| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I love Akira's expression when he got Meiren's candy :D There is always a chance of a romance between them but not that I think it will happen:) but the episode turn out to be a pretty good one :D It'a all Akira again in the end so hopefully he can survive the fight. I don't really understand why so many tough opponents came after him and the surprising thing is that they are all fighting against one and another as well instead of teaming up against Akira, but that might work for him though. Mina on the other hand seem to be in a dangerous situation but I guess they are going to make Akira save her from the crisis :D |

| The story can be divided into three parts the first being completely stupid fan service....only thing that was interesting was the beginning with Akira's dream...looks like he has dreams of the princess dying being stabbed by something. The second part I found good was all about Meiren and I know she wanted to be etchi with Akira (if I understood she said her three sizes 83-58-87).....I believe now that many parts in the DVDs willl have nipples and exposed breasts from that just one censoring of Meiren when she was wet and you could see the transparency....anyways the most interesting about Meiren was that flashback of the Mina giving her candy....was she a human child captured then turned like that by the Mina or she just saved her somehow is not clear but being in chains not sure... Meiren's philosphy with the butterfly was interesting in itself since it had to do with Akira's dream from the beginning. The last part was incredible....all the important people from the vampires came and that battle was something I did not understand....suddenly one person comes then some other one fights him when clearly it had to get rid of Akira.....Of all things they strip Mina at the end stark naked? I wonder what was serious...whatever it is sound more a conspiracy to me then anything.....thing is that it's complicated and will be trouble to solve. |

| So the infamous 'purity check' scene is going to be next week. We'll probably get epileptic slideshow consisting of some bright colors. Either way, this anime is a joke so far. Inconsistent animation quality and all the stills and insert colors are bad. Censoring is not as bad as those mentioned. They'll probably do second season or ova as there can't be any 'real' ending going side-to-side comparison with manga. |

| I really like this episode.This episode is very smooth and easy to watch( or maybe it just because i am watching in the late midnight ) very confuse,does that mean Akira(struggle??) is the butterfly and Mina is the flower(vampire's throne)......does that mean Akira gonna die?? 純潔審問(purity test)?? such thing still exist in present day?? This isn't any news...half of the episodes of Bakemonogatari were half done and they aired them, the only thing I can say about the quality is wait for Blu Ray rips because yeah, Shaft has major budget issues on everything it seems and they compensate by putting rainbows and random cutscenes in everything. Second season is most likely, it's licensed by Funimation and it's relatively popular in Japan. They have 2 outlets to sell DVD's / Blu Rays to suckers who pay for anime and the manga is relatively popular here as well with the fat fangirls. |

The first half of the episode was unnecessary and could've been used to flesh out more of the final arc. They seem to have finally revealed Meiren's role in all of this. As for the purity test, |

| Very interesting episode. When I thought about the purity test, all I thought about is horny old men beating off each other. It makes me sick but, that's another story. Merien (not sure if I spelled it right) has a great personality. She is very good at teasing and helps add a bit of depth to the storyline; kind of like a comic relief. |

| I love this arc, but it totally started horribly. That's NOT how the arc starts and it pissed me off. Also, the candy girl is wayyy pissing me off! | When did the random censors get here? -Ah, so that's why Meiren's there. Okay. Now this is making a little more sense. They obviously wouldn't have had enough time in two episodes to cover the detective guy so they introduced Meiren to...okay, I get it now.....That's actually quite ingenious. That being said.... BULLSH*T! I was looking forward to Kamen Rider Detective dude! -This episode was giving me mixed emotions. The first part was like "ugh, that never happened. Looks like their ending it with some filler crud." Then the second part was like "Oh snap, this is the best arc of the manga! They've actually planned this out." Then I saw Kamen Rider dude with breasts and my hopes just died. Still, I'm surprised like in general that they're even doing this arc. -The preview made me laugh so hard, I watched it like three times. |
