| I think it's a good thing that they did this and not a Naruto-type "filler" that is the whole Shippuuden series. I'm glad that they just sit back, leaving the work on another time or dimension or whatever, as far as I'm concerned they could have as well taken a vacation, as long as they don't "polute" the main arc with crappy delays. I think tho that this arc started a lot better than the bountou one, much funnier scenes and I kinda missed those real-world wacky characters. Besides, there were some scenes that really made my day, like the Hollow Dogpile or Inoue thinking of BSDM. The only thing (except the useless bankai, which can only be explained by that fact that they wouldn't want to miss the second period, lol) was that Ichigo let Ishida finish those hollows off, with that many there's the risk of upsetting the balance and stuff, and of course once good humans souls are actually mass-destroyed... what WERE they thinking at? SCHOOL?! The going to the real world was roughly explain: they saved Inoue, got everyone back and started their life till the fight with the Arrancars starts again... after all, at least now, that's all they're there to do, right? moggimus said: A couple observations: 1: Well... The Naruto thing was indeed weird, I'm not buying the ninjitsu explanaition, for the only reason that Bleach doesn't have such a thing. They have "binding spells" or something, which resume to basicly one arm movement and then a pointing to release the energy. Even Rukia has simple hand movements, and she knows quite a lot if I'm not mistaken. Well, to sum up this episode, it was funny, but not at all original. Between the FMA-rip-off, Naruto signs, spoiled princess cliche, it's obvious where this is going. The good parts are the character funny related roles. As for the princess and bodyguards going to school... that was the lamest thing. They could have just made up some home-teaching excuse thing, and thus they'd have exposed themselves a lot less, which is what they wanted to do in the first place, lol. The only good thing is that they don't dilatate (we all hate what happened with Renji & Ishida's fight, don't we?) the main story, and that this one takes place in the real world, with the characters we knew and liked in the original series :) |
| I was so jaded with the Arrancar-Hueco Mundo plot that I'd PAY to forget all about Aizen and his cronies and return to the basics. Bleach how it began, a mix of slice of life, comedy with quirky characters, and a lot of stylish (yet sometimes trivial) fights. I think Bleach had lost touch with it's light-hearted side and focused way too much on the fighting (that's what throwing an arc that's all about monotonous battles will do). You can totally see the "back to beggining" vibe even with the animation. COmpare this episode's animation at many points to the animation from the first arc of Bleach and you can see some similarities. I'm not in such a hurry to go back to Hueco Mundo yet. |

| It bothered me that they randomly started a new arc, but it is refreshing to see normal life in it instead of rescuing people and whatnot. I would've preferred it if they stayed with Orihime and the Espada but what can you do about it? |

| They need to stop putting in scenes of Ichigo fighting weak hollows that aren't even animated. I mean, remember when he fought hollows in the first few eps of Bleach? Granted, it was newer thus better animated back then, and Ichigo was weaker, but really, they aren't even trying anymore t.t. Too many still objects are lame. |

Normal life has started. It's really not hard to fill in the gaps. There's alot of stuff still to happen before they go home. Some good stuff too. Greater detail on when this actually happens would be appreciated. But if not, i can just appreciate this without trying to fit it into the current storyline. |

| I don't like how they managed to shove this arc in directly in the middle of another, at least the Bountou one came after the soul society one. However I am liking the return to normality with the school and Hollows (why the hell did Ichigo feel the need to use bankai on normal hollows?!?!?!) and i'm now gonna treat this as another Bleach movie, which is what it looks like. Best bit today was from Orihime: "A princess! I bet she had an expensive leather corset, and tall black boots, and a whip, and said 'Who is hungry, slave? That's right, I am!' " "Orihime, that's a dominatrix." XD |

| These episodes seem fun. As others have said, ARMOSTRONG TAISHO FTW! I really enjoy the regular day and school-based episodes in Bleach so these fillers get a thumbs up from me. The main group excluding Renji is getting some scenes together and all the Rukia screen-time is refreshing. ^^ |

| For a moment, I thought I missed an entire arc since everyone was back in town. This filler is amazingly out place, wow. It's kind of understandable I guess since it's difficult to have a filler arc while everyone's still stuck in Hueco Mundo. Still, I dunno about the decision to handwave everything. |

| And I ask myself "how did I get here?" lol. That Talking Heads song sprang to mind when watching this episode where suddenly they are back in the human world like HM is on hold and they forgot they were ever there lol. It's like watching it in the wrong order, it's like watching Lost season 6 before season 1 and being like "how did they get on the island?" lol. Very confusing, they should have really instead of doing HM then this filler, do this filler first then do HM when it was finished in the manga, it would have been the most sensible course of action if they didn't want to put it on hold temporarily. But it was still quite a funny episode. The Princess and the rest of the cast were funny. Nice to see Kon again. Although the animation, it didn't seem too bad but it seemed more simplistic I thought than normal was how I thought it was. |

| This filler arc is very fun so far. This episode felt like early Bleach, which I love. Orihime characterization is on point with her crazy drawings and weird imagination. Ichigo joking about Byakuya was really funny. And the new princess character is pretty entertaining. |
