That green haired girl is weird. Very childish imo.

The airplane scene was pretty intense as Maria got involved. Tsubasa is badass as usual when fighting. I honestly think some of their enemies are a lot more tougher than they anticipated. That princess carry though..Tsubasa to the recuse! Good action this episode :D

TRINITY RESONANCE
I enjoyed Tsubasa's song and I was secretly hoping the Ignite module was going to be back this season, the trio's opening song really suits it.

The quality of scenes really went down, hopefully that will be fixed in the Blu-ray...
Ignite is back(literally, with reused GX cut)

However, despite these, TRINITY RESONANCE was full of awe, and Tsubasa's new song was great too(NANA wills it!)

Tsubasa badass as usual along with awesome new song.

Dat Trinity Resonance. A Hibiki on a giant sword powered by a giant rocket, why the ***k not? lmfao

I was so sure Chris would lose control of bAKken! Thankfully not. Even had some wits about her too. Good girl! :D

Damn you Alchemists and your teleporting hax!

A little story time with Miku, and then we get back into the action.

I can't help but think about Tsubasa's dive rescue to Maria is a reference to a movie. Once again, Tsubasa's transformation was HNNNGGGG!!!, and her new song is SEXY!

Tiki...an autoscorer designed to measure the alignment of the planets...We're going to be heading into space...Also, who leaves a phone on a balcony railing?

Well people did say that the Alca-Noise were feeling redundant...so now they upped the ante by summoning Evangelion Angel-Noise that creates a subspace and buffs Alca-Noise defense to the point where Bikki can't break them with her punches. And when Bikki said more power, yep, here comes ignite! They reused the GX transformations, which honestly is fine. No change necessary. The music tho...

SPEAKER BULLETS???!!! WE'RE MACROSS 7 NOW! What next? Speaker Torpedoes?

And TRINITY RESONANCE! FUCK YEAH! I was wondering when we would see a Chrono Trigger style fusion attack. Tsubasa's sword becomes a flying ship powered by Chris' rockets which launches Hibiki up to deliver a lightning kick followed by the sword impaling the target and then self-destructing via the rockets. More! MORE! Maybe Maria, Kirika, and Shirabe should get one. Now how would that look like...?

But with these new Alca-Noise coming up, they're going to need all the help they can get. Elfnein better get working on that LiNKER recipe!

Daaamn. Every time I think Symphogear can't top itself, it proves me wrong... this time with TRINITY RESONANCE. Alca-Noise upped the ante, so Ignite module made a return :D

Dat Bikki train of though: "My punches aren't working? Punch with MOAR POWER" XD

Also, a bit of Gekisou Gungnir pre-op :D

Okay, I officially need to ask - when exactly was it established that Maria needed LiNKER to her gear? We've never once seen her dose herself with the stuff, meanwhile with Shirabe and Kirika, they were always getting hopped up on the stuff. But I feel like this is the first season it's been stated that Maria can't activate a gear without LiNKER.

But that aside, episode was HYPE! Loved Tsubasa's transformation sequence, favorite so far. And the free fall fight fanfare was the best!

So happy to see the Ignite Modules again. And for reasons I can't explain, when the girls combined their weapons into a giant rocket sword catapult, I couldn't help by cry out: "WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE!?"

I'm not sure. In GX, when Maria uses Airgetlam for the first time (episode 7 aka beach training), she mentions to herself "The LiNKER I took for training is working", indicating that she needs LiNKER too. I'd need to dig through G to see where it is mentioned for the first time, but yes, we haven't seen her to use LiNKER.

Not that she had much prolonged action in G in the first place that would necessitate her to use LiNKER on-screen.

Always nice seeing the trio of Hibiki, Tsubasa and Chris. They're song is hype as fuck. Same goes for Tsubasa's song, god bless Nana Mizuki <3

There's been a lot of talk of Fine this season, I wonder if she'll make a return this season after being dead for 2 seasons. New green haired girl is suspicious as well.

Ignite Module is still a thing along with the glorious metal that goes with it. I need to see this series in high res because man it looks so faded but other than that, nice episode. Good ol' yuri bait moment with Hibiki and Miku when it showed Miku on her phone and she has Hibiki as her background (might as well say they are a couple at this point; smh).

I hope they get this LiNKER issue out of the way soon because Elfnein having the self-blame game going is gonna be a real irritating thing for me if they keep it going the whole time. I was hoping they'd find a way to remedy that situation by now so that Maria, Shirabe and Kirika aren't fundamentally useless as Symphogear users but all good things in time.

