About my rankings if anyone actually cares:
<6 = I don't want to talk about it
7 = Worth watching
8 = Pretty good
9 = Great
10 = I loved it

Which is how other people seem to rank on this site so I shall follow the status quo.

If you wonder why my ratings are never particularly low, I feel that anything that actually caught my attention and convinced me to finish watching it should be given at least a moderate score.
And anything that I dropped, should not be scored.

The anime is a surprisingly faithful adaptation. It's just somewhat rushed, as it lacks some of the details and direction in the story. So you can start reading it from volume 4 of the light novels, however there's only 5 translated volumes available right now. So it may just be best to start reading the web novels instead, since those are further ahead and the main difference is that the light novels flesh out certain side characters that the web novels neglected.

Someone who isn't new to reading light novels, should definitely consider checking out the Isekai wa Smartphone light / web novels.
