Man I missed the OP (already in love?) so good!

"Moe" lmao

Man I loved that classic 'fangirls call the main heroine out', it was sort of refreshing.

Be wary Erika, Kimura gives off a danger aura to me.

The excalibur and b- whatever weapon scene was hilarious xD

That bullying scene I can't hold my laughter pfffft

Erika really has some bad friends.

The heck. Did he just break her phone?

See. Kimura really was just pretending to be nice.

If it was me, I would pick up the bottle before walking away, it's not nice to waste food stuff jk

Don't fall for him already... I would rather have them wait at least 6 episodes.

And the ED is super-cool too.

So much shoujo.. I knew Kimura would be a bad guy lol. Our prince has a kind heart, glad to see him punch this loser. I still wish our wolf would get new friends, these friends she have aren't that great...
OP is growing on me, I wonder how long they will drag on this "I wonder if I like him" phase of the shoujo.
I would like to see her acknowledge her love for the prince early.

nice episode...I would totally love to date her...she's so innocent (referring to how you can move bit by bit your relationship, not the short-cut type, cut to the chase to bing-bang-boots, if u know what i mean)...I'd love to have a gf like her, which you can take a relationship slowly...but for bastards like this dude who got punch...he's a total douche...and prince charming Satan , ehem I mean Sata saves the day xD

There are just so many shoujo cliches that they can take for a twist. I'm really enjoying this at times, but at other times it makes me feel a little....well, queasy perhaps.... The breaking of the cellphone for instance I would normally say is a pretty good sign that it is time to walk away from a relationship--yet later on in this episode he behaves in a way that makes you excuse that behaviour. I guess the saving grace is that at this point neither one of them thinks this is a real relationship, so his actions are basically those of a jerk who wants to teach her a lesson--rather than the warning signs of a dangerously over-possessive boyfriend.

+1. I'd seriously lose my shit if someone broke my phone, that's not okay. I hate the idea of excusing his behaviors too.

This is gonna sound really picky but when I see really really flat out appalling situations rubbed off in RC's it kind of takes me out of the whole experience. The breaking of the phone was that to me, I mean seriously, every single girl I know would have AT LEAST slapped the guy in the face.

Anyways aside from that this was a pretty good episode. I totally fell for it. I thought she had really found someone that liked her so that final reveal really made me extremely sad for her :( Also made the part where Kyouya dropped his ass to the ground all the more satisfying. (Although that DEFINITELY doesn't justify the phone breaking lol)

Overall still having a good time watching this anime. Hopefully those really cringeworthy borderline unrealistic moments won't become a norm.

Even with the immense use of shoujo tropes and cliches, I'm still enjoying this show so far. However, it makes me wish that Heroine Shikkaku had an anime instead because it does shoujo cliches a lot better and is stronger in comedy. I'm just hoping that this season ends with at least some development on Sata's part.

I've always felt that cellphone breaking incident was over-the-top, but Erica's reaction makes it seemed like it wasn't that much of a serious matter. Maybe she's just extremely M. Anyway, I'm pretty sure people have noticed the amount of sparkly stuff flying around, idk why but it makes me feel weird, maybe I'll get use to it. >.>

I can't help but feel bad for Erika, not because she is stuck with a sadistic bastard, but simply for the fact she feels some form of pressure to fit in with two people who possibly have a much more toxic personality than Kyouya

Other than that, Kyouya forcing Erika to go fetch out of spite was hilarious. The irritated expression when he notices she was laughing to herself was wonderful

Had a sneaky feeling that new guy was too good to be true. Burst out laughing after he revealed his plan to get revenge on Kyouya. To invest so much effort into getting Erika's attention was borderline creepy, i remember one cheesy piece of dialogue with Erika, made him come across as a stalker.

Fun episode overall, i'm always looking forward to Kyouya scolding Erika. Good fun all round

Erika got such a bad luck ever since she start that highschool,
and Yoshito were only pretending to be nice the whole time just to get back
on Sata, after she find out he is starting to insult her he deserve
lot more then a punch.

Marin and Aki is so annoying all they do is talk about there boyfriends
all day long, my guess they also fake it.

and Sata taking this dog stuff quite serious :)

Haha, Kyouya was blackmailing Erika that he'll drop the boyfriend act if she doesn't hold the umbrella towards him more.

So Erika is a masochist and Kyouya is a sadist of course... now it all makes sense XD.

Kyouya's rival has just appeared :o

Poochie fetch!

The fangirls just attacked Erika in full force lol.

Erika Y U CHEAT?!

LOL, I was freaking sure something was wrong with Kimura, it seems like I was spot on.

Holy crap... the punch of justice was thrown by Kyouya! I really like Kyouya for some odd reason XD.

Such a nice ending T.T

simply no! She also does not like it.. I just do not understand why she has to pretend to have a boyfriend anyway and to have these friends, who do not like her the way she is...There is just not an actual reason for that. That is the only problem. Because no one should have to pretend something like this and not with someone like this.

They don't even know if they like the "Real Erika" just because she never gave them a chance. She saw them and thought how cool they looked. They only talked about their boyfrienss so..."what I'm going to do to fit in with those two"??? "Ofc get a boyfriend".
She's just a childish girl wanting to fit in with the popular girls. I myself don't understand that because I was never one to look for popular people as friends but I guess a lot of people can relate to this situation.

Nope, most certainly not. Nobody likes being treated like crap but how you may tolerate it will depend on social culture

Society from the Western culture would generally not put up with that kind of attitude, so therefore friends or family would not hesitate to call Kyouya out for his poor behaviour

Also humans (gender doesn't matter) have a tendency to love to be dictated by someone having stronger power and/or authority, which is a commonly observed instinct of social animals. The leader can be not a human, for instance an organization or even can be incorporeal supreme being such as God. No kidding.

This show is just a romantic comedy with some twist and you don't have to worry about their relationship. I'm happy to watch it with relaxed feeling, too. But if it were an actual case, it could escalate a serious matter of domestic violence. If I remember it correctly, domestic violence is not a local problem only in Japan but also a general issue in the Western culture.

See also, "Domestic violence" or " Intimate partner violence"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domestic_violence

Conclusion: It may be an easily acceptable answer to assume some strange thing is a result comes from their cultural background, saying "we are different from them." But, that kind of acceptable reasoning is not always the correct answer but rather a denial to accept the fact.

Goodness, didn't take long to become super average. Is there no more originality in shoujo stories nowadays? that was cliche to the max. If Ao Haru Ride was disgustingly overdone, this one didn't even try. At least Usui from Maid-sama was clear with his romantic intention towards Misaki, Sata was just plain mean and of course the girl still went doki doki *face palm*
