It was revealed by Warner Bros Anime that Kishibe Rohan wa Ugokanai will be receiving an OVA. The OVA will only be available for those who purchase all 13 BD/DVD volumes of the TV anime adaptation for JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken Diamond wa Kudakenai.

There will be 13 BD/DVD disc volumes, with the first set to be shipped in Japan on June 22. The 13th volume is scheduled to be shipped in Japan on June 28, 2017.

The series is written by Hirohiko Araki and is a selection of one-shots starring Rohan Kishibe, an eccentric mangaka with the ability to read people's memories by using an ability called "Heaven's Door."

Great news.

This makes me wonder if we will actually get a Purple Haze OVA should they ever adapt Vento Aureo.

"Gureto desu yo, koitsu wa!"

People were guessing that the spin-off might get an OVA. Glad it did!

Wait... How are people supposed to watch this?

Would you have to send the BD receipts to Warner Bros JP or something to redeem the ova or are we just getting little shorts with each BD release?

I hope this will still be subbed because I don't really understand how this is being released.

I really really really hope we get a Dead Man's Q OVA. Maybe in the final DIU disk set?

I suppose we'll really have to wait until next year around June when someone officially buys all the BDs and uploads it. Hope it will be worth the hype. I haven't read this before but it sounds interesting.

And to clarify, all the volume sets must be bought, not any of the random ones.

Well that's interesting, I never would've imagined that this little side-story would get an OVA, I was hoping that they could've addapted some of the novels into OVA or movies but that works too I guess, the more JoJo the better

If you calculate you will find that jojo4 will have 39 episodes that worries me a little bit
Remember that part 3 got (4 cours ) while having less chapter than part 4

Well at least by then I'll probably be done with JoJo.

Actually Japanese dvd usually only have 2 episodes per DVD.

Sometimes multiple cour shows will have 3 episodes per disc, which is what Stardust Crusaders had for its BDs. Assuming this follows the same pattern, then the 39 episodes theory is true.

If am not wrong, Japanese DVD have only 2 episodes per DVD, which makes it 26 episode and I believe this is the count of the 1st season only, remember the 3rd part didn't have 4 cours but 2 for each of the 2 seasons since it was divided into 2 seasons which means part 4 will definitely get it's 2nd season with another 13 BD/DVD for sure.

True, and even I fear what your probably fearing, however there's hope of course, I checked just a few minutes ago how much BD disks JoJo 3 got for it's 1st season only and I found that it got 15 and that's 2 more than what 4 is getting and that's only the 1st season, 9 were 3 episodes per BD edition, while 6 were 4 episodes per BD edition, so there's hope, I don't why 4 is getting 2 less but will know at the end of the summer season for sure, also I doubt that they will not adapt it completely or drop it half way, also, if you remember the very 1st OP showed a hint of their intentions and plans of adapting the 1st 6 parts or maybe all parts, so I doubt they will drop it half way, put in mind that that 39 episodes anime is not common at all.
