Pretty good episode. Explained a lot about the world itself, what is Heaven, why they kept feeding it and who really is Ruruta.

Hamy speech at the end was awesome. Hope to see Matt in action one last time.

I was a little disappointed with the revelations about Heaven in the last episode but this one more than makes up for it. Fantastic episode and I can't wait for the rest. I was iffy about this series after Colio's death but soon found this to be quite the great little series.

The only issue I really have with these last couple episodes is this makes Hammy going after Olivia kind of insignificant too soon, if that makes sense. Maybe that's because of the book cramming others have mentioned which might've messed with the original pace of the story.

Hooo, i loled when the old man get hit by Hamy's stone pellet in Ruruta's heaven or something..how the heck she is able to do that?

And darn that was a pretty messed up past for Ruruta, kinda sad when Nieniu turned into that thing..

It was nice to see the pace back to something normal, so the rewrites don't hurt even the least bit as much as in the past two episodes.
So they really are going for an individually written ending for the anime consisting out of the most important parts of the final 4 books as it seems. It's a bit messed up, but at least in this one the skipping of information wasn't so blatantly obvious.

It's really kinda like the 1984 movie of The Neverending Story, which also focused only on one single plotline but didn't feel that cut down unless you knew the book.

Oh yes, it makes sense.
Olivia was supposed to have a story arc of her own together with Enlike after she became the Witch of Recollection...that was one of those things that was really obviously cut from 23 and 24...especially because she was just simply put to sleep like many others on the side of the street while feeding cats. ^^°

I felt that as if The church's philosophy is practice in the past also.....Enlike is a good example i guess.
Enlike X Noloty ; Luluta X niniu

Bantorra's now playing at a whole new level, scenaristically speaking at least (the art and animation are still ugly and bad). Oh and I was so hapy to see Hamyuts dead that I'm now quite bothered to see that she did it purposedly in order to attain Ruruta's belly/Heaven.

In every age, in every place, the deeds of men remain the same.

I guess this episode clears up whether or not Kachua was killed by Enlike. Also, I was heaps happy when Hamutz died, but alas, Bantorra was being all tricksy again.

Come on Matt, why you gotta fall over half dead like that? :P Get up and fight!

And I can't believe I'm saying this, but this episode wasn't too bad. O_o

episode on a whole new level -so basically this guy fell in love and has been trying to collect happy books for his dead lover, but now decides to end the world. on that note, all main protagonists show up in his "stomach"
the only way to stop a gamer from playing is either: beat them, or wait until they get bored (though 2% percent suffer seizures

Agreed. Now that it's almost over, I honestly think that this show still has so much to offer if it wasn't so condensed. It would be great if Bantorra was done in more than a season.

I read somewhere that this show is done the way it is because of limited budget, so oh well there's no use of whining about it.

I remember seing multiple post production screen caps in one of their press releases a scene that never made into the any of the episodes, in a Japanese website the first time it came out, and I am definitely sure of it.

Now I'm trying to find it again but I can't. Anyone in here thinks it's somekind of a rewrite halfway through because the show didn't get enough ratings?

Definitely!
The light novel itself is not that popular among the younger audience and the anime is by far not that popular. I think it's because the story is kinda standing in between several genre and types...many people don't exactly know where to put the story.
The fandom in the west is of course no indicator for Japan, but what I heard, it's not that popular and we can be happy it got a full 26 episode course (excluding the re-cap episode).

I would have also liked it better if they had just stayed with their small rewrites from the start, to make the story a bit quicker. They could have just ended with the end of the 6th arc...made some arcs a little bit longer with more character development...but well, people just don't want it.
And still next season everyone is gonna whine again that there are just fan-servicy shows, but won't watch shows like this one....

Since Vollken"s death this anime became a little boring, the episodes after that didn't had the same consistency from before, at least I was a bit disappointed with the latest revalations, but this episode was nice after all, ended in a part that makes us wonder what comes next, Hamy got killed just to defeat Ruruta from that "inner world"? And I agree that the series now reached a whole new level.

I just don't care. The logic is such that anything is possible with little to no explanation, so I'll just see where it goes.

Yes, i agree, there should be an explanation for what's happening and the way the world works (i mean the mythology).

I just hope they do something "Saw-like," where in a few seconds of speedy flashbacks and quick images you manage to understand everything. That would be nice lol.

Where was all this information 10-15 episodes ago? I would've been more invested in the characters and story if they explained this sooner.

It's just too late in the game for all this.

...Confusing...it feels like they are jumping from stone to stone, sometimes i couldn't see the point to all of this..new characters suddenly appearing then disappearing but leaving another hole in the story and making it confusing....

HOW COULD THEY KILL MAMIKO NOTO!?
Ruruta is equally lame for forgetting her. He should have been able to overpower the Argax. I guess he almost made it all up when he killed a ton of people.

Damn what an amazing backstory! Rather sad though those new introduced characters are really great but do have their sad back stories! Good choose on voice cast for Nieniu!

The episodes sure are getting better and better! The ending sure was amazing!

Yep, it was the dead lover, oh gods what petty tricks you play. And you wonder why people rebel so much?

I was not expecting a Hamy OHKO though, that was unexpected.

So we get the people that were absorbed in the tree of Ruruta lived on.

Coolio, Winkney, Alme, Kachua.

I was wondering where was Noloty and Volken, but Volken's book is with Hamy and Noloty is with Enrique. It never got absorbed to the tree.

So Ruruta is supposed to be the savior of the world. Fell in love with Niiniu. Then he was just a pawn like everyone else. Niiniu get's "killled" but revived by the creator/God.

Now, God explains how the world is the 694th version and humans keeps making the same mistake all the time.

At least, that's the gist of it. I'm sure there are more important details later on.

Still need to know who Hamy truly is. And why did Olivia fell asleep as well? I thought she was going to have an important role, same with Enrique.

Is Hamy going to live? 2 episodes left!
