| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I was watching this episode, while wearing my favourite comfy sweater, lying on the couch, with my computer as tv screen, while the rain was softly poking my window, after a very long day. I reckon this is the best situation to watch an anime like this. This was one of the most relaxing episodes I've ever seen, and I actually almost fell asleep, although I have mild insomnia and it's five PM. It was just so calm and the music was so soft, that it made me really mellow. |

| Well I must admit that I didn't really care for the first version, I felt it had too many drawn out scenes, which made it boring to me. However, this episode was much better in the story department, and actually had a little plot going on. The wind and rain were pretty relaxing. Made me want to watch this late at night before going to sleep. |

| Yeah, I liked this just a bit better than the OVA. Got to say that the music really reminded me of Aria, or rather vice versa, not to mention the tone and so on of the show. Really enjoyed this. |

| This seemed a little more interesting than the 1998 OVA, but I found that the 1998 OVA did a better job in the scenery of certain detail, especially stuff in distances. |

| This OVA IMHO is done better that the first one. And I agree you should watch it just to relax :-) Looking forward to the second episode. |

| After first episode I consider the OVA from 1998 as a better one in almost every aspect (maybe except animation quality). And I really don't like the way of showing the main heroine. |
| A lovely, Choro Club is also one of the reasons I started watching this. Really lovely to hear their tunes in this ova! Looking forwards to see what the last episode has to offer. |

| Nice to see Alpha acting as cute and genki as always but it's a shame the studio decided not to keep the detailed art-style from the 98' OVA. Art-wise, I found those visuals far more aesthetic and pleasant than here but well. |

| I find the aesthetic better in the 1st OVA I think, I just didn't like the change of filter here and there but the overall an okay episode, still isn't anything special but does give a melancholic essence for the major part of the series. |
Thanks, Teddy! I looked for a long time, but could not find English subtitles anywhere. I can't believe your link is still live and working after all these years, and that the video is still up and available 14 years after your post! I loved this. I know it is not perfect, but how could YKK ever be adapted perfectly? The music was super, and I really was happy to get a dose of YKK peacefulness. So grateful. |
