 It was announced by Sega at an event in Okinawa and posted on its official website that online RPG game Phantasy Star Online 2 will receive a TV anime adaptation. It will feature an original story that takes place on Earth in the near future.Phantasy Star Online 2 is the direct sequel of the original series that was published by Sega. The game was released for Microsoft Windows on July 4, 2012 and for PlayStation Vita on February 28, 2013. | Wow. This game? I remembered I downloaded this game (took like 2 hours to download), created a character, played the tutorial, then reached some sort of base area. Then when I wanted to create another character (because I dislike my first character), I can't do it for free, and cannot delete my first character. So I quit the game and uninstalled it. Will watch it for the story. |

There are 8 classes iirc (but actually it's only consisted of melee swordsman,gunner and magician with some specialized classes) and 4 different races. |

| R.I.P. Phantasy Online 2 Fans. it will be a complete butchered adaptation and it will get a lot of criticism and hate. All video games does not deserve to get anime adaptation. If Elsword gets anime adaptation then it will be the worst video game to anime adaptation in History, just because the story on the game is a huge mess with recycled plot and it is filled with battle shounen tropes and fanservice. |

| Needs more Marlu. Though I guess animating an orginal story was expected though since the story EPISODE 1, 2, and 3 are already "animated" in the game. There's also going to be a Blaze Blue, Neptunia, and Sega Hard Girls collab for ingame accessories in August. |
