So the boys' journey continues with their training but there's some tense rivalries between the new recruits. Hisashi is way toooo serious imo. I'd hate to be talked down by a guy like him.

That afro hair guy caught my attention the most. But seriously, I hope Haruki's team does well. The Christmas montage though..well that's cheerful until the mood got ruined by Hisashi. I really hope the guy changes his attitude around others a bit.

This episode sure had a lot more QUALITY scenes than usual, Hisashi is annoying af, but I guess there would be some friction in the team now with so many members. It's also funny to see Chen become a member, I was kind of expecting it to happen though. The ending was hilarious, good job noodles(cake) and Chen.

Hisashi may be wayyy too serious but I kinda understand why he did what he did. Takeru instead is way too laid back IMO. I'm sure Hisashi won't have conflict with him if he can do all the stunt in one go but for someone who can't and still wants to have nice and laid back practice it will pull back the team as they only have few weeks (?) till the preliminary round. Well, I thought their conflict would have ended in the Christmas party but it's too good to be true. Hope in next week eps everyone will finally have a balance attitude towards the cheerleading club.

It seems like Hisashi is the only one who has the right attitude towards what they're doing. The boy wants to get stronger, advance in the tournament and become the champion. While others just find excuses. Maybe "Breakers" are about fun, but in order to have fun one needs to put more effort and really try hard. And I wish Kazuma stopped being so mellow. At present their team is nothing compared to others.

I actually think that Hisashi is an admirable guy trying his best to actually get to one level with Sparks. I like him.

Hisashi needs to chill. Although it's not like his serious attitude towards cheerleading isn't understandable. Still, not everyone will have the same dedication towards something, it's usually like that. You can't expect everyone to be like you. Most people do things because they want to have fun and enjoy it. Sure they don't have a training regime like Sparks, but it's not as if they're not putting effort. First of all, it's wrong to compare a team of newbies to a seasoned team like Sparks, the members are completely different people with their own ideas and level of dedication to the team. I feel for Hisashi to an extent, because it is frustrating when you're taking something seriously while the others aren't putting in as much effort as you are despite it being a team effort. However, Hisashi's condescending attitude is not good for team sport either...it's not like he's a terrible person since he is humble, but he could still use some lessons in being friendly when trying to get a point across. Yelling at people won't change anything.

4/5 in the end this was a great episode.

I felt sorry for the Christmas party, Hisashi is kinda annoying and even if he wants the team to succeed and he is putting a lot of effort, he's getting the opposite feedbacks from the team itself. The team also needs to be more focused but he's too much. We'll see how this will evolve.

Oh Jesus Sho was caught wearing another atrocious outfit this episode. xD Stahp plz! You're killing me Sho.

Hisashi needs to calm down. It was so nice how Broccoli and Saku apologized at the party (even tho Hisashi really should've been the one apologizing to Saku), but then they ended up fighting again...like c'mon.

Just realized Haru's sister's name is Haruko...are they supposed to be twins?

Mizoguchi and the cross-dressing. He truly is a creature to be protected and loved xD.

Hisashi needs to take a chill pill while Takeru needs to stop taking his, the rest of the gang just need to prioritize their training seriously, especially when they are signing up for a tournament.

Seriousness aside, God bless Mizoguchi and his adorkable wisdom!

More tension, next week, hope Haru can convince Hisashi not to quit!

i can see where hisashi is coming from, he should still chill a bit. and the others should still take it a bit more seriously i guess.

on a different note, crossdressing mizoguchi was hilarious.

Oh! That was a Steak drawing with Hiroyuki's signature on the restaurant's wall. Nice easter egg there.

You know, I'm usually all for adding more boys into a series but in this case my enjoyment has dipped since they joined. Hisashi's not even worth this effort, he looks too much like background fodder.

At least I still have Sugita's Engrish.

Although I understand Hisashi's feeling ( the other not working as hard as myself was the reason why I hated team projects at school)... You need to be carefull in the way you express your opinions! This is a team sport, if there is no teamplay you wont get anywhere...

