Well, Bitou Lollipop has been one frustrating journey, but I'm glad everyone ended up happy. Suprised the mangaka went with the "pair the spares" route

I just finish reading it in one sitting... Even though I wasn't in love with the story and the characters, something about it just made be binge read it. However if I had to wait for each chapter to be translated, I would most definitively have dropped this manga... I find the ending to be lacking...But thank God the pair, I liked, ended up together.

Personally I liked Ono better. Lol I would have liked more insight into his character. I never was really interested in the younger guy which is just my preference. Also they never revealed that ono was having an affair with the mom and that the protagonist knew about it THE WHOLE TIME. haha like wouldn't that be betrayal? Also the girl leads us on with the whole back and forth between the two guys. Also it was so interesting when ono said "I'm an expert at one sided love" like that was so sad and cute.

Hated Ono. I just wish that Tomoyo had gotten one good punch on him for sleeping with his mother.

Hated Tomoyo's mother for cheating and being a bitch about it. I wish Tomoyo either would have confronted her about it because he knew and what's why had hated a hatred of her or his dad found out.

Hated Madoka's dad for doing what he did.

Half hated Madoka for doing what she did to Tomoyo. She brutally rejected him, then uses him as emotional support, and then realizes she loves him.

I liked Tomoyo (even though he was kind of an asshole), Madoka's mom, and Chizuru.

Requests:

VICTORY for the childhood friend!
male MC ends up with tomboy
love triangle between main guy/main girl/bad guy
male lead suffers while female lead likes/dates someone else
Slut becomes monogamous after falling in love with male MC
When a past love/ex comes back

I really liked this manga. I'm glad it has a happy ending, and it was nice seeing the characters struggle and grow...

And I'm glad they got together in the end, like, there was no reason to break up in the first place. You can be in love with more than one person at a time. You just have to pick one and stay faithful.

i'm disappointed of the ending. though i'm glad that tomoyo and madoka ended up together. i hate ono but i would like to know him more. i don't really understand how him and asagi mama had an affair or how it started since asagi mama seems to have no feelings for him at all. and at the end, is it safe to assume that ono have one sided feelings for madoka?

overall i enjoyed this manga. however, the development towards the ending and the ending itself... -_-

This manga succeeded in one thing: finding something to hate about every single character.

I’m glad that they ended up together, but the reunion wasn’t heartfelt. There wasn’t a full resolution. They were working so hard on having sex but it never fucking happened.

If you are emotionally stirred by this manga, I must warn you the ending payoff isn’t worth it.

End. Rant.

I really enjoyed the story up until the timeskip. I really hated the fact that they kinda built up the Ono/Madoka plot for it to just disappeared. I hated how they introduce a new girl character just to create unnecessary conflict. I was so upset when I finished the story 😂😂😂

I wasn't a fan of the ending. I really liked the first half of the manga, but the second half was just not it. I'm happy Madoka and Tomoyo end up together, I just wish it didn't happen like THAT haha. I hate the implied Ono/Runa at the end too. Wish we got to know Ono a bit better. Still glad I read the manga though because the first half was really cute.
