Well, I never searched for confirmations, but after the events of the Second Season, there is not so much left in the manga. I think the name of this season (Karasuno vs Shiratorizawa) actually speaks for itself :) Moreover, the final match has 5 sets and is pretty long. And epic, of course! |

If the season is called "Karasuno vs Shiratorizawa" it pretty much means that this is the only thing going on, and that is a long match. Also, at the Finals teams are up to a 5-set match (instead of a usual 3-set). Those are simple facts. |

I'm pretty sure it's a direct third season, especially since Karasuno is supposed to be facing Shiratorizawa next anyway. |
