| I feel like I'm enjoying this than the first cour already. Love the new OP song and visuals that i had to pause a lot to appreciate each shot. Was trying to guess who's familiar voice is singing the ED til the chorus and realize it's Nagi Yanagi!! It's been a while since i watched an anime with her in. The MCs dating other people didn't bother me cause it feels like they'll get back together anyway. Hyouka is my all-time favorite so i trust the author. I would usually lose interest when they add new characters and take too much spotlight but i was not bothered by Urino-kun here and the other new characters. This episode was already a blast I'm excited for the upcoming ones and to know what Osanai has been doing lol |

| Love how Urino is so oblivious and treats Osanai-san like a cute animal. Urino dear, you're already burning... Also whew, that dialogue on making your mark is so fire. Especially how the second line reveals Osanai's character: "That feeling must be like being the first to leave footprints in fresh snow Then, you shovel all the snow away so no one else can leave their own footprints." |

| This anime's visuals are fucking astonishing. Those backgrounds are amazingly beautiful and detailed, it's clear they didn't spare a thought and a second of effort building this entire anime. The lightning, the camera angles, the close-ups and the duration of each scene, it's all surgically perfect. |

| I debated reading the novels after the first season ended but decided against it since I wanted to see it animated and it didn't disappoint. I doubt arson will top the kidnapping from last season, but I can guess who caused it. |

| I am so happy that the second season is coming out so we now get more of whatever this is. The plot is probably going to be really strange however the animation is cool. Also i swear the main dude didn't look like that in season 1. |

| absolutely ass, which pains me to say because i was such a big fan of the first season until the last episode, especially since it's by hyouka's creator. but yeah nah, don't care about this guy so far. interest is dropping quick. |

| Urino and Osanai together have pretty good chemistry but from what I saw it doesn't seem like it is the same between Kobato and Nakamaru but to be fair they only had one scene in this episode so maybe it'll be better in future episodes banger op and ed music and visual-wise though so that's hype |

| Wtf why were the opening visuals so good lmao. I guess I shouldnt be too surprised with how the direction of season one was. Pretty interesting to start season 2 off basically following new characters. And I'm pretty sure they were first years last season so the new year has started. We see how our boy Jou will get involved now though and Osanai is pretty sus in general. |

Even if Osanai ends up not being the arsonist herself I think she ends up being involved one way or another, especially with the text she received stating , "I think the column's gonna turn out good!" Her smile after receiving that text was also suspicious... |

@Alfredo-Sauce yeah, that reminds me of one of my favourite moments from the last season It was only shown for a brief second at the very end of the 6th episode, I haven't noticed it the first time watching it. This satisfied smile was because at this point she was able to set up every piece on the board, after this we only watched the events unfold. What makes this a lot better that the episode was basically about Kobato "setting a trap" for Osanai with the sweets, but in the meanwhile he didn't notice that he fell into a way bigger trap Osanai has set for him, it was really cool, this was the moment when "the outsmarter got outsmarted". |
