There's also research involved, so it follow a fundamental way of strategizing. Kirika seems like the type that looks ahead of what's in front of her with plans. |

| 5/5, where's the sex in this sex championship? Kirihimi thought she was buying them for a bargain, but all she really did is set them up once again for potential to own her. The back & forth. Kid truly is an IT wizard getting 901 points while top bracket with likely 4 (or more since taking advantage of online also) only got 2301 TOPS. This duo is great and I look forward to more. I don't think Kirihimi meant like win-win, and more like get better offers win. Just getting to mid-tier right now is huge, but obviously not the goal to win the Trillion Game. |

| @FarCritical Can't believe anything out of his mouth wwwwww, he really knows how to get emotions going though, having it be visual rather than verbal was a smart move if he actually didn't, but I'm more on the side saying he lied about his sentimental value to the watch for this moment. Edit: I should say trust, as you never know if fact or fiction. I have friend who I don't think lies to me, but reminds me of the charismatic MC and I don't trust a word from his mouth hahaha. |

| Haru did some serious networking which is what he's good at because he loves to talk. Now Gaku has the needed support to take on the Sex SEC Championship. Hopefully they would be able to attract better investors because Kirika's offer was too steep at 51% which she may as well just own the new company. |

| Still mostly annoyed by Haru, but this bit is fun. Sounds like a puzzle hunt. Though I assure you at those the top teams will just throw a hundred people at it if no one stops them. Like @FarCritical I wonder if the watch is just missing to make Gaku react this way. That'd be neat. Not like 100 cases of beer is an out of reach amount. We've already gotten a hint Haru has some actual experiences when he knew French and Chinese. |

| This is just stupid! For one these guys have no idea what they want to do with their start up but that Dragon Bank woman still agrees to give them a huge amount. Now they participate in a CTF event and Haru magically gathers 100 cyber security experts that too with just the cost of his watch!? How did he even manage to find so many people, not everyone into IT would be knowledgeable enough to participate in CTF events. |

| The investment Kirihime offers them of course comes with a catch. Rather than take it, Haru uses the offer itself as an attention grabber when signing up Gaku to a security championship (not sex championship lol). But not before networking with IT people over alcohol. Finals are a long way and even someone with Gaku’s skills can’t keep up when every other competitor is in a teams. That is when Haru reveals he pawned off the watch he had spent his saving on to persuade the IT people to help, this act of friendship puts Gaku into serious mode. |

And for a start, the SEC-CHAMP a.k.a the 24-Hour "Capture the Flag" Security Championship where reputable companies and their teams participate in the hacking tournament, and both guys take a dive into Dragon Bank's upcoming event...with their absurd teamname to sell themselves out for Kirihime for better terms. What a gamble for the world's selfish man who thinks that he's entering a sex championship. While Haru is playing on his own terms, all the work is left to Gaku, the one-man team who has to do the work of many...is right smack in the middle of the rankings. And what does Haru bring to the table? An online consortium team of 100 advisors, including the people he'd met at the mixer the other day, it's his networking that seals the deal, and works all for help with sacrificing his watch knowing that he'd make the cut to win, by hook or by crook. The Power of (Networking) Friendship, here to save the day for Gaku. |

| I can't believe how I foresaw that "devil investor" line in a comment on the previous episode without having read the manga.. I actually wrote demon investor, but in Japanese devil and demon are used interchangeably as loan words; or, I think, 'devil' is used to mean 'demon' while 'oni' is used for demons. |
