| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Dang, the relationship between Bon and Rin is getting even more tense now. No wonder considering the suspect still at large. I like how they did a good job at building up at that suspense for this arc. Not to mention, we got to see a bit of Mamushi and her abilities. The Shima brothers and the three Hojo sisters' conflict got tense. There's also a connection between the eye of the Impure King and Blue Night (oh God, those flashbacks are nostalgic) |

| More training. He finally got the hang of it. There's a reason that exorcist became demon and that lady that can control snake is involved. That seems to be related to the demon principal and main guy. Father and son confrontation. Seeing them as his failure and showed blue fire in front of everyone. The teacher stopped him. |

| I always knew that Mamushi was a fucking dumbass but not THIS much of a dumbass....I really hope that dumb bitch dies or gets thrown in jail forever after this And as for Suguro, my god is he so fucking dense and selfish.....I get that you feel a certain way about your dad but open your damn eyes and grow up!!!!!! There's bigger things at stake now and you wanna mope around with petty shit -_- I was so fucking happy that Rin punched the hell out of him and said all those things to him because he deserved every bit of it....And his dad is just as stupid too for allowing Suguro to feel that way about him Man this episode made me so livid.....Not because it was bad because by no means it wasn't but rather this was a great and very intense episode that was flawlessly done but man I hate to see shit like this And now everyone are gonna hate on Rin for being Satan's son which will further make me mad |

| Great episode. Agree with @Tokoya that Suguro is being pretty blind here. He's just taking out all his pent up anger on his Dad at the wrong time. He should at least try to hear his Dad's side of the story before trying to cut all his ties with him. Rin was awesome this episode, It's actually really nice to see him trying to advise Suguro because he doesn't want him to go through the same things that he once did. Honestly the entire reason that the whole interaction between Rin and Suguro is so emotional is because Rin is speaking out of an experience that he regrets. The moments where Rin remembered his Dad were really emotional for me. | I had totally forgotten that no one in the Myoda sect knew who Rin was, but I thought it should have been kinda obvious, I mean, with the tail and all... Juuzou was right on the money, Todo is tricking Mamushi, there's no way he wants to "keep it safe" somewhere. |

| Wow, Bon and Rin's little fight was somewhat hard to watch. Also i can't really stand watching Shura at this point. What she's doing makes sense since everyone's scared after seeing Rin's blue flames, but i don't like her atm. That's subjective though. Mamushi really got tricked by Todo, wow. So now we know that Bon's father has something bigger planned. |

| I mean Ive been reading the manga and they are doing a really good job of adapting it. I enjoyed the comedy a lot more this episode. And as said above, there is usually action in the second half. |

| Amazing episode! Really hope that A-1 Pictures will start spitting out a few more seasons of this, Blue exorcist is a great manga but i enjoy it the most as an anime |

| Aww, they didn't animate the little bit where Sugoro's dad cop'd a feel at Shura's ass (and successfully did he). FrozenRaider said: Sweet Jesus it took 4 episodes to start real action... That'll be 5 episodes in if they stay on track as next episode is most likely going to adapt a flashback unless they skip that. Could be wrong if they change it up. |
| Talk about overreacting Jesus... didn't enjoy the "father and son moment"... seemed too forced. At least we got to see some exorcist powers and sh** in this episode Hope the series get better. Right now, imo, the alternative ending of "season 1" is still better then this. 3/5 Edit: fixed some errors |

| Mamushi being the traitor is not surprising considering her behavior the past episodes. While she has some points respecting Mephisto, is obvious Toudou is going to ditch her once she fullfils whatever role she has to perform in his plans. I wonder if she even knows he is a demon. I can't wait to see her face when that eventually happens. The confrontation between Ryuji and his father was powerful, especially thanks to Rin's intervention. I always liked how the series never forgets about Shiro and how despite how he died in the first episodes, his presence is always here. Definetely liked that Rin tried to convince Ryuji to not commit the same mistake he did in the past. Ryuji really needed to have someone knocking some sense into him (since his approaching to the situation was not the best one), but I will give him some point, since the attitude of secretism of his father wasn't the best either. Now the Myoda has discovered that Rin is Satan's son... more drama is comming. Btw, Shura is perfect and nobody can convince me of the contrary.  |

| Mamushi is so arrogant. To think everyone is wrong except her and some random sketch teacher she had. Disgrace. Girl needs to die. Also, Rin is a true friend. Bon needs to get his shit together Kuro is the real mvp tho. So cute how he's so concerned for Rin. HIS ONLY TRUE ALLY. |

| Really happy with how Rin tried to stop Suguro from making the mistake as he did, but it kinda sucks that it's gonna lead everyone at the Temple to hate him now as well. And just as he was starting to make things better as well. |

It wasn't a surprise to see Rin getting at Suguro and his father. Regardless though even if it was overdone I think the message really hit home, both in Rin's circumstances as well as pretty much any family member. It really is important that you take time to be thankful for your parents, everyone gets rebellious and snide at some point with their family, what's important is making sure that you clear up everything and say the things you want to, before it's too late and you regret it. Yo Shura your legs are looking a bit wonky there xD |

| This episode was very interesting. Seeing that Mamushi was the traitor was a little bit obvious though. But is she really a traitor? The end of the episode was the one that caught me. Rin punching Bon in the face is where everything started. Everyone now knows the truth and I’m extremely excited to see what’s gonna happen to RIn in the next episode. |

| Ehh so that sensei guy is so overly evil I don't even... :v So I guess Mamushi is just seriously stupid or something. This is the most cliche type of plot ever, sigh... Not that I didn't enjoy it, poor Rin-kun, his pure kokoro full of regrets made me a bit sad :(  Also, Shura's reactions at the end of episode were pretty priceless lol. |
