| Episodes involving Sano and Megumi are are always welcome, I hope they get some development later on. Sano deserves a women every now and then and Megumi seems to always be getting saved by him. Kenshin's appearance was short but he made the most of it. It's nice seeing him lose his cool and tear fodders apart. |

| Showing up at the end of the episode is just Kenshin's style. It was cool seeing Megumi again. Makes her feel a little more whole as a character. Now if we could just develop the ones we see all the time... |
| Felt like filler at the start but this was really fun. Got the biggest LOL from me so far with the old man putting his back out (well, they animated it funny...), followed by the quack going all-out chanting on the bridge. |

| I skipped that stupid freak's chanting/prayer stuffs, but aside from all that stupidity, this was a pretty good episode, I like the SanoxMegumi-ish moments. Shipping them so much. And Kenshin was AWESOME at the end. XD Also, was that one guy wearing makeup?? O_o That whole group was full of wackos... |
| That episode was like a warning to not trust quack scam and to take your doctor prescription xD But it was fun, when Sanosuke and Kenshin appeared. They rekt'ed those scums. They would have deserved worse though. Like, being arrested? What if they start the same thing in another city? |

| Girl's father: "What's going on??" Yahiko, one second later: "At least we finally figured out what's going on!" Another instance of fairly generic villains and Kenshin stepping in last minute to save the day. The characters are always likeable though, which helps make the episode fun to watch anyway. I did like troll (kitsune?) Megumi at the end, and it was nice learning more about her and what she values. |

| I liked the focus on Megumi and Sanosuke. I wish they had just solved the problem though; Kenshin getting involved just felt forced and unnecessary. The animation and art was also different here, with the blood being transparent (during fights) and characters looking slicker. |

| There is some reconciliation between Megumi and Sano in the manga (and that's a good thing, given the consequences of what Takeda forced her to do), but these small moments in the fillers seem to frame her as enemies-to-lovers with Sano. Other than that, good message from this Megumi-centric episode. Feigning illness, scamming the sick girls' parents out of their money, Raiko is a scumbag. While mostly original, the fight against the Hishimanji gang with Kenshin slicing cannonballs was taken from chapter 4, with the setting changed from the Kamiya Kasshin-ryu dojo to Raiko's mansion. |
