Oo, all sorts of supernatural and otherworldly creatures came out to play this episode. For a finale, this felt fitting and climatic. I got the thrill of watching the poses, comedy, and action.

The episode was very entertaining. Nike and Kukuri works great as a team. They managed to use a new flashy sword too and the overall content felt impactful. 8/10. Will miss this anime. I really enjoyed watching Nike and Kukuri's character chemistry for this season, including this episode.

Pretty fun series that had a lot of good comedy in it and great characters such as Nike, Juju, and Kukuri
It had its flaws such as some of the gags being repetitive, pacing being way too fast and Eldol being an annoying character but the positives outweigh the negatives.
Overall pretty good series that made me laugh a couple of times

I get that for a lot of people this anime is just cute and fun and enjoyable, but it really hit on a lot of things that I particularly love and I don't think that there were any negatives for me, except that the Lef Island episode seemed a little rushed just for the final few minutes (besides that, I really appreciated the fast pace in every other episode). A lot of shows will define my taste, I'll think "because this anime is so good, anime like this are what I'm into." For Guruguru, it's kind of the opposite - "because this anime targets my exact taste with such pinpoint accuracy, it's easily one of my favorite anime ever." We'll see if my memories of Guruguru have as much lasting power as others in my top 10, but for right now, I'm very happy to have watched this anime this season.

That was a wonderful final episode. I loved it when all the side characters showed up again to help out; made me realize just how many characters there were. Kukuri was adorable during her confession and the after credits scene was sweet too.
A super fun show and my favorite non-sequel anime of 2017. Kita Kita Oyaji best girl. 8/10
Hopefully the sequel manga will get adapted one day. I'll be celebrating when it does.

Nnnng.
I don't like to be the spoilsport, but again the adaptation cut out most of the final volume and kind of went into anime original material during the first 5 minutes to fast foward at max speed to the Giri battle.

No "we exploited the fact that starting town items are dirt cheap and bought hundreds of the protective flowers so Giri strongest monsters just can't hurt us" joke
No Kita-Kita Ojisan attempting to recruit Giri himself as his disciple (and the reaction)
No attempt at explaining why RunRun is embarassed about her name (not exactly the best even in manga format, but still it was forshadowed at the beginning of this anime and thus ends up in a plot hole)
No "I actually cursed myself in dog form because I wanted Giri to think I'm harmless" revelation from mage guild president.
Zero explanation about why Kukuri tears can hurt Giri and break his curses, lowering Nike's most brilliant moment of awesome to a cheap deus-ex.
And in general zero Wanchin lore expositions after Planano arc.

etcetera

The entire post-Alahabica arcs suffered a lot from a rushed adaptation (not quite on the level of episode 1/2 pacing but near enough), and those were the arcs that were never adapted before and thush required a good job.

Still one of the funniest fantasy story around, even after 25 years, just far from being a great adaptation.

I loved the series. But the ending two episodes are underwhelming. The anastasia ending has no foreshadowing whatsoever. What became of the story where the previous guru guru user who sealed away the previous giri giri sealed away the previous hero? Quirky and not taking itself seriously are good things, yes. Still, it's ending. For this series, it's just more natural to have an ending that delivers more awe or an ending that is more emotional

Magical Circle Guru Guru Overall Impressions:

I researched this anime back when I watched the first episode of Guru Guru. To my surprise, I found out this was an new, fast-paced adaptation of an old work I have yet heard about ever. Perhaps kids anime never got much focal attention for most of the Western anime fandom. It explains why works like Creamy Mami, Minky Momo, and Guru Guru are seen as obscure, despite them being pretty popular in Japan. I have seen people praise this on r/anime as episodes were airing and was wondering if I felt similarly. What did I think of it in the end?

I think this was a very decent anime, but my problems come not from the overall story structure and use of jokes. I loved the main duo (Especially Kukuri) and the jokes worked for me sometimes (G-Fantasy had the most memorable jokes), but the humor did not personally appeal with me. Majority of the jokes are usually randomness, making fun of RPGs, and a bunch of immature jokes that I can see kids get consistent laugh out of. But I could not really laugh at all of them because of the fast-pacing.

