| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol the Mario Kart reference. The character chemistry between Sakura and Meiling is really charming this season including this episode. What a nice episode of appreciation. The part with Sakura and Syaoran were cute as well from their memories. Tomoya stood out this episode as well with her trusty camera. Her mom is pretty awesome too. Seems business is finally picking up with that cliffhanger. |

| The pacing has really slowed down since Episode 2. This was all fluff. I like that Kero is basically playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe though. Is it just me or does the episode preview look like we're getting mecha in this series? Never mind, the girl just looks like the Fight Card. The Clear Card Arc is getting weird. |

| The best thing about this episode was the sweet Mario Kart reference. Otherwise, yet another fine episode that doesn't feel anything special. This show is having a long streak of just "fine" episodes now and I would like it to end with something actually exciting and good. Hope its over next week after that cliffhanger. |

| Great episode again. Kero playing Mario Kart was great. We get stronger hints if not confirmation on the book that Akiho reads being directly related to the events that Sakura has been experiencing of late. Was nice seeing the play again, Embarrassed Sakura is so adorable. <3 I really wanted to hear Tomoyo's singing again. :( I assume the card that's causing trouble is the Quake card or something along those lines. I love how dedicated Tomoyo is to filming Sakura. XD |

| I'm starting to think there's going to be a season 2 of Clear Card-hen given the pacing in the anime compared to the manga. While the writing is being done fairly differently to the manga there just seems to be too much fluff and not enough plot addressing given its length. That's fair play though as the original series had almost as much filler as canon content but it lent itself greatly to filler as it's already a primarily episodic series. I'll be happy if there ends up being a season 2 cause I'd rather they not squeeze most of the story oriented episodes into the last 7 episodes. |
| Meiling's development as a character is the best thing about this reboot so far. She's the only character who seems to have changed at all from the original series, and in a good way. with this episode, I'm kind of confused about the continuity of this reboot? so the second movie happened here? but wasn't the OVA supposed to be the replacement for the second movie in this canon? I'm confused... either way, this episode was mostly filler and really nothing special in my opinion. about halfway through the season and still hardly any plot development whatsoever... sigh... |
| Everything Akiho said at the start it what's been happening in the last couple of episodes, it might be fun for her but Sakura has had quite a tough time. Mario Kart! well something that closely resembles it. That white rabbit Akiho has is featured quite a bit in this episode, probably won't be long now until it comes to life like it shows in the opening. I was waiting for that moment Sonomi got to meet Sakura again, nice to see she's as lively as ever, What a cool home theater that is, I also thought that play was truly wonderful. No surprise Tomoyo had a lot of fun filming the best parts of Sakura & Syaoran together. An earthquake, just like in that play. That Snooze card will always be one of the best, just being able to put people to sleep and keep them aware from harm plus also Sakura hiding her magic identity. We have to wait until next episode to see what happens next, not often we get left on an ending like that. |

| Another relaxing episode. I wish the plot would pick up a bit more... I like these slice of life moments watching Sakura with her friends and family, but it's a magical girl series, so I'm waiting for the plot outside of the slice of life elements to unfold, and with seven episodes to go, there are still a lot of unanswered questions I'm dying to learn about. Man, Tomoyo is lucky with that huge ass house xD Also, I loved Tomoyo's dress, the colors were so aesthetically pleasing. Was I the only one who felt kind of bad for Sakura? She was clearly very embarrassed during that whole movie rewatch. I think Clear Card is really trying to appeal to nostalgia, bringing back characters like Meiling, showing flashbacks from the movie... I swear, every episode, someone tells another character, "You never change" as if the show really wants the audience to reconnect with the original CCS. I'm all for nostalgia, but I just want to see more new moments. I liked the episode overall, but I really want Clear Card to make me LOVE this season. Hoping for more in the next week or so! |

| The cards are definitely getting stronger, so much now that Sakura absolutely needs a Kero or Li assist to solidify her captures. I'm not worried about the pacing, it has been slow but I think the show is right where it needs to be. quick edit - the animation has REALLY been on point last couple of epds, I'm enjoying it. |
| HAHA OMG What is this new type of bullying. Seriously, all her shame resonated within me, I laughed during the whole thing from feeling so nervous. The staff must really love this movie, they don't even care about continuity problems or plot holes. I can't blame them, at this point I also don't give a shit. Just give me more of my OTP and everything is forgiven. Gosh, I'm so cheap. Okay, from the beggining, I don't get why we haven't seen the rabbit move and talk yet since the ed already makes it pretty clear. Also, Kaito makes me uncomfortable. The phone call between Sakura and Syaoran was so cute, but I feel like they are never together enough this season. They actually went out more when they didn't like each other lol. But if he was there I'd just feel bad for him, he would have died of shame. Sakura was so happy-go-lucky, poor thing, what a trap it was. If you pay attention you can sense the exact moment the card decides to act: Akiho: Awn, where's the rest. Tomoyo: Unfortunately, there was an earthquake, so there's no end. Sakura: I wish an earthquake would take me out of here. Card: I hear you loud and clear. I wasn't expecting this to continue next week so it was surprising that we got to the middle of the episode and nothing had happened yet. So, seems like we'll have a lot of things happening next according to the preview. |

| It looks like the next episode features a clear card version of the fight card-except she's red instead of blue . I've been enjoying the new episode . But so far I still prefer the original serise Ofc Last week's episode was great ! but each episode seems to be..just a bit too short.... |

| I've always assumed it was Kaito controlling the everything, but now there's an earthquake that puts Akiho in harm... Doesn't make sense >.< The episode was so short! Lots of fluff, little action... from the preview there's gonna be some action with the fight card! |
| Another "nostalgia" episode and yes, it seems the plot has become slower again but to be truly honest... I really don't care :D I loved this ep. as much as the other "filler" ones. It was nice to see the play again (and Rika in the background ehmm...) and how embarrassed Sakura looked. I was smilling during the whole episode. P.S.: Too bad the card had to show up during Tomoyo's singing -.- |
| I cannot explain how happy it makes me that meilin is in multiple episodes. I thought she was going to be in one or two. This episode was so cute. I loved seeing the play. And I love meilin's character a lot in this. I've always loved her even when she was a little brat xD but she's just so sweet in this. I'm excited to see the next episode. Finally a card haha. And one they have to fight with. As much as I love that there is a new series it seems so different than the old one. I feel like there something missing that I wish it had. But I'm still loving these. I can't wait until some more serious things happen. |

| I hated that this episode left on a cliffhanger. However, it has not been the best episode so far, since it seemed to mainly recap one of the movies for the majority of the episode. Still, it is always adorable to see the chemistry between Sakura and Syaoran. |

| Watching that episode made me really want to rewatch the second movie. I absolutely loved watching that, and it was sweet that we got to recapture the memories back from when Sakura and Syaoran were still in elementary school. This anime is just making me verrrry happy with the cuteness of the main couple, so adorable. We got quite a few snippets of Momo in that so I have got to assume that she'll be seen as a familiar properly at some point soon. Also, it's interesting to hear about how Akiho is deciphering this book about Alice and how it connects to the real-life events going on with Sakura. At the moment, I can only guess that Kaito has already read this "book" and making it a reality with Sakura instead. |

| Tomoyo's house continues to amaze me. Watching old videos is always a fun thing. Let's hope that Tomoyo's house doesn't become damaged by whatever card is causing the quake. |

| So I guess the Second Movie's canon, I guess it fits since the original left off before summer vacation, even if the manga/prologue OVA didn't, was pretty cool to see the characters quite literally relive old moments. I gotta wonder what Sakura did with her old hair clips though |
