Oh that bastard Yashiro is back. :O So he's been waiting Satoru to wake up to spice up his sick life. Well...Fuck you! You better not attack on the little girl you sick bastard. D:< Nice seeing Kenya and Satoru talking like in childhood days. He has friends now. Also this chapter proves Sachiko is the best character yet again. <3 |

Yashiro's post timeskip look makes him look far more malicious than the friendly teacher he once was. The fact Satoru remembered Airi from the keychain shows his memories are slowly coming back, bit by bit. Great chapter, what dedication Satoru's mom had to keep her son alive. |

LOL FML THIS CHAPTER WAS SO AMAZING GOD BLESS THIS MANGA OMG !!!!! that like transition between the mom and the teacher was ON POINT! I hate that kenya suggested it was just a dream.... esp since kenya always knew that something was up when they were younger. can't wait for the final showdown and for satoru to regain all his memories, that's gonna be EPIC |

Welp, Yashiro-sensei is such a stalker... and with that point of view.. is he in love with the MC? that's so creepy... but according to his pov, does it mean that he hasn't killed anyone after that?. suzyl333 said: I hate that kenya suggested it was just a dream.... i think he just answered logically,he find it hard to believe that MC has some kind of time travelling power.. there's nothing to hate with his suggestion. |

This manga is too good. Still sad about Kayo being pushed to a side character tho. :/ |

Reading through the manga, thinking oh wow mum, you're getting a bit excessive. And then I see Gaku's face. Welp. I did not realise that Spice was the name of sensei's hamster. Nice catch, or I'm just bad. |

About the comparison Yashiro made with his hamster. I guess there is another series of murders incoming. Back in highschool, he tossed his hamsters in a glass of water, and Spice was the one who survived. So assuming Satorou is the hamster that survives, there have to be some other hamsters that die in his place. This could very well be the people who are researching his case (Kenya, his mom, the television guy). |

A lot of people are saying that the manga has a lot more left or they're having another arc but I don't think this is the case. I recall reading somewhere that the anime would cover the ending of the series. This leads me to believe that there are at least one or two chapters left in the series. Considering how the chapters come out early in the month, I get the feeling that the manga will end slightly before the anime. |

Why did the story have to spend like 90% of it's time focusing on Kayo then? They literally spend like...idk..5 chapters on Airi and now she's gonna most likely be the main heroine of the manga when Kayo has been the main focus for like 30 chapters. I think I have the right to be mad. I still love the manga regardless but damn it there's just that one flaw. |

Now that Satoru finally succeeded in helping her live the happy life she deserves it's time to move on. The story is no longer about saving her, Satoru's mom, Yuki, or anyone else really. It's about dealing with Gaku now and I'm not sure where you think Kayo should fit into the equation. And the series is almost over too. the spotlight for just 30 out of 40ish chapters isn't so bad. |

Kayo is now a side character like she should have been the whole time. #nohate Kenya should have been been considered as one too at least. I know she was the focus of the story. But I feel llke she only seemed to be there to draw the attention or something like that according to the reaction people got in the last few chaoters lol. Now no one is going to care about One Punch Airi. ; ( I wonder where the hell is Osamu? I havent seen him yet in 2004. And who's this Nishizono? |

Airi : chapter 1-5, chapter 14-18 → 10 chapters → about 42% of the manga until Kayo's case is solved. Kayo's case is focused until chapter 24 and there are 10 chapters Satoru being in 2006 which means she is the main focus in 14 chapters → about 58% of the manga until her case is solved and about 32% of the whole manga, not 90% like you said. Edit : Satoru is still in 2006 in almost chapter 6 so Kayo is actually focused in about 54% of the manga until her case is solved and about 30% of the whole manga. Maybe your bias made you pay less notice for Airi's existence I guess? |

Kayo and Satoru had many journeys together, etc I don't need to get into details cuz it's obvious. What do we know about Airi in the time she has been in the manga? We know she works at a pizza place, her parents divorced over chocolate, and she said like 2 meaningful lines (don't quote me on this) to Satoru. So I guess the stuff Airi said and divorce over chocolate is more impactful than going through an intense journey with Kayo? Maybe I'm biased, but I can't find any reason to think Kayo is less important than Airi or any reason to think that Kayo suddenly becoming a side character in favor of Airi is a good thing |

I just hate the sudden change in Kayo's character. She is the LAST person I would expect to move on just like that after Satoru, her knight in shining armor, had a glimmer of hope to live. I expected her type of character to stay by Satoru's side through the entire coma. You're telling me that Kayo, the antisocial girl who pretty much wanted to kill herself, just decided to give up on the person who saved her from the hell she was going through? Kayo would be the FIRST person I would expect to do what Satoru's mom did, which was pretty much sacrificing her whole life to take care of Satoru while he was in a coma. I mean, the least Kayo could do is that. For all Kayo knows, she could be getting tortured the rest of her life (Of course she's supposed to die, but Kayo doesn't know that). Anyways, rant done. I still love the manga but I just can't stomach Kayo being so, SO important, to suddenly a side character that doesn't even matter anymore. I'm done |

As for Airi, I guess you're not interested in her so all you was impressed about her was the chocolate bar stuff. (I saw bokumachi's anime viewers bitching about the chocolate bar like it was a ridiculous divorce reason without knowing a single thing about Japan's law and its culture. Stealing is a serious crime in Japan and if you're an adult you'll have to pay for ~200.000¥ penalty no matter how cheap the thing you steal is. And even if you had to pay for what you'd done, it'll be hard for the society around you to accept you again. It's Japan after all) I noticed Airi from the begin of the manga, so yes my impression about her is different from you. After witnessing Satoru risking his life to save a kid, she started getting close to Satoru. Like trying to take a conversation with him, following him and end up being dragged to one of his Revival. The way she risked her life to save a kid like Satoru did was awesome and this made me thought her as a good girl. After that, Airi started calling herself "Airi" instead of "I" which made her look cuter in front of Satoru. She even made a joke asked Satoru if he was a shinigami. I noticed her all the time, so I knew she always wanted to be friendly with Satoru, like agreeing to eat curry at his place so easily and helping his mom out. Like when Satoru was about leaving the pizza shop she guessed if he ate curry in the morning and asked if she could come to eat curry again. I like how Airi waved her hand called "fujinuma-san" wherever she saw him, how she wanted to believe in him, how she helped him out even though she became the culprit's target. If Satoru is Kayo's "hero" then I believe Airi is one of his "heros". P/S: This is my impression about Airi so no need to argue about her importance in the manga. |

I won't lie though, I thought Kayo and Satoru would be the OTP while Airi will just aide in the case. I have moved on, since that chapter with Kayo and the kid in her arms (after 1 day I was over it) because I know the author has something good in store for us either way. "the author has something good for us either way" I dunno if you have gone through the penultimate chapter, but looks like no. Unless he does something hell dramatic last chapter. |
