| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Man this episode was soo good :D Had a smile on my face throughout the whole Mutta-Hibito conversation. Mutta is just the best big brother u could hope for ^^ The nightmare at the start was quite scary. The way he reacted saying if a carefree person like u gets it then I worry about my future lol and how he said PD=Pretty Dog and u just need to imagine Apo XD I can see Hibito owning the test now :D He'll laugh the PD off with Apo's stupid face hahaha. Mutta saying that getting it in the taxi from a dream is for the best and his reasoning was so awesome ^^ Really great bromance this ep. Nxt ep seems the one whose going to the moon will be announced. >.< I really have no idea how this will go. OP & ED were pretty nice. Pretty upbeat compared to normal ^^ |

| I wonder if it's okay having such an opening. Not that it's bad, but not quite the Uchuu Kyoudai feel to it. Ending is OK too. Great way to start off the season, with an Uchuu Kyoudai episode. Since everything was on hold this week. I loved that talk between Hibito and Mutta. And I freakin' love this expression. :> From the preview... Kenji is selected?? Or am I misinterpreting? |
| That nightmare, what a punch to the gut. D: When Hibito stalked talking about his panic attacks with Mutta I stopped breathing. I'm so glad he was finally able to tell his brother and yet at the same time it hurt to see him talking about it. And ahhh, that definite line again, I loved seeing it before a year ago and I extra love it now. Mutta is so wonderful. ;_; While I didn't care for the OP song I loved the visuals as usual, what a beautiful ship Mutta is. xD The ending was nice as well, although I do prefer the previous one. |

| The beginning scene with Hibito panicking in the taxi was really powerful and emotional, I know that feeling all too well and it's like your mind says "get over it", but your body refuses to comply. "Here comes the PD...Pretty Dog!" Mutta is always crazy but there's a method to his madness. Also like how he pointed out that the problem wasn't the spacesuit. "The spacesuit is on our side." Looks like that could have been the revelation Hibito needed to get ready for his exam. That heartfelt talk between the Nanba brothers reminded me why I love this series. |

| Mutta, you are such cool big brother! I really like Mutta/Hibito moment! I thought Hibito test was real... xD Now after this I pretty sure Hibito will pass the test! I did not expect New Year Wishes ! *.* How nice of authors for making this! But I don't really like new op and ed... Well... I think like with most of UK themes, I will start it, after for some time... Oh! I almost forget about "Appo's anime crush" xD Kinda cute :) |
| Man, I like how they integrate the most stupid shit to this storyline. Seriously, how did the author had the idea of this Pretty dog thing? I really love this anime. Definitely one of the best anime I've ever watched! |
| Wow the anime they get on tv. Mr.Hibbit, Pretty Dog, amazing. Although he says the suit isn't the cause, the panic was of him in a dream in a suit, so that may not be the case exactly.. But good ep, anime is saving Hibito's life here. |

| I love how in character everyone stays in this show. Mutta didn't suddenly deliver a bone deep, well thought out speech, instead he stays light (almost insultingly so lol) and doesn't make a big deal out of it, which imo is the key to lessen the kinds of anxieties where people dread what their surroundings think if they lose control/have an attack/etc. I know most people don't have their careers hanging on the line, but since Hibito has proven he can put a suit on and stay in it in a low stress environment, the only thing he seems to need now is to keep his stress level low, and the talk with Mutta I think helped with that. All in all this PD arc with Hibito makes NASA look pretty damn wasteful. What, they can't dedicate a psychologist/-iatrist to an astronaut in his prime, allowing all that training to go down the drain? Ehh, w/e, artistic licence and all that. I wonder who gets to go on the moon mission in next week's episode :) |
| Great episode! I just love how Uchuu Kyoudai isn't afraid to talk about taboos. Makes the characters so much more relatable and more human. |

" Hibito: huh? why? Mutta: " That means the spacesuit isn't causing the attacks... We grew up dreaming about spacesuits. The spacesuit is on our side." |

Great new OP and ED :D Loving how there seem to be more new ones recently :P Ah, so finally Hibito talks to Mutta ... after hearing both Azuma and Brian give him the same advice :P LOL at "Pretty Dog" ... well, I gotta say I think Mutta gave some good advice while staying very "Mutta"-like. I thought he was gonna tell Hibito to think "It's a piece of cake!" but thinking of Pretty Dog works too eh :P Plus the thing about being relieved and that the spacesuit's on their side ... that was really nice :') I'm confident Hibito can complete the test next episode! The nightmare at the beginning was pretty scary ... oh gosh :S Plus it seems like Butler will be announcing where everyone's going ... judging from the preview it looks like Mutta makes it ... but what about Kenji ...?! |

That ending with Hibito reversing the line when he asked the taxi driver, goes to how similar these brothers actually are. Anyway, i'm glad that he finally told Mutta about it. |

| Hibito scared me for a moment with his dream and attack afterwards in the taxi Luckily he had some bro to bro talks with Brian, Azuma and Mutta last PD abbreviation made the disorder more light comparing to the other ones Mutta had some very good advice and remarks of Hibito's taxi ride as well |
| This is one of my favorite episodes, to be honest. The beginning with Hibito's panic attack was intense, and the brother-to-brother talk felt natural. I like how Mutta managed to be inspiring without becoming overly serious. "Pretty Dog" was a good idea. |

| YAY finally he told Mutta! LOL Mutta's reaction, when he said he imagined it happening to sensitive people not happy-go-lucky Hibito XD And here I thought the title "pretty dog" would only have something to do with that ad and apo, but turns out it plays a more prominent role~ Mutta's words are so 'simple' and yet even I can feel the impact/significance (like a revelation "oh!)" when he said it. Especially that part when he said the spacesuit is on their side. SO happy to see Hibito's smile at the end, hopefully he'll do good for the test! Oh and I wonder what did the chief said to Mutta??? (this happened before the talk with Hibito at the pub right) |

| i really wanted to know what butler will tell mutta, but then came this episode, for good though. for first time maybe we see mutta's as big brother, and though i suspected he will give bad ideas, he did the work fine, especially with what he told him in the outside of the pub. really great episode, and i hope for mutta to pass it. the preview managed to confuse me as hell, but at least i know that next episode we will have answers about mutta and kenji. | That was a good episode. I liked Mutta's conclusion that the disorder then doesn't necessarily have to do with the EVA suit. |
