Wow this episode was quite interesting. Robin stumbled upon not only the city of gold shandra but also another Poneglyph. So this arc is actually starting to reveal parts from the arabasta arc as well. hmm very mysterious. I wonder if she will finally find the Rio Poneglyph. I have a feeling these poneglyphs are very immportant to the central story.

Ahh this is so good! I feel that the poneglyphs have something to do with Gol D. Roger and One Piece.

The lore of One Piece is just amazing. I can't wait to keep watching this show and see all of this explained in full detail later on.

I really like Robin :) She's going to be one of my favorite character. But i like Zoro, Luffy, Chopper as well. Ussop, Nami, Sanji are not bad too.

Wow. The best of these Survival episodes so far. I knew Robin's part was going to be great. She is a pretty interesting character and gives a quite dark tone to One Piece, which I admit had me surprised. She is strong, but not in a Luffy or Zoro way, but as pretty sadistic. It even seemed she enjoyed breaking that guy's neck.

Meanwhile, we discover something more about the history of this island and the mystery of the Poneglyphs. I am also surprised at how complex the whole story of the series is becoming, and specially at this arc's part.

Adding Zoro's stupidity and Luffy wearing a crown makes this episode a great 5/5.

Ugh, I just love this episode. Even as sweet and thoughtful and sexy as Robin is, we're reminded that she still hasn't lost her side as a merciless assassin. WHAT A BADASS *O* I love her SO much more >>>>>>>>>>> than Nami

LOL @Zoro's sense of direction. "It's to the right!" *turns left* and he doesn't even notice the Southbird facing south xD

Damn, Robin is hardcore af, but also so classy at the same time. It's hard to come across women like her in anime...I'm really liking the creative ways she uses her abilities as well.

Definitely an interesting episode to say the least- had my suspicions during the Alabasta arc, but this episode makes me 99.999% sure that the Poneglyphs are really important to the overarching storyline. Maybe the "real history" engraved on the Rio Poneglyph has something to do with the existence of the One Piece and the Devil Fruits?

Also gotta love how Zoro decides to take a lunch break in the middle of a forest during this whole survival game scenario.

These episodes are a real treasure to watch, the story here has so much more depth than the ongoing ones in the Shin Sekai. I think it helps when you forget so many things that it feels as if you watched an entirely new show lol.

Skypiea is a great arc.

Robin is so awesome! She's very smart, and her power is incredible! I love it because it's very unique, and that she does not fight with bare strength, but with very thought strategy, using the opponents own weaknesses against them. I waited so long to se her in action, too bad she got beaten up a little trying to protect the ruins.

I am much more invested in this segment of the arc (the past history) than the actual fights.

Luffy wearing a crown is magnificent. He found one so he put it on for fun and he was so hungry he even thought about making gold stew.

I'm so glad someone explained the joke for me because Zoro not realizing that a south bird is pointing south, to the direction he's supposed to head, is absolutely hilarious.

I had been upset that Robbin wasn't getting developed in the same manner as everyone else, but to develop her motivations and her past through her actions while also developing the overarching story, that is something I'm interested in. The fact that the rio poneglyph wasn't found despite 20 years of searching means that it makes sense that it was lost because of Jaya being launched into the sky! She couldn't find it because it wasn't in the blue sea!

And then
Robbin proves she has the coolest power in the anime, that she's the most brutal Straw Hat hands down, and that her powers have not been toned down or under powered. Her fight with Yama and the development around her has made me hopeful for her when before this she was my least favorite main character quite handily. Now we've seen just how awesome she can be as she uses a mix of her overwhelming power and smarts, something that is rarely seen as we often see fights with smarts(chopper & usopp) or fights with brawn(sanji, zoro, luffy- even though occasionally this isn't true such as with sanji vs karate fish). She introduced a great mix of fighting styles and swung Yama into a tree, flipped his axe dials on him, and rolled him off a cliff while holding his limbs back so he couldn't catch himself and snapping his neck(and possibly all his limbs?!) as he fell to his death. And I thought snapping that one person's neck so casually was already brutal enough! I wonder what her hat means to her, if it does have a special meaning behind it.

Yama on the other hand proves my point about every enemy but Wyper, and Eneru this arc being a joke! Ohm is our only hope guys! Yama was a fat obnoxious idiot who only ever charged at people and he got destroyed because of it. He's not memorable, he's obnoxious, his fight was weak and he was used as a tool to make Robbin look hella cool. Skypiea villains are so shockingly weak and one dimensional!

I bet Nami can relate with Aisa, she's young, weak, and unable to help her loved ones not unlike Nami once was, but as Nami tried, Aisa is also trying to do her best to help them. I bet those two will get along on that basis.

There was a depiction in the ruins of a man fighting a giant snake coming out of another mans body. I wonder what this represents, whether it's literal and has to do with the giant snake that presumably swallowed Luffy, or if it's more symbolic. Either way it felt important.

This opening and ending has me singing along every episode. BON VOYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE, or I NEVER TREAT YOU BAAAAD"

City of gold yo,came across it.

People like nahh this place don't exist Sky Island doesn't exist there is no city of Gold you know what I mean it's not there and the other person was always going at the bottom of the sea to find it and people laugh and look at this man after 700 hundred of years was it and they found it.

And it does look like the city is not fully destroyed still intact like she said. And them all were meant to meet there but they are all seperated,Zoro has that weird bird following him lol,Luffy is in some sort of cave,Sanji and Usopp turned into crisp so it's only Nami and Robin,Chopper.

Nico took the spotlight in this episode and have us a really great fight against Jabba the Hutt in an effort to save the ruins of the Golden City of Shandora! It's very fortunate that she got recruited by the Straw Hats since her first voyage with them resulted in her uncovering a lost civilization and finding another poneglyph in such a short time.