This is not to say that makes the anime bad, as the humor is well-executed and the pacing is incredibly appropriate for Guru Guru. The ironic thing about this is that the comedy anime I love the most (Saiki K. and Teekyu) consist of fast pacing and non-stop jokes. In the end, most of the jokes personally fell flatter to me as the series progressed, and I just wanted to see Nike and Kukuri progress in their relationship. Had I watched this as a kid, I probably would have gotten a better impression of this anime. But a lot of the humor is stuff that I cannot seem to natural laugh at anymore. But I still liked Guru Guru in the end.

Now if any of the type of humor I mentioned (RPG jokes, immaturity, and randomness) is something that is right up your alley, then you will definitely love this anime. It just did not work for me. Perhaps if I watched the original anime adaptation with its slower pacing and build-up, I might have liked this series a lot more. I still recommend watching the first episode to see if this is your cup of tea. I personally think Magical Circle deserves more recognition despite my personal indifference.

Blending comedy and drama together, only few shows can do that perfectly. This show is a masterpiece. I'm gonna miss the whole show.

Thank you for the memories, Kukuri and Nike!

And it comes to an end. Even though I thought this was inferior to the 1994 version, it still was a pretty enjoyable remake. And this version is supposedly more faithful to the manga. Just thought that the anime felt like it was on crack sometimes, where characters talked/interacted really fast and events progressed a bit too fast as well. Also thought that Kukuri was cuter in the original version.

7/10 overall.

I'm sad that it's over. It was nice to see again all the characters previously met, come to defeat Giri. Even if the peace didn't last too long xD.

Mahoujin guruguru's comedy is flawless, there were so much jokes that I didn't expect. The 4th wall is broken several times, but we never get the feeling that it's forced. The weird jokes and even "sexual" jokes are so funny. Lucky star and Pink bomb :D
It's also a nice RPG parody with cute characters.

I think the ending is perfect, but if a second season is announced, I won't mind seeing it.

And so Hero Nike and Guru Guru User Kukuri save the world from Demon Lord Giri...and Nike's pent-up poop...only for ANOTHER demon lord to pop up. The  adventure never ends! The show, however, does. And what a ride it was. I watched the first three episodes of this last year, and while I was pretty confused returning to it several months later, that probably would have been true even had I watched it all at once. By which I mean this series was wacky and nonsensical to the max. But it was in an endearing, almost Bobobo-esque sort of way.  With parodies and references galore, and several endearing characters with enjoyable running gags. The pervy Nike, the embarassing Raid...whatever the hell Old Man North-North was, etc...Trying to logically analyze the story would be an effort in futility. In short, it was cute and funny, and that's what I wanted it to be. Honestly I'm tempted to knock off Net-game no Susume from my Top 10 Anime of 2017 list for it. The only reason I won't is because I'm not sure this will have as much replay value for me. I must admit the craziness or zaniness was starting to make it difficult for me to pay attention near the end. The it still remained fun. I loved the little arc where Kukuri and Nike became parents to the teenage forest queen for instance. Apparently the end was also kinda rushed judging by comments manga readers have left. I dunno how much that matters when a series is this wacky though honestly. But I suppose I'm rambling. I think I'll give this a slightly generous 8 out of 10.

One of the most enjoyable shows I've seen in my life: fun, fast, imaginative, impish, comic and cute at the same time. Pacing was great, the finale was great, not a single-dull moment. Perfect.

Not a perfect show with some rushed pacing to it (although to be honest, 24 episodes of this show sounds way more appealing with this pacing than seasons of 40+) and some gags at times not really hitting and being overused, but I can't deny, this was a refreshing and nostalgic experience for sure, as someone who loves RPGs and even played some JRPGs as well. Very simple, but charming show with a solid ending that ends off with another adventure, which is fitting. Nike and Kukuri were an oddly solid duo too since I wasn't quite sold on them at the start. Grew on me.

I'd rate the show a light 7 overall. It's definitely got its fair share of issues but at least it didn't leave me bored and instead, I had some fun watching this, even if nostalgia glasses are involved. The one thing I won't miss is that old man's dance, thank god it's over there.

Just finished it yesterday, to be honest the comedy is not that funny (compare to Grand Blue, Prison School or Asobi Asobae etc) But its a cute parody of RPG clichés. I was about to give it a 7/10 But the last episode it became 8/10.

It just amazing to watch all those characters the Hero and Kukuri help and met during their adventure to all show up and help them in the final battle.

168 chapters adapted in 24 episodes. Rushed as fuck. Surprised this rushed adaptation is ranked so high. That's 50 episodes worth of content. Should've been 50 episodes long, which would've given it a better pace.
