| This series is so unexpectedly good. I started watching just looking for some easy non-ecchi comedy and I get an actual story with actual plot twists. The only problem I see is that Maou... Is no Maou at all. Seriously, they don't give us anything to back up the "he destroyed the world and slaughtered millions" backstory. He's not even a jerk or anything... And it's not the story about him changing, he's a good guy from the start, what the heck? But still enjoyable. |

| This anime exceeded my expectations. I thought it would be another of those cliché ones coming each season, I was mistaken. Seems to be fun with a bit drama. |

I also found it odd, how come the dark lord be so kind and soft ? must be some evil minds behind him, but honestly even if there is evil minds he would be worse than all in my opinion, to control all the generals and order them to attack obvsly it's with bad intentions so in short of time he become so friendly and nice? that's still weird me.. but well this way it makes the serie funny, because if he was rlly rlly evil maybe the things would turn out in a different way. |

| Oh man. Such a great episode. The landlady is such an interesting character. Her design, the crazy background music that plays when she's there, her aura..... she's just so intriguing. I feel bad for Emi. Sad story indeed. ='( And LMAO! I thought Lucifer was a girl when they first showed him with that voice and that hair. xD In my opinion it would have actually been cool if he had been a girl. I feel like it would've given the character an even more powerful aura. |

| It was nice to learn more about Emi and her past. And I definitely had alotta feels for her when she let out all of her emotions at Maou's place. Glad to see her with a nice friend by her side as well and some supports incoming from the other world. Oooh so that black winged guy at the end was Lucifer. Things are gonna get even more interesting now with more and more magic people appearing. I wonder who the landlady really is as well. And Alsiel has got to be one of the most funniest character in this series. Always get me laughing with his dramatic + public prostrations and overreactions haha. |

| This show is getting better and better, but I kinda missed the comedy, the drama and the plot are awesome, but the pilot made me laugh so much... |

| Great episode. Ashiya was very funny xD but just who is the landlady... and Lucifer's cool, I liked Hiro-san's voice for him. |
| Poor Emilia and the other hand Maou seems didn't realize what he did was seen by human as a horrible thing... I hope there would be more comedy next episode |
| Wow, I am enjoying this so much. I can hardly believe I've really enjoyed every episode until now. It's a fun show with likable and fun characters who can be serious when they have to. Also nice to see some backstory on Emilia, and why she's so hung over on defeating Maou. Things are starting to get real with one of Maou's former generals practically starting a coup against him. There's no hiding the fact anymore without some memory manipulation now that people have seen that guy unfold his wings. Maou still hasn't answered Emilia's and my question why he's such a do-gooder on Earth compared to his deeds back in their world. Though it could also be possible that the atrocities were in fact due mostly to his generals tasked with conquering the world on his orders. Surprisingly, the landlady knows a lot more about magic than she appears to be, after launching that misleading talk on Maou's girl problems. I suppose she's also from their world, but who? Reinforcements are also coming for the lone Emilia, though there's no telling how weak those two would become once they reach Earth. |

| I may be the only one but, I originally started watching this anime because it was quite funny and I didn't think it'd be anything other than that. I was hoping for a humorous and non-plot-driven anime that I can just enjoy every week. However the past two episodes have proved that what you'd call a "serious plot" has been added and to be honest it's taken away from the value and humour of the show, in my opinion. Still weary as to if I should drop this or not. |

| Wow, GREAT episode! Poor Emilia ... sad past :( It's nice that she has Rika who kind of understands at least ... even if she doesn't know the specifics I really loved the scene where she just ranted at Maou. Then Chiho walks in with Mikity (lol) ... seems like she knows all about their situation! AWESOME PART AT THE END! Kind of suspected it was Lucifer ... seems like the generals are alive after all! Does that mean the others are too? His wings though ... pretty *_* Also those two who are going looks like they know Emilia ... This show is really surpassing my expectations so far, blending comedy and seriousness very nicely together. Can't wait to see where it'll go! |

| Very good episode!!! I liked the scene where Emi was being treated by Sadao and we also get to see a bit of Emi's past and how briefly shows how she vows to herself to defeat the Demon Lord. Seems like the one behind the incident is one of Sadao's General named Lucifer and the other two members from Emi's side are attempting to help her but it seem like we have someone who has problems with gate-sickness which made me laugh so much!! Looking forward to seeing how this turns out in the next episode!! 5/5 |

| Lucifer, so he was alive. I expected the bad guy to be ex-general of Sadao, that's why I suspected Ashiya for a moment, but I'm a bit relieved the bad guy is someone else. |

| Poor Chiho! But well that ending sure was interesting, so we got Lucifer and some other two heroes on earth now? The backstory was rather interesting and who knew the Landlord would also been from that other world! Well lets see what's next! |

| The plot thickens. I freakin knew it! Maou might not be all bad, maybe it's all his general Lucifer's fault, like killing Emilia's dad? Since it's not Maou that's leading the forces. As for Chii-chan's misunderstanding, a woman in his house, and we should've known what that means. A woman don't just go to a man's house like that, not to mention they never really cleared up their misunderstanding before. Hataraku Maou-sama is so enjoyable! |
