So she doesnt want to make a contract with Hasekura because it will change him from being a human, but heres a thought hes not a proper human.

Erika going blood binge there....that will probably be the cause of the contract

why couldnt it start like this? they wasted over half of the eps to establish the setting. now the story was set into motion but its almost over ôo at this rate they'll need a 2nd season to finish this..or they rush the last 3 eps...

The skipped the suggested Kuze biting scene!!
I wanted to see some Yuri biting action!!

Speaking of biting scenes when is the biting scene between Erika and Hasekura finally going to happen.
I mean it's was obvious from the first episode that a biting scene between those 2 will happen at some point during the anime.
Erika's logic was flawed, she said she didn't want to lose someone yet she doesn't want someone to be her servant even if it grands them eternal life.

My thoughts too. Even if she absolutely refuses to have a servant, no matter how you look at it now, she has no choice but to drink Hasekura's blood at the very least. But I think he'll end up her manservant probably. Though with how generic this show's been, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Erika got out of the servant deal by Hasekura giving her mother a good talking to. HERO speech anyone?

Why do they always have to make endings so interesting ? >: (

I want her to suck Hasekuras blood already, it would be awsome :33

Well its something in a past episode if i can remembber correctly. Erika's bro got a blood sample and he said something about it not being just human, the eps before Hasekura found out abouth vamps i think

When Iori got a blood sample of Hasekura, it was he who said his blood wasn't of a normal human.

Whoah whoah since when did they make this a half seasonn >.>
I thought at this pace it would be a full one, but it looks like it is too good to be true.

I thought him offering to be her servant was nice, even if typing that sentence in hindsight is boogling, but I'm not sure. It is obvious it will end that way but I am curious what they will do with the last three episodes...

I also thought that at first, but maybe what she means is that that person also loses their will and has to obey the master unconditionally, so in a sense that person will not be the same again..

She want his blood, he going for sure help her.
He did said so.

This episode is pretty good, and they mother looks like a kid but she really very old.

Wait, why did he need to send her off at the end? They live in the same building don't they? Just in the same room... Did they somehow forget that whilst making this episode? Absorbed in making some cliche..? Sigh...
Another point, why doesn't stupid Erika ask her brother about her lust for Hasekura's blood etc, it's so stupid.
It's because of her stupidity she doesn't understand herself properly =="

Being the servant of a beautiful kind girl for eternity is no punishment.
Even if you have to donate her some of your blood from time to time.
I certainly wouldn't mind it.

So the plot is finally moving. I liked that they showed us how the mechanics between vampire/servant works.
I found it ironic that Erika didn't want to drink human blood and yet she use donors blood.
Interesting that vampires only want to suck the blood of people whom they care for.

Pretty good episode, they finally reveal to whole servant whom I talked about in spoilers earlier on. Also Kaya being their mother which most most likely knew from the hair color she has. I feel bad for Kuze, I mean living forever never to experience death and most of all frustrating is serving as guinea pig to have its blood sucked. I would rather kill my master and die altogether than all that with the side effect of constantly run out of energy like a battery.

The other thing is the cruelty of Kaya towards Erika and Kohei wanting to be Erika's servant. Now the cruelty towards Erika was shit! Shit I tell you! How can a mother lock its own daughter because she does not want to be like a mother wants her to be? Crap that's all. Kohei wanting to be Erika's servant, now I would think twice about it but if it makes Erika happy to have sex with him and to no suffer I don't see the wrong in regards to that.

No, no and no. Being cattle for creatures that have betrayed their creator is a big no for me. I would rather work with a angel and be a servant of God then with a vampire. You do all know the story of Cain and the first vampire right? Generally speaking. Also some vampires in other animes beg and thank when they are killed. Why? Because they want the bliss of experiencing death to move on from this life.

Wow, that was a great and sweet episode..... NOT!

I nearly fell asleep on the first half (that's why I shouldn't be watching this one on midnight). While the second half got better and interesting with some revelation and all and then it suddenly reverted back again with those cheesy moments and with Kohei's nice-guy attitude.

Also, the ending is the same shit from the previous two episodes. It's freaking Erika wanting Kohei's blood. Damn, it's frustrating, why don't she just bite the guy? Those BS promises not biting a human is pretty lame and stupid. Meh, average at best episode.

inb4 if you don't like it don't watch it. No, it's still interest me but this episode just irked me a bit.

wow this episode was kinda boring in the beginning but poor kuze! i laughed when kuze gave her a slap, she is so lucky to have been slapped by kuze, i wouldnt mind lol =)
ugh 3 more eps..when is erika gonna bite kohei! its obvious its gonna happen and kohei is gonna be her servant! but i swear if the series ends up with kohei talked her mom into letting erika stay without making a servant, i am never going to watch another vampire anime ever again, and im going to rage really hard because there is a line between a hero and someone who does too much good and ruins it for everyone who has their hopes up for erika x kohei. so yeah..im just waiting on the 50% of the ending we all do not want to see, im prepared to rage.

It is actually both. She wants his blood and there is something special about Hasekura.

That I don't know but it's obvious that she was made into a servant not too long after Kaya because maybe Kaya had blood cravings for her blood and like Iori explained about what kind of liking the vampires like of their blood.

Talk about a textbook example of the "two steps forward, one step back" mentality; the development was made apparent, but it felt like a filler overall.

I think one significant fact concerning Erika's opposition towards turning Hasekura into her servant was really overlooked: her fear of losing her rationality and forever losing her view on humans/Hasekura as not companions and friends but instead as an outlet for her bloodlust, as objects to be used on a whim based on her vampiric lusts. She wants to be able to maintain a peaceful existence with her human friends and she strongly feels that she may lose that opportunity forever the moment she finally caves in and turns someone she cares about (read: most likely Hasekura).

Personally, while an understandable fear, it is also contradicated by a scene in this episode where Iori was able to interact with Sister Amaike in a controlled manner, despite the momentary lapse where his vampiric attributes supposedly took over; it only proves (assuming that Sister Amaike is actually Iori's servant) that even after the process of establishing a servant, it's possible to maintain a peaceful life with your servant and that with continuous effort, it's likely that nothing significant will really change, barring the immortality aspect, which can suck.

Then again, it's been established that Hasekura isn't normal, so Erika's bloodlust issue could be a lot worse than a traditional vampire's.

Hopefully the last few episodes don't feel too rushed whilst being able to effectively conclude the plot all at the same time.
Will I fall in love someday? I wonder?

What's interesting about all this is that I don't think the sister is a servant of Iori but may have been a person that looked like the servant Iori had. After all at one point you see that Iori sees in her another woman. Either this says that Iori had a servant and it was killed off somehow or Iori desires sister as a normal woman to be her servant. Either way it just showed clearly Iori's desire for a servant.

>.> I somewhat fail for not actually seeing that possibility, though I instinctively and immediately respond by inquiring as to how/why Iori and Sister Amaike act on such a familiar level, though that could also most likely be answered by the fact that Iori is one sexy Student Council President and the Sister is no different from the rest of the school's female population swooned by him.

Probably.

...then again, I'm also then led to wonder why Iori wasn't treated as harshly as Erika was if Iori does not have a servant already in that case. Or perhaps is he treated differently because he seldom does suck on other people's blood (episode one or two, IIRC) thus being held in a more respectable perspective by Kaya.

I don't know anymore; I hope at least a respectable number of questions are answered in the small timeframe left for Fortune Arterial.
Will I fall in love someday? I wonder?
