| I have to admit to have been ever so slightly worried about the focus switching to Fujinuma as a child with all his friends and stuff, but I think the show handled it very well. Kenya definitely seems way too perceptive for a typical 10 year old (and what's with that name?) and that makes me slightly wary of him. Now, I'm not going to go as far as suggesting he may be the killer, especially not based on the eyes (I'd be surprised if that wasn't just a red herring, pun intended, to thow us off the scent), but his awareness does seem quite strange, at least until we know more about him. Kayo's bizarre behaviour, given that abuse scene and her essay and all the other minor hints sprinkled here and there, makes much more sense. At this point I can't help but wonder if the abuse factored into her death or not. Oh, and Satoru's internal monologues (especially that last long when Kayo touches his hands) were hilarious, even more so when he spoke them aloud. Also, loving the OP song and animation and the ED is pretty good as well. |

| I can't even express how much this anime made me love it in just two episodes :lol: From the amazing cinematography, the superb art , perfect VA to the really interesting and atmospheric plot, this show managed to capture me like no other this season. I usually get like this with 1 or 2 animes each year [ Last years was Death Parade and Rokka no Yuusha. Hearing Fremy again, is a bonus]. I really hope that the'll keep this quality for all the 12 episodes and not screw up, because this might very well be a AOTY contender if it will be constant. |

| Don't think the OP suits the show really and ED is channelling Shaft. I actually thought this episode was better than the first. It's certainly got my attention. I have a feeling this show will go to some pretty dark places in coming weeks |
| Reminded me of Conan quite a bit, which I liked actually. Not a huge fan of the opening, but that's whatever. I'm really liking this so far. | Best anime of season (so far), if not counting Osamatsu-san and Shouwa AKG songs are all the same lol they have recognizable style... Kayo is so dreamy and that hamburger scene is so moving... |

| I'm loving this anime so much. I'm having so many theories in my head but I will just wait for next week to not ruin my experience. Beautiful episode and both Op & Ed are nice. Asian Kung-Fu Generation is awesome. |

| It still makes me feel weird that he is living now with people who are actually dead.. And that 'cinema' screen looks so fitting here.. Actually , I had a feeling that Kenya could also be somehow from future , or that he at least suspects something about him , but that probably sounds pretty dumb :l And what's next? Let's say he 'saves' the future , so then he has to live again those 18 years to reach the time when he revived into childhood? Cuz i don't think he can revert to future.. Plus his mother would be dead then. Also i hope story won't leave the man who killed Satoru's mom in the "future" behind the scenes.. About music , I really enjoyed the Opening song. About ending , I am neutral. |

| I'm really glad it's got this calm atmosphere. The fact that it's in winter certainly helps A LOT. This is kinda what I expected the anime would be like when I first heard about it, rather than all the dramatic things that happened in the first episode (but that was the prologue to kick things off essentially, so it makes sense). |
| Could very well imagine that he is not the only one who reversed time. That blonde kid with the red eyes (thanks for pointing that out guys) was acting more than suspicious and then the girl talking about 'fakers' and something similar to what the girl from the future said. |

| hope this show has a steins gate choice where everyone is alive and happy but i dont see it happening at all... child abuse is tough parents are supposed to love and nourture a child no excuse to lay a hand on a child all that does is reflect how terrible a parent you are and your failure as a human being but i digress, anyway amazing show. |

| Anime of the season for me so far. OP is an oldie but they reperformed it so its fresh still. ED was good too. I hope I was fake spoiled by accident. |
| Nice episode, pretty decent opening. I liked how the older VA for mc still plays a large roll (I liked his VA, fit his character nicely). Been trying to pay close attention to every detail, I'm hoping there's tons of hidden clues that will start tieing together as the story progresses. Overall no complaints, really looking forward to future episodes. 5/5 |

"you are 29, no need to be embarassed" lol really wonder where this will go. its pretty much impossible for him get back to the present after saving her since everything will change i have the bad feeling that he won't be able to save either but will arrive in the present with the identity of the murderer to solve the crime |
| Another awesome anime, really digging how its going so far. People should stop overhyping it though. Might stay this awesome but we've been here far too many times with this happening and then the anime shitting itself like Gangsta last year. |
| I liked this episode a lot, even though there wasn't much action. I was getting the feels when he saw his childhood home again, and the look on his face when his mom came home. Kayo ;-; Abuse is horrible, the scene where we saw her mother kicking her almost made me flinch. I have to say it would be a really good, albeit heartbreaking, twist if he actually didn't manage to save her, but I really hope he does because dear god the kid deserves better. |

| the first 2 episodes were really amazing already. I just hope they don't screw it up but this could really be one of the best animes if not the best anime this year if it continues to go like that. For me it is at least right now though everyone has different tastes, of course. But I really can't wait for the next episode >-< |

| At first I was scared for the pacing because the first episode covered a whole 6 chapters but now that I watched this episode I'm loving it. The way they smoothly transitioned from the classroom to the scene with Kayo was just spot on, shows that they won't have a problem with making it feel choppy. As a manga reader, I love how they decided to make the view narrower like a movie strip and how they decided to handle Satoru's slip of the tongue. My only concern is where they would end this season as the manga is still ongoing but I trust that this director can make it work judging by these last few episodes. 5/5 Loving it |

| Beautiful. Just Beautiful. The switch to 1988 and the differences in how they speak as kids compared to adults was accentuated really well. I love the old-school vibe here, and the way they managed to portray how kids of that age act was wonderfully detailed. Also love how the contrast between his 29 year old monologues contrast with the external voice which they give him. I feel like I'm watching Hachiman all over again, albeit this one with way more serious undertones. It was fun to see when his monologues overlapped with his young self's lack of control in spilling his thoughts out verbally, I love the way they portrayed that. Even with the switch of the era, I still have a good feeling about this. I'm still pegging this for AOTS. I cannot wait to see more of what happens afterwards, and hopefully this time round he'll save the world and get the girl. XD |

| Nice to have a good anime now and again. So many shows are so bad and anime like this makes that so much more obvious. Easily one of the top 3 first cour of the season. Now lets hope they don't screw it up. On another note, having to do school all over again would be grueling. |

| This is getting very interesting and I was relieved that he got accustomed to the time travel pretty quickly, I worried that they'd spend the first part of Satory trying to fit in. looks like Kenya suspects something, judging by his consistent starings at Satorus behaviour. AOTS im calling it |

| There wasn't a lot of action, more feels but I still liked it. I loved the OP and ED <3 By the way that Kayo was acting I think she's a reincarnation of the girl that Satoru works with and maybe she time traveled to the past like Satoru but instead of him saving her, she's saving him. I love time travel anime because I can make weird predictions that may happen xD I can't wait for the next episode!! |

| Great story. It kind of reminds me of Detective Conan (Case Closed) because the main lead is a child with an adult mind hanging out with kids. The psychological aspect of this show is what i like the most, The feeling of nostalgia when Satoru is having dinner with his mother gave me gooosebumps and also when he talked to Hinazuki. ED was pretty good and i liked the visuals. |
