| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- "Maria and Uso" Well, another Shrike pilot goes down and dies a gruesome death. Eventhough, Uso gets the Queen to agree to be a hostage/shield, it doesn't stop Cronicle. Peggy is dispatched by him w/ a beam saber to the cockpit (damn!) and then he quickly dispatches Marbet and the Gun EZ. Though captured, the Queen tries to keep Uso and Marbet from being executed. It is clear that she is only a figure head as the old men who really run Zanscare have no intention of letting them live. Good thing Uso gets to meet up with his friends and they work out a plan. Its wonderful irony to see Tassilo out there waiting for the guillotine after the horrible death he gave one of his subordinates. Uso is saved by his friends when they hijack the Gundam & Gun EZ on display and they attempt to break out. Marbet takes the Gun EZ and Uso gets in his Victory unit. As they attempt to escape, he's attacked by a Rig Shokew. Its piloted by Katejina and apparently she's lost her d@mn mind! |

| I don't think I'm liking this formula... every time Uso gets close with someone, they kill that person off... and seriously this story is a mess, what a weird pacing and decisions. I've heard these guys kill a lot of characters in this anime, if they dare to kill Marvet-san I'll be pissed off! I'd say the same for Shatki (the best female character of Gundam thus far) but that character it's pretty sure it will live to the end. What hell is wrong with second half of this ep? Is everyone on drugs or what? PS:WHat was wrong with the noses?? |

| I knew from the previous episode that Peggy was going to die. Seriously this is so predictable. :/ I guess Katejina has the hots for Chronicle, that's why she changed sides. Anyway, seems like the preview of the next episode spoiled another death for us. |

| Lol, i laughed when i saw that guy in-frond of the guillotine. One minute his with his uniform in the big table talking with the other bigshots and the next minute his about to get his head cut off. It seems more that is because she's mad at Uso for joining with those people and for expanding his social circle. It's just bad storytelling it really no matter if he made it synonyms with his name or not. If it's synonymous to his name then it's something he should feel bad about. |
| I hate previews that spoil it takes the intensity out of who will live or die in the battles. Maria can heal people with light! xD I will be crushed if they kill off Odelo I love him and Chronicle is a good character too. Katejina finally gets in a mobile suit. |

We saw Zanscare using Maria as a person who can make miracles. My impression was that she is just a puppet for Zanscare to gain the appeal of the masses, with all this miracle stuff. Maybe they intend to create an official religion for Zanscare, in order to unite their kingdom. |

| Good ep. We get to see that Maria is just a figurehead while the Military top brass (like that Fonse Kagatie guy) make the big decisions behind the scenes. |

| Ahah, Peggy was a tough girl, she needed a few extra minutes to get rid of her life. The real surprise was Cronicle accepting to kill his sister the Queen for such a minimal gain. When the Queen Maria started to shine, my first reaction was to search for the spotlights thinking the first rank of the audience was a bunch of actors XD. Sadly, it was truly a miracle... Tomino: "Now, Newtypes are either super-soldiers or healers. Accept it!" I guess the mutual understanding cause is definitely gone. On the other hand, I like what the old guys achieved: a kind of cult of the personality around a docile and naive person to reign in a "militarocratie" state. I even wonder if they didn't make her the "queen" she is, I suspect her to have been more or less accidentally found by them. The execution of the high-grade guy was pretty expected after the way they treated Miss "purple-hair". I loved how surprised he was. Hum, we have finally reached the point where Katejina is openly aggressive toward Uso. Though I couldn't grasp anything she said. 3/5 Where can it still wander?? XD edit: rewatched a few min of the 25th, is the Ligue Militaire leader only a double? It seems that Katejina is no longer a spy for some reason. She simply dropped this excuse ion a letter for Uso because at the time she was feeling a little bad for him about her choice. Now, she's clearly in peace with herself. | That was an odd ceremony. Katejina's appearance was mildly irking. Her jealousy was a bit terrifying, it enabled her to raise a weapon against a previous acquaintance. It wasn't something that I greatly appreciated. At least her transformation is complete, for better or worse. A loss of another Shrike team member (and my favourite one) saddened me. |

Making her into some kind of saint looked ridiculous xD my first reaction was to search for the spotlights thinking the first rank of the audience was a bunch of actors I'm pretty sure that's what happened, no way it could be real healing And OF COURSE they needed to make Katejina into a bad girl. Who could've predicted that. Not sure how to feel about way-too-easy escapes here and there. Guess I'll need to just accept Tomino's decisions here. |

| Wow, at first I thought the Zanscare Empire was just shining lights during the Queen's speech but then the sick and injured actually started healing! No idea if this is some kind of newtype power or something else; I don't think I've ever seen anything like it before. Also it seems Katejina has finally made her move against the League Militaire. Can't say I didn't see it coming as I thought it was only a matter of time with how her characterization was progressing, but I do think it would open up some interesting plot elements in the future. |
| Wait, Maria can really heal people like that? Wow. So Katejina being a spy was a lie? huh. Well, this is the last episode for Summer 1993 of this anime so 8/10 so far. |

| i like a lot the character of the queen, i hope we see more of her. Katejina has gone crazy, she has lost definitely her mind. poor uso, everyone he cares dies horribly |
