| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Wow, Sakura is popular as hell this episode getting attention from spirits, getting flower gifts, etc. Episode was okay. Almost every one got some spotlight although Ageha continues to show affections towards Rinne like usual. Oh and I think she looks a bit silly:  I also thought it was kinda neat to see more of her past again. |

| First time seeing the girl's mother... green hair? Many souls and she asked Rinne about it. lol @ Rinne trying to get them out. Renewing salt chronicle, huh. Wow, so expensive. (Yup, I do remember this story from the manga after watching it) Masato and Kain again next. |

| I just realized that Sakura's mom is a reference to Lum from Urusei Yatura. I mean, green hair, a yellow/brown striped apron and Fumi Hirano providing her voice. I'm convinced, Brains Base. |
| This episode started pretty promising but once again devolved into the same stupid crap. I don't give a damn about these characters' stupid attempts at romance, especially when it's as annoying as this and at the expense of any kind of interesting stuff happening in this show. Just get on with the goddamn plot already and, when you do, don't run away from actually making progress in favour of this stupid stagnation. |

| Funny episode, but I wish Tsubasa and Ageha weren't in it. They need to mind their own business and quit interfering xD I kinda hope they get together though =O (Tsubasa and Ageha) The packet of sand looked like a condom That was one expensive hourglass! Too bad Ageha broke the one she had for so long though. Rinne skipping through floating flowers was so funny xD I can't believe there's only 5 episodes left! |

| Mediocre episode, as is common with this show. I'm not a fan of the humor and Rinne and Sakura annoy me. Sakura feels very one-dimensional and adds almost nothing to the show. Rinne bothers me because of how he always calls Sakura by her first name and likes someone as boring as her when he could easily get with Ageha. Jumonji is more deserving of her anyway. He should give up on Sakura and take Ageha! XD |

They will continue releasing random episodes. As many have already mentioned, Kyoukai no Rinne is an episodic series, not a plot-based one so the remaining number of eps doesn't really matter. |

| So, I'm not gonna say anything about the episode, because I'm speechless everytime I watch Rinne, but anyone noticed Ranma reference? The duck guy and Ukyo sitting next to each other. They are similar :v |

That green hair and that tiger-striped apron. They didn't even try to hide it. Sakura's mom is an obvious reference to Lum from Urusei Yatsura, Rumiko Takahashi's first series!  And the fact that she's voiced by Lum's OG seiyuu Fumi Hirano makes it all the better. So if her husband was voiced by Toshio Furukawa, would that mean Sakura is the daughter of Ataru and Lum? It'd be great if they were. Sadly, this might be the closest we'll get to seeing Lum as a mom. Aside from fanfiction of course. I wonder if Sakura's mom looked like this in the manga too? Or was it a change made by the studio to pay tribute to the original waifu? Also noticed Mousse in the class. But I didn't realize the girl sitting next to him was supposed to be Ukyo lol. This episode was fun. Jumonji and Ageha got in the way of Rinne and Sakura. And they cost him over 20k yen. But I feel like if he didn't kick them out, it probably wouldn't have turned out this way. |
