| According to the official website, Hotarubi no Mori e has won the Best Animation Film Award in the 66th Mainichi Film Concours. The Blu-ray and the DVD of the anime will be released on February 22nd. | Hotarubi no Mori <3 I’ve been excited to watch it ever since it was announced; counting the days that go by, looking everywhere for it — having now a date when the Blu-ray and DVD are being released has made me giddy with happiness. I didn’t think I could be any more thrilled; just proved myself wrong. It won an award too! That’s amazing~ I sincerely can’t imagine how gleeful I’ll be when I can finally watch it. |

| I just finished watching this movie i think for movies this is the sadist anime movie I have seen in a long time it slightly reminds me of Spirited Away where Chihiro never got to see Haku again this one truly made me cry i would watch it again if i seriously need to cry I do feel really bad for Hotaru and Gin I wish the gods would have made something magical happen like when she came back the next summer he turned out to be standing in his normal spot as a human so they could have ended up together it was a sad story but beautiful artwork and really nice music as well I hope they make another one where he does come back bc she wished for it enough. But I do give it a 10 bc it does deserve it. |