Also Mizoguchi is pure gold! XD Damn that outfit!

Same here. Adding so many extra characters in the span of one episode killed this show for me. It's hard to care about characters you barely know anything about.

Yeah, Hisashi is way more reasonable, I actually liked him in this episode.

And goddamnit, Sho needs to study proper human fashion.
All people have their own sh*t tastes, therefore, there are no sh*t tastes, since everything is equally sh*t.

A VERY LOGICAL

The one who needs to change his attitude the most is Broccoli actually. He doesn't look like he feel sorry at all. And I think Hisashi should tell his opinion to the coach.

Hisashi is way too serious most of the time but I agree with him that the broccoli guy (Takeru?) is not taking any of this seriously. The coach told them not be late and Takeru just decides to skip practice. they aren't going to qualify if this continues.

Mizoguchi was my favourite part of the episode.
I'm not the biggest fan of characters with petty pushy drama; but a man cross dressing to bring a party? Tis a thing of beauty.

Pretty realistic, it reminds me what happens every time in my team on a FPS. We are all playing for the fun until a group of people want to become the best players, then they starts to be too serious like Hisashi. But the difference is that in my team, we were never able to calm them, so they left the team after a moment.
I hope this show will teach me how to act with people like this.
Good episode

Hisashi is so serious. I understand him though, he wants to be better than Sparks. In an Anime, there is always that one person who is severely serious about everything. I hope they can improve and at least give the better team a run for their money.

Mizogushi is a Japanese national treasure. He knew how to spice up that female-less party. The guys taking out their phones and snapping pictures of him was priceless.

I have not liked the last 2 episodes. These new people are awful. They should have just stuck with the 7 main guys. Flesh out their story some more.

It looks like they're going to try to keep the lazy and serious guy. I'm not looking forward to the next episode. Please leave the team so we can move on to something else.

I get some of Hisashi's points. Some people on the team were definitelly not taking things as seriously as they should.

But he's way too anoying. If he only had this point I would totally be on his side. But he gets mad at people for having to leave to get to their jobs. To students who are late because the teacher hold them back to talk after class. He even made the pink haired small dude cry even when the dude proved he was actually training and getting better.

The brocolli headed dude also needs to stop being like that as well.

Unpopular opinion IMO if you're going to do a team sport and you're not going to commit 100% when everyone knows if you don't get the points the ENTIRE team's goal of getting to nationals will go up in smoke.

So the lazy ones are actually wasting everyone else's time. Sad to say but I agree with Hisashi.

It's honestly better to field a smaller team of committed individuals than let 1 lazy guy ruin everything for everyone.

The team is "nice" and naive, only those who have been to regionals or nationals get this.

Hisashi is basically "hard carrying" those slackers, and the team shouldn't have to.

Hisashi is 100% committed and giving 100%, the rest are under 80% at best. He's the only one actually doing the diet in addition to strength, flexibility, endurance and TEAM training. At this rate they're going to fail unless a miracle happens. 50% of the competition is mental and won or lost before the team takes the stage. They haven't even figured out basic shit like the pyramid because they can't all be at practice at the same time. FAIL!

None of these boys have the mental fortitude, not even the captain. I'm guessing Squirrel guy knows but isn't speaking up.

If someone wants to just do this for fun they should carry bottles/towels and let the serious athletes train to compete and win, because right now there isn't enough guys to make a 2nd string team for those who can't make the cut. The coach should have devised at least 3 routines that they can switch with in case of accident, injury or guys just can't get the stunts or can't make the cut. This should be standard practice if they don't have extra stand ins.

Sorry I used to do cheerleading and the attitude of the broccoli guy just makes my blood boil. Non serious lazy people like him are the most likely to drop someone else, causing temporary or permanent injury. Cheerleading is no joke, it's dangerous. People should be serious and give 100% if they expect their team mates to trust them. As a former flyer I wouldn't trust that base.

However, Mizoguchi I would give a free pass to. That dude is SMART as hell and him, I trust to do the right thing.
