| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- The new issue of Bessatsu Shounen Manga has Chapter 20 on pages 368 - 405. The Japanese title is "Omae no koto", and the English subtitle is "Land of the Dead", which as always has nothing to do with the Japanese title or the actual chapter. There is a color first page with Rea in a Yukata, lifting a cat mask off of her face. Most interesting is that there are 8 Sankarea-inspired color pages at the beginning of the magazine that are done by other manga-ka who have currently running stories in Bessatsu Shounen mag. Most of the pages are the other manga-ka's interpretation of Rea, done in the style of the other manga-ka's current series, although a couple have their own characters in zombie settings. The chapter itself is simultaneously touching and horrifying. I'll stop there are far as spoilers go. |

| It was a pretty good chapter. A bit short and the outcome was to be expected though. But what will happen to Rea now? Does she truly hold the answer to the cure? sigma013 said: So did she permanently regained her human self or has she temporarily changed back? If it is permanent, was the cure something cheesy like "the power of love" or "drinking a lover's blood". Even though i thought this would happen i'm slightly disappointed. Probably won't be the last time that happens. It was the typical "your words got through to my conscience despite me being this way" sort of thing. OK, I wont lie first chapter in the series to make me cry at the very end. It was that emotional so a nice T_T it was. Quite the miracle of love and emotions to have humanized Rea at the most critical time. If there is one part that is indeed touching from Chihiro’s side but horrifying from Rea’s side is the following, That part my dear friends along with the ones in the spoiler Anyway the other part I loved is the following,  Now that’s a great slap from Ranko to Darin. It really showed a powerful care of Ranko for Chihiro once again. Rather a powerful scene should it be in the anime.

Same for me, I just started reading this a few hours ago, and I think it was the best moment to do so, just when chapter 20 came out :D Brilliant chapter, 10/10 in my opinion, can't wait for more! |

| Best chapter so far. Rea was realy scary, it's rare to feel chills, when reading manga. And the moment when Chihiro confess his feelings, it was touching and felt so real. After this chapter, I'm sure Sankarea will become anime. Visit Sankarea FC  |

| There you go, Rea may have in her some of the solutions to their problems! Before that, however, Chihiro must survive being "loved" to death by Rea, if he first doesn't become a zombie himself as a result of Rea's loving bite. Fortunately, timely rescue arrives due to Ranko springing into action after barging in by chance to a conversation between Darin and Grandpa. That scene where Chihiro was confessing to Rea while she had begun eating his arm, with a sea of flames as a backdrop was powerful. It's chapters like this that separate Sankarea from your run of the mill romcom stories. Intense chapter. I can only hope that we get a proper adaptation in the anime, and that the manga finishes before the anime does or even airs so the chances for an anime original ending lessens. |
| Well that was...disturbing and exciting at the same time. A bit cliched on how Rea returned her reasoning but oh well. Looking forward to next chapter. And the anime. Though what the hell what that thing when they found Rea and Furuya? |

| I wonder if Chihiro's power up through poison will let him heal that wound? Anyway, cool to see Rea getting back to normal. <3 Wonder how it'll go now that Chihiro confessed, as this doesn't seem to be some shitty harem where characters behave like it didn't happen. |

He will obviously survive, but I think that the healing process will be long. For manga/anime terms that is. I guess he'll be fucked up for 2 or 3 chapters. Also, it's to keep her moving too.. xP |

| Great chapter, but I'm seriously disappointed there's an easy solution to the problem. The odds of a twisted ending pretty much dropped to zero. |
| I can think of 4 reasons as to why she regained her 'sanity' there. 1. She ate some meat 2. She drank some blood 3. She heard Furuya's words 4. Subconsciously reverted because of herself. |

| I'm really confused. Do I have to count the extra chapter in the final of fourth volume as a chapter on MAL's counter or just ignore it? |
