LOL, this episode was funny to me.

Fucking lobster.
The festival looked like fun to me though. I wish I was there...

All the girls looks cute too imo. Did Yura go into SEED mode? lolol

Relaxing yet boring episode. Watching the ending of the last episode, I had expected some intense conflict between Yura and Sonora this time, but they were friendly as always except for one slight moment. That imagination of gun fight reminded me of the Quick and the Dead.

Cosplay, cross-dressers and water gun boob shots - didn't expect the school festival episode to have as much fanservice as the beach episode :)

Also didn't expect to get so much vocabulary from a SoL show: learned six new Japanese words and phrases from the first half alone, about as much as I get from a whole episode of FMA Brotherhood these days.

Really enjoyed the fleshing out of Honoka's character in the past couple of episodes - apparently she's Team Mom, and can get pretty authoritarian, but her money extracting methods were pretty funny. And Rento is an adorable ditz like before. As of now Yachiyo feels like the most underutilized, hope she'll get a little more development later on.

Deciding what to do to make money for the 24-hour competition. Cosplay shooting cafe for that. The two new characters.. are they that blond hair girl's twin brothers or sisters? Water gun show! Imagination time when she's vs. Miyukichi's character.

Cool shooting range that they set up. Like that water gun showdown that they had. Seems like Yura is not aware of her surroundings again and Sonora is noticing that.

Haha Yura definitely went into seed mode, look her blank eyes :P Yura and Sonora's match was kind of boring, the way it ended in one hit. Not sure how that's exciting for the audience. The other match was much more entertaining. The Opera Club guys were pretty eccentric. Since they broke the shooting range thing, I wonder if that's where all their money is going to instead of the 24 hour tournament? Probably not though lol.

Watching Yura's fantasies are always so much fun :3
Looks like Sono-sempai is still bothered by Yura not noticing the things around her :P
Looking forward to the 24-hour tournament

I don't really have a problem with the same person voicing several characters in one anime but this time it was hard to keep Karila and her twin brother apart they sounded exactly the same.
Yura looks like she is taking the spot light in the group from Sonora and it looks like Sonora doesn't like that.
Still i think they need to talk about that among the two of them before it starts straining their friendship, and since the two are roommates there should be many opportunities for them to talk in private.

Dat lobster.

Two new characters appeared: Daishichi and Aira, members of the Opera Club. Aira happens to be the twin brother of Karila.

So the club makes a Cosplay Firing Range Cafe in order to get money to go to a tournament.
Which was successful because of the Get Wet Strategy.

And I am still amazed with Yura's imagination.
Speaking of Yura, I can't see how people can be so mean to someone so cute!
I’m always searching for something, for someone. This feeling has possessed me I think, from that day… That day when the stars came falling.

Sono seems annoyed by some of the things Yura does. Last episode too. Well, she did kinda use Sono being distracted to her advantage.

And now they're gonna have to pay for that shooting machine I guess? xD

I wonder if they are going to continue on that flashback Yura had back when she was in middle school, it felt kind of out of place when they did that, especially when the girls from her middle school didn't even do anything when they were there. I also wonder when is Sono going to let Yura know about how she doesn't her surroundings, I expect it to be when Haruna returns, but if it keeps happening and there's no solution, that'll be a problem. But nonetheless, this was an alright episode, and hooray for Rento fan service xD

Ugh...another stereotypical cultural festival episode; don't know why I would ever have expected different at this point from a school setting anime but christ it gets old, nor does it feel particularly good compared to the festival episodes in other series.

Weakest episode yet.

This was such a satisfying scene.

Instead of talking to Yura now, when everything is calm and she is happy, Sonora is going to wait until the critical moment she messes up or risks a loss? You are a terrible club president, please step down.

Nice episode with funny bits and even the swimsuits returned. I like that a lot. 4/5.

KGB (KaGekiBu) LOL LOL

Don't know why they cast Kayano Ai as Karina's brother as well... Cost saving?

Not much airsoft / survival game sadly....

