This turns out to be one of Glenn's first chances to get his revenge. The past connects to the present. Glenn feels like the underdog this episode but at least they got emotions and expressions right. More suffering for Glenn physically and mentally. Wied is someone to keep an eye on as someone with decent knowledge about their world and its lore. |

Damn Koinzell really just subdued Aht with his edgelord aura alone. Poor Peepi got her name reveal Peepi-blocked yet again, and she's not even fazed by it herself anymore lol |

Aren't they skipping a lot? Or is the novel different in how the succession of events occurs? This should happen later.... I wonder how they will reconcile this. @ComboSmooth no. But If you are concern about this thing maybe you should avoid the manga. Is much more explicit in many ways. The show is about how power corrupts and about how history is often written by the winners. Is about war, magic and the two sides of the debate if the goal excuses the means. Oh and not to spoil it but it also asks if a clone has your memories and thought patterns you have is it you? @Stark700 Glenn is the bad guy. Manipulating everyone. Koinzell tries to get revenge . You are confusing them. Koinzell is the single underdog... the small fairy hybrid... |

Hello I'm gonna say each week what they skipped (I'm not saying anything bad or trying to be negative just info) They adapted 6 chapter (in the first 6 minutes they adapted 2 chapter)(if counting volume 0 there on 19 chapter if not on start of 16) The changes: In the first scene the woman has clothe but in the manga she has no clothe, They skipped 5 really important pages lol of Kolnzell and Glenn back story which is really important imo. They skipped the first 6 pages where they wonder if kolnzell is somebody and that Glenn send troupes to find out about the prophecy, they skipped a backstory of the girl who wanted revenge for his brother which was 1 page also Wied and his brother 1 page back story, they chose to skip a page where a soldier says "before his blade becomes a tool of revenge agaibst the empire I will kill him even at the cost of my own life",5 more pages describing the village + Peppi determination how she wants to fight and save like Kolnzell,6 pages of Kolnzell having trauma for what Glenn did, skipped like 7 chapters on how the girl ppicks up the sword and almost strikes him but eventually it's Wied who strikes him,Wied back story which was 1 page, skipped 3 pages on how they found peepi and the others, skipped a page on how the bald guy said that he is the are under the protection of the landgrave army and that's it finally with some dialogue changes too and cutting a lot of dialogues |

Honestly, it makes sense that they are rushing. I just finished Episode 3 and I was super lost with how fast everything was moving and new characters were getting introduced. it also doesn't help they have difficult-to-remember names. |

what a nonsense episode, to be honest. first they tried to put in a climax out of nowhere, failed it then went on to complicate other things like getting new characters out of air plus all other stories or settings... this anime quality is sad beyond all reasons, it's dumb and ridiculous at this point lol one more ep of this and I'm gonna drop it, damn... people not putting their heart into making anime these days, it's so disappointing. |

@ComboSmooth well they do not seem to have winter and seems pretty hot weather. So it makes sorta of a sense but is just edgy thing actually. Personally I just ignored it. "Notable examples being when that new girl, friend of eye-patch face (as you can tell, im great with names) attacked peepi/koinzell." Koinzell went to kill the false Asheriit and killed her brother in the process as it was transformed into a monster and attacked him. Again cut content. The smugger was depressed because the place where she smuggled those people seemed just as bad as the place from where they left ( and it was). That is why she cries when she gets thanked. Again lots of cut content. |

@AramHovhanued So that's why this episode felt all over the place. Going to give it 1-2 more episodes but the possibility of improvement isn't very high... The worst thing is that I feel lost in this setting and they're not even trying to explain it properly. |

Episode 3 completely destroyed everything I had gotten from Episodes 1 and 2. I never imagined the MC would be so pathetic and idiotic as to go after the seven heroes like a rabid dog—it ruined my experience. They’re trying way too hard to make the show appear mysterious. The flow of the episode was erratic, and I couldn’t enjoy the second half at all. Things didn’t make sense, and the pacing suddenly sped up way too much. |

