| I'm glad I havn't read the manga judging by this thread. I'd probably not like it as much if I did. All in all this looks to be promising though I wish it were 2-cour and was seasonal like Bakuman, but alas :( Can't wait for the blu-ray now though lol. Was annoyed at the censoring of boobs during the bath scene. I hate how blood, gore, and limbs getting cut off is acceptable, but boobs aren't. /sigh 5/5 for a first ep though. If they're really cramming a bunch of chapters per ep the pacing should be quick. Did not feel any dull moments while watching which is rare in any anime for me. |

| I was really surprised to see that this is by the same man behind I"s and Video Girl Ai. I can never get enough of the sentai/yuusha monster fighting stories so hopefully this won't disappoint. |

| It may be that I've just been starved of series with red colored blood (or blood at all), but I thought that was an amazing episode. I'm up to date with the Zetman manga and I didn't find any problems with what they did in terms of toning it down. I may be singing a different tune when the inevitable sleepover happens, but until then I can't really think of any scene that could really frustrate me. Zetman will already go down in my books for making me shed two tears during the bathtub scene. |

| I read the manga. But I don't hate what they did with the anime....the manga seemed to....violent and more adult like?? Well I'm not used to seeing really violent shows anyways but I still managed to read the manga. Too bad it's only going to be 13 episodes. I like the animaton and the action scenes lol oh and the ending theme was cool. |

| GEH! Nine pages of discussion and only one mention of the fact that the guy who created this has been around as a popular mangaka for quite a while. Video Girl Ai, DNA2, I''s... He's from a time (late 80's, early 90's) before the industry started beating us all over the head with moe. Same time period CLAMP and Kosuke Fujishima (Ah My Goddess) popped up in. I could continue to gush... Suffice to say I am THRILLED that this is getting animated. If you looked into the background of this guy's works (earlier one shots of this work before the current serialization, plus a couple of cameos in one or two of his other manga), You can see why many think that Zetman may have been strongly influenced by the creator's love of the superhero Batman. Looking forward to watching this through in it's entirety and while I don't expect it to follow the manga exactly, I hope it does it justice to some degree. And for any of you milennium-anime-whippersnappers, I HIGHLY recommend checking out Video Girl Ai and I''s at least. While not action oriented like Zetman, They are both awesome works by themselves. They do a good job of showing that you CAN have plot, likeable characters AND some degree of relatively tasteful fanservice in one work. That, and his art is simply gorgeous. :-D |

| I haven't read the manga, so for me this episode was awesome... Maybe,when the anime ends I will read it, since when I read the manga first I know that most of the times the anime adaption it's not what you expected and you don't want to watch it =_=. |

| It wasn't anything special or innovative, seems like a standard shouen stuff but somehow it kept me entertained and i didn't even notice when whole episode went by. Moving on next episode right away. |

| Reading from the comments ahead of me, maybe I'll take shot at the manga after this ends if I still have the time. I'm inclined to agree with the ones who didn't read the manga first, since I'm one of them. This was quite good since I enjoyed it. I'm surprised that the lady survived that much violence...one tough future onee-chan or mother for Jin. |

| Hmm.. this looks very interesting, some nice drama, action and horror. Definitely staying with this one, hope it won't become ridiculous as it goes. Glad the lady lived at the end, she is a good woman. |

| I heard that a lot of people say this sucks compared to the manga, I never read the manga though, I don't really know. I thought this was pretty good, although it was sort of generic. I'll follow it and see where it goes because I was expecting more. |

| okay, i was doing my usual browsering and came across Zetman. At first i thought 'Hmmm not really my genre but i'll give it ago' well after the first episode i was hooked!!! Epic fighting, drama and monsters...awesome! Plus moe scene in the bath lol I haven't read the manga or had even heard of Zetman until last night but will defianitly continue this! HELL, i might even read the manga now :D |

| Well that was an intense start, censored or not. I think I'm going to really like this one, even if I can see some cliches incoming. The gore, scars and fights add a sense of realism to violence, I like it when series actually show how brutal superpowers and abilities can really be. |

| What a start with the first episode. A lot of action, a lot of feels. Seems like Jin doesn't know so much about the world, about feels etc. Jin is so cool and so strong. I really like him as a character. I'm curious about all the characters they've shown and what their role will be. Besides of that I'm glad Akemi survived and Jin finally has a person like his grandfather :) Can't wait to see how this will go on. |
