| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Turns out to be a good starting episode imo. Quite alot of lol moments, especially that car accident. And that was Capella standing behind when Birdy was doing the 'You're under arrest' shots right? I like the OP song, though the Op animation could have been better. ED was weird but i'm lovin it, lol. Looking forward to next episode. |

| Well i loved the episode, i thought it was a great start to the new season, I'm looking forward to watching the rest of the series. I want to see how the relationship between Birdy and Tsutomu develop during the rest of the season, should be interesting |

| Pretty good episode. This and Zoku Natsume show how to come back after a break. Just jump into the action of the story. The quality of animation seems to have dropped a little bit, though, everything seems much heavier than it was in the first season. |
| Very good episode indeed, with a nice mix of comedy and SF. We're resuming right where the first season left, but it still has nothing to do with the first OVA series by Kawajiri, I guess the two are completely separated anyway (no Nakasugi, no Nataru, no Ryunka in Tetsuwan Birdy for example, and Hayamiya is Tsutomu's love interest, which still doesn't seem to be the case in the second season of Decode). |

| The ending is once again strange.. This time, the living organism toy Birdy is playing reminds me of Kopin from Luminous Arc. Of course, this one isn't a daikon from the looks of it, but there is still some resemblances. |

It was bugging the shit out of me when she was standing there during the photo shoot and no one seemed to notice or care (then again I can't remember her actually having any direct contact with Birdy in the first season, so go figure). Anyways looks to be a good start and set-up for the rest of the season, hopefully it'll be more consistent than the first. |
| Better but it can't get much worse than last season. OP and ED are awesome. I was going to complain that the Galactic Police was one of the most incompetent police forces ever by only using Birdy to capture like half a dozen high profile fugitives but it seems they sent another one who is more like an assassin. It also seems we are going to get more background info on Birdy through her childhood friend(although he probably will be involved in events adding more angst for her). The music playing when she met him though was way way overkill. |

| Pretty decent start of the second season, the ending was the post interesting though especially with that new character that seemed to be a childhood friend or something similar! Lets see what this season has to offer! The ED is briliant! |

| Lmao ofcourse the 2 doofuses are making an appearance in the sequel. Seems Birdy met her childhood friend on Earth! Interesting start, I just hope it'll stay that way, S1 unfortunately didn't. |

| Dammit Tsutomu, just because you already died two times doesn't mean you have to jump in front of a car for a third time. Seeing those two dudes care about Tsutomu health, I really feel bad for all the times their car got destroyed. Interesting start, looking forward to this new plot. |
