I still find Rinne/Jumonji's rivalry to be pretty amusing to watch. School just got even more chaotic lol. I'm not sure I like this kid though, seems more like the bratty type:  |

| Introducing how Shinigami works with how much money they can gain with those souls, and scythe finally. Even though I read this in manga, it is still interesting to add Japan school's popular scary story's character, Hanako of toilet in the story, though a bit different. She has grudge on Tsubasa for trying to purify her. That evil power is from that evil soul with price. Huge price (like borrowing huge money) by borrowing evil power, though. Tsubasa, after hearing what Rinne said after investigating, realized real enemy and "helps" him out by protecting Hanako. Is this popular enough to have rerun time (just saw ep.1-5 rerun notice)? |

| This show somehow manages to get more and more enjoyable with every episode. Maybe it's just growing on me... :o Still, the deadpan-style humor can so be hilarious as usual~! |

| That was probably the best episode so far. For once,it's a ghost story that I've actually heard several variations of in real life. It really was far easier to immerse myself in the story of the episode when the ghost story involved is one that I am very familiar with. It also helps that it was executed very well, which helped make the story even better. |

| Weird episode; below average. Tsubasa is useless. Great to have the scythe back. Rinne's never going to be financially stable. I wonder who posts (and pays for) the wanted spirits? |
| The Toichi spirit lending out evil powers like that. This was a nice, simple story! Showing how friendly Hanako was, hinting how she only wanted to make friends gave this episode a warm feeling. The scythe being only 5k yen seems really cheap! And also with it being a much better long-term investment too. That purification being all pink and bubbly like that. |

| Good episode about one of the most common japanese ghost story. I liked how Rokudou finally get something of his own back and how he acted pretty cool (but Tsubasa did too). The only thing that was kinda odd was how they managed to relieve her of her regret - if she haunted those toilets even before Juumonji drew her out of there she had to have another regret of her own, right? But they didn't deal with that. |

| When it showed a flashback of the restroom door opening to Hanako with her hand reaching out and a smile on her face and a blush...it seemed like she only wanted to make friends...that and the ep ending with a handprint in the restroom wall made me cry. Idk why...just did. She left something behind....she didn't want to be forgotten. This episode and the previous were both heartwarming. |

| The story of "Hanako-san of the Toilet" has a number of variations and this show obviously characterized her as a benign ghost, rather than sinister or mischievous, which was actually handled well. Wonder if we'll see any more ghosts from Japanese urban legend. The fight was alright, but Tsubasa's "Bible Corner Crush" was pretty damn hilarious! How does that even require much stamina? Nice to see Hanako passing on to the other after forgiving Tsubasa. She was quite likable. Since the Hanako shown here has a rather friendly nature, I'm assuming her backstory wasn't related to the one from the WWII bombing or the bullying incident but the mysterious one where she accidentally fell out of the window of the school library. How she ended up in the bathroom stall doesn't make much sense (blame the Japanese legend for not providing a clear backstory) but that's the most plausible route I can think of, at least for this show. Still can't get by the fact that Rokudou has to purchase/borrow Shinigami tools with real money to exorcise spirits, when they should be just there for him to make use of. This is one of my biggest gripes about the show. Decent episode nonetheless. Monster cat case next week should be another entertaining one. |

The Scythe was his to begin with probably given to him as a family heirloom, he pawned it because he needed money for other expenses. He's basically a private contractor paying a debt for his grandmother's choices. He's not a Shinigami designated by the Gods. I can't believe I'm explaining this. lol. It's not the "things cost money" that's supposed to be funny. It's the situations that happen because he didn't have proper tools that are funny. Now that he was a weapon and the 100,000 was used to pay off some of his debt. The focus of the show can adapt a little. |

| The OP sounds even better with subs, great lyrics. Rokodou: "This is girl's tower." Tsubasa: "Like you are the one to talk!" that was a good one, reminded me of the bathroom "girl" talk from Gekkan xD Sakura: "He looks a bit like odango." lol that's what you care about? xD lmao that bible attack, seems like Tsukasa is a little chuuni. I mean those attack names like Bible Corner Crush xD This is bad, I have suddenly started to really like this anime. That makes it two great episodes in a row. |

| Ahhh, a toilet spirit, such a classic. Rinne finally have a worthy weapon! Even though, from the preview, it doesn't look like it last long... I king of feel bad for Juumonji. | Tsubasa made Hanako-san lose her toilet, that's sad but he saved her in the end with that amazing Bible Corner Crush attack. Lol, all that money went to pay some of his debt. |

| Toilet-bound Hanako-san? I think she's a popular Japanese children's horror story character. But probably not as popular nowadays. Rinne made that sweet 100k and it immediately got collected by the debt collector. Pretty sad. I thought this episode was gonna end with him not getting any reward or something. What happened was pretty similar though. Does that mean the Shinigamis of that world take cash? Ngl that Bible Corner Crush technique caught me way off-guard. At least Jumonji realized his mistake and apologized to Hanako. Rinne got a sweet scythe. This means there will be more action in later episodes, right? |
