Also let's not forget that she somehow understands that foreign language.... Prediction: there is far more to Chi than we know yet, and I have a feeling we were just introduced to the beginning. They already explained the part about her understanding the otherworldly language, the message was aimed at people who were thinking of Maou all the time and she heard it and understood it because she was. The reason she's fine with two demons in an abandoned school is because she grew to love Maou as a human and still loved him after finding out that he was a demon. She is normal, she just loves Maou. I chose Emi as she and Maou have really great chemistry and she's a fairly strong character. Although, I'll agree that it's a little hasty to judge now when there's time for another heroine to be added. |

| I'd prefer they keep the great rivalry between Emi and Maou, rather than play up a romance angle. It's perfect to develop into a kind of grudging respect and friendship that they'll never admit out loud, but I think bringing romance into it will make the comedy lose out. I'm usually not much of a fan of characters like Chiho but she really won me over, too. |
