| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ----------------------------------------  And it begins Another Vol of Yamato is upon us! Hoorah! Mostly set up but lots of good stuff to be found. I'm particularly interested with Melda's continued character development and how she's seeing the Empire in a new light. Seems there are some other like minded officers when they stopped Melda from doing something rash Dommel and Okita are quite similar even if they are enemies. Dommel trusts Okita to be the cunning man he saw at their last encounter when their ships rammed each other. I'm excited to see how the battle inside the Rainbow Cluster plays out. Okita and Dommel both have some type of aces up their sleeves with Dommel having Flakken the Interdimensional Submarine Commander and Okita having Yamamoto As for my opinion on the new ED, I don't mind it but it's definitely not up there with ED 1,2, or 4 which are still my favorites |

| It looks like they are developing Melda into a Claus von Stauffenberg figure, although we've already seen a version of the July 20th plot fail. |

| I have a bad feeling about the special operations group in the Dommel expedition. They might target Yurisha. And Melda is slowly gaining a negative vision of the empire it seems. It'll be interesting to see if it leads to anything. |

| 5/5 Stake tense atmosphere, which offers also a few moments of everyday life. Pleasant this mixture, does not make it monotonous and one-sided, in the more we find the elements of a medium-high level of OVA, with graphics and designs that seabed, level amazing. Ships also are interesting and make the waiting and expectations intense and heart-pounding. I predict there will be a nice bet prosssima the time, I'm happy! Maximum grade for the characters put in too. Desler and Captain Okita MC's of the episode. Who knows how it will end between the two drivers ... Uh! Uh! Uh! XD |

| Another great episode. The skies in this anime are beautiful. You'd think with the vastness of space between galaxies they wouldn't always end up within a light minute from eachother. |

| I love that plane lauching system where they drop backwards into action. BTW When did Yamato get so my fighters? They had 20 or something in the end and not just few like in previous episodes. |
| Man, I love the way the stars look in this anime! Also, nice episode with a lot of build up but at the pain of being uneventful. Well, we'll have to see if the tension built up is worth it! |

| Seems like Domel was in on it with Desler to root out the traitors. I'm guessing his wife was one too and if he brings down the Yamato her sentence will be lowered. Jam Project singing the ending this time. I love the endings so much. |

| Interesting is the initial part of the episode, in which the question is posed by Yurisha against Commander Okita about why they had the technology of the moving wave cannon and not the reverse cosmos, the humans. This reflection on the work of humans, denotes how the anime series has never underestimated any aspect of the issue. Very intriguing the final part, the fact that aliens like the Terrans are without means to fight this last decisive battle, makes the expectations very interesting. I look forward to seeing Domel in action and his strategies. |

| Interesting, Dessler wonders whether there's a point in clinging to Baleras. The anthem of Gamillas has a line about blue flowers...this doesn't look like their home planet! Is it polluted or something? Is this whole imperialism Dessler's way of searching for a new home? |
| Great setup episode, Dessler officially back on his throne. Domel will be the most fierce opponent yet, as expected of the show he's been given so much background you kind of wish him well as well. Didn't know the Yamato had so many smaller fighter jets, next ep will be great. |