I can now see at least 4 levels of challenge Yura will need to face:
- KGB
- her bullies at middle school
- Rin
- Sonora (who I assume will be the "last boss")
So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old?

I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them?

I wonder how long people would put up with this.

As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series.

^This. I really can't believe how much did it change since 1st episode. That charm it had in the beginning is gone, now it's trying to become pseudo-psychological series with Yura' 'psychological trauma' . What's worse, they are continuing with fan service, totally not fitting with what we've seen in first few episodes. Now I'm really considering dropping this. It's quite sad..

I liked the little shoutout to the Dollars trilogy and oh yeah, I'd pay extra to have Karila give me personal coaching too.

A bit generic this episode. I really hope we get back to some firefights with jazz backgrounds soon.

Sonora's attitude towards Yura's airsoft is just getting ridiculous. She's actually starting to annoy me. It couldn't have been for a more useless reason, too. A random kid got bumped... so Yura has to wait until the kid's safety is ensured before shooting? -_- Get over yourself! That'll probably be a recurring thing that annoys me throughout the remainder of this series.

Also, this is purely speculation, but I'm nearly convinced that the glimpse of Yura's 'world' we got a couple episodes ago will be a one-time thing. There are scenes (even in the latest episode) where Yura imagines being in a different setting, but they're nothing like episode 4! >_< I'm holding on to the last bit of hope I have of it returning because they have a rematch coming up with rival-chan, and that'll probably be the point where it's either included once again or forgotten. Regardless if it makes a return or not, I'm mainly hoping that they don't decide to walk down this Sonora attitude path 'til the end. Please god no.

Yura is giving me high hopes for this series; she has great potential to be a tragic hero. Yura becomes completely oblivious to the rest of the world when she gets into the zone. This can allow her to be completely vicious in her attacks. While this trait will make her a winning machine, she will also be dangerous to her teammates. I imagine in this next tournament there will be a point where she ignores a teammate in need of real help to win the game.

Sonora sees hints of this vicious nature in Yura, but seems unwilling to confront Yura about it or is hoping that she mistaken in what she sees. I imagine this same issue is what caused the rift between Sonora and that opposing girl with the long black hair.

2 part in this episode that i don't get it.

1. it's pretty obvious yura got left alone in her previous school, during her flash back. so why add the scene her classmate appear in their tea stall and ended up doing nothing? it doesn't explains anything nor add any character development.

2. sono was distracted by the child, and she lost. apparently she got something on her mind, be it angry, unhappy or whatever she's thinking, thus those face screen time. why do they even bother to focus on both their faces, expression, while in the end everything is brushed off like nothing happened. (again doesn't explains anything nor add any character development)

episode 6 and i don't know to watch this as an slice of life (the way those ghost house or shooting range destroyed) or a serious anime (with flash back of yura)

prob. few more episode before i decide to drop or continue watching.

I had similar questions. Thought Sono would confront Yura this episode about whatever was bugging her. They'll probably build on the old classmates part later on?

A nice relaxing episode otherwise. Looking forward to more battles! :D

Gotta watch out for them lobsters. Fun episode, I wish Yachiyo got more screen time, she's hilarious. "Who here said my boobs were small?!" Honoka is a little swindler.

Hmm, even though Sonora got caught off guard during the duel, I wonder if Yura had it in her to beat her regardless. I think Sonora is starting to avoid Yura because se's caught between jealousy that Yura is getting so much attention and praise, yet also wants to see her flourish as an air soft gunner and likes to see that she's having so much fun.

Oh and I feel for Yura when she saw the girls from her old middle school, I know how awkward it is to run into people from the past, especially when they try their best to not let you move on.

I tend to say that the series with this episode is, really throwing a potential due to the novelty of gender treated, using little incisiveness on the novelty factor introduced. Yes, the story of Yura can also be good, but it is not treated in a robust and different from the usual souls. I was looking for a little more passion on the side of airsoft, here talk about it much, but he sees little in the end! Lovely design and good animations, scenes that involve little, especially those of the school campus, on my part! Rating remeber ...