Also, is it me or did they increase Chris' chest size in the opening bit of this episode? Like holy crap, yeah she's got the plot game but damn. Also, that SR-71 Blackbird attack...I mean Trinity Resonance was dank. All in all, can't wait for more of this season.
Don't believe the hype.

Wasn't it established or at least confirmed early in GX? Maria used Gungnir but without any Linker in her system she was suffering severe backfire while doing so. I don't think we've ever seen Maria go the overdose route that Kirika and Shirabe have gone in G and GX, but I thought the show always implied that they were all using it as necessary.

At least GX noted that they all suffered the same kind of backfire which was already established even in G as what happens when your coefficient is too low. The wording used implied it was the same issue those two ran into and nothing like Maria no longer being able to use Gungnir. In fact she probably could still use it even now, but there is no reason for her to.

It was episode 4, when Tsubasa was fighting Maria on top of the sub.n Maria said that her gear was getting heavy, and Dr. Nastassja told her that her coefficiency values were dropping, and that the LiNKER was wearing off.

Nice to see Ignite Module back. It seems they can control it now compared to last season? And lol do their boobs getting firmer when in Ignite Module :)

Telepathy

One of the Alchemists means of communication, which utilizes an exchange of sympathy force. It enables communication between subjects that are far apart. Normally, both the sender and receiver are required to be telepaths for it to work. However, high-class practitioners (Telepath Mages) are able to convert the mind's thought signals into a physical form, which allows communication with individuals who are not telepaths. For Director Adam Weishaupt, his thoughts when given physical form turned into an old-fashioned phone. It not only made it possible for him to communicate with Tiki, who is not a telepath, but it also functions as a highly encrypted communication signal that is very difficult for third parties to intercept.

I'm going to expect to see that phone appear in the most random of places.

Ignite Module

A combat booster that was developed after the analysis of the "berserk" mechanism that was only previously observed in a very rare case of human/sacrist fusion. It was added into the Symphogear system after it suffered damaged from the Alca-Noise. The mechanism that triggers it utilizes a fragment of the cursed sword Dáinsleif. The command word necessary to activate it is "Unsheathe." The Ignite Module grants the user a high increase in energy output and durability for a short period of time. Because the threats that accompany the berserk form are still present, the module is furnished with 3 different levels of safeties to ensure that the Adaptor will not lose their mind when using it. Each time a safety is released, the berserk energy is more purely focused into the user’s combat potential. However there is a time limit attached (a count of 999), that starts from when the first stage of Unsheathe (Nigendo) is activated. From there if the user proceeds to the second grade (Albedo) or beyond (Rubedo), the energy gets used up at an even faster rate and upon use will naturally exhaust the count faster. When the count becomes 0 the system will forcibly cancel the Symphogear, even if the user is in the middle of a battle, and therefore depending on the circumstances may expose the Adaptor to even further danger.

We might see an instance where the gears will have to power up to Rubedo like they did in episode 12 of GX. But maybe this time we'll get to see just how powerful it really is in combat. And I'm going to bet that the first person to do so will be Chris.

She seems so upright and focused all the time, but I can't help but see a hidden softer, more feminine side of her. Also the hair...I might have to change waifus when she dons the helmet. Hmm. Reading that, it makes me think of Nanohas's Blaster module from StrikerS. There was an insane amount of recoil involved in using that system, and from the sounds of it, the ignite module is built similarly. How much recoil is the real question though.

A) Addiction - a progressive narrowing of the things that bring you pleasure.

So as quickly as I was starting to see hope in that symphogear might be actually something really good this time, I was just as fast turned off with this episode. Alca noise appeared! Go to this location! Also the main baddies will be there but they are there just to observe before retreating once again for some reason! Also their suit up montages are way too long especially hibiki’s like damn how many times do you need to punch the air before actually getting in on the action.

And how many fucking lolis do we need in this show; they are a major turn off why can’t we have more normal girls like tsubasa and maria and even Chris. Hibiki gets a pass because she’s the main character but seriously I could easily do without her.

Yeah I’ll finish this later but I’m putting it aside for now and gonna watch something supposedly good like shinsekai yori, which I hope won’t let me down

No wonder Val Verde sounded familiar. It's the same country used in the movie Commando and used by Hollywood not to offend some S. American country.
I like how they include metal/rock/dubstep elements into their songs when they use Ignite.