This is my first exposure to the series and I have to say, while the first two episodes felt fine, this episode felt completely disjointed. The story was all over the place and felt rushed. It seemed to adapt multiple chapters and jumped all over the place. Koinzel's confrontation while Glenn, the fight with Aht, and the scenes at the refugee camp. it all should have been split across two or three episodes not all crammed into one. The action scenes felt really low budget too. The big action shots were just stills. Such a disappointment. |

They completely butchered the source material. Horrible adaptation. They don't introduce the characters properly and just jump from one setpiece to another. Why bother even adapting an old manga if you're going to do such a shoddy job of it. |

What a disaster. I don’t understand why they would destroy the potential of the show like this. What do they even gain from it? The majority of people clearly aren’t okay with it. I’m not sure about the Japanese audience’s reaction, but I can’t imagine they’d be pleased with so many pacing issues either. |

Not going to lie, I felt kind of lost this episode. Not because it was complicated by any means, but it felt super disjointed. The scenes were bouncing around far too quickly. I'm pretty sure like 75% of the characters shown this episode were new? Maybe I just didn't pay great attention to the previous episodes, but they felt a lot smoother than this one. I took away that Koinzell hopped in the middle of like a 1000 people to kill one of the 7, but obviously failed. Then we were suddenly in a scene that felt important, but was super rushed. Some princess wanted to kill him for murdering her brother and she has connections to party member dude. Peepi found some homies and finally Koinzell is chopping up some rando NPCs. It seems like a lot more important stuff was happening between and during those events, but the rushed nature of the episode didn't allow more than that to sink in. At least from my perspective. |

I was so hype when this show was announced as I had just started reading the manga but after 3 episodes I think I’m going to drop it. I know what’s going on and I’m even confused. They introduce Aht without showing why she was mad at Koinzell which I guess they could show later but IMO that needlessly complicates the plot. With so much stuff being cut and censored I think I’m just going to go back to reading the manga. No idea why they are speed running through everything but it is making it impossible for me to enjoy it. Maybe someone who hasn’t read the manga might enjoy this more but I unfortunately am not. |

Kind of disappointed in this show The PV, the description and the hype all said this was a revenge-fest power fantasy. I went into it expecting a revenge fest power fantasy. And MC is already falling out of the sky, unable to stand up and fight another loli, collapsing on the ground and moping, freezing up in front of that Hero dude... what the hell I'm not gonna watch 50 episodes of "AAawwwaghhh!! I can't do it! AH NEEDA GET STRONGERRRRR!!!" Fuck that shit. Why isn't he already strong. Koinzell already turned into a helpless weakling. Who is strong- this "Octopus" guy, he's kind of funny and awesome... But there's way too many characters being thrown in and all this backstory stuff like we're supposed to know who they are, and there's only been 2 episodes. If it doesn't get back to being a power fantasy like it's sup- wait- did he just slash all five of those guys? Geezus.... Weird and sloppily written episode, hopefully it improves. This episode was boring, let this be the only boring episode PLEASE! |

@mangabboy I will start reading the manga soon because Episode 3 dropped the ball and makes it so confusing. Episodes 1 and 2 are okay despite omissions. If you who have read many volumes and you're confused, I'm afraid the anime is shit. I thought at first that it was good. |

Fuck I keep forgetting to watch this show on Fridays. Forgot the day it comes out This adaptation is horrible. Even as an anime only I can tell it’s being rushed as fuck and missing a lot. Feels like things are happening at breakneck speed and there’s so many characters being introduced so soon. And that’s not even to mention the awful animation. The world and lore is kinda interesting though. I could see the manga being a much better experience. LMAO at Koinzell doing all that aura farming and shit talking just to get folded as soon as he saw his old buddy. I guess in the 20 years since the betrayal, the fake heroes really did become OP. Gonna take Koinzell getting way stronger to deal with em What’s the deal with Geranpen too? Because he speaks using Kashira which is a feminine way to end sentences that means “I wonder” and imagines himself as a Valkyrie of sorts. The other guy said he saw Geranpen kidnap the girl too so maybe someone’s just taking his appearance? |

Having read the manga when it was publishing and really liking it, I do think the anime adaptation is lacking. It's not about the sex scenes or gore stuff, manga would have been still great without them. The pace is really weird, the story and world building are, for now at least, not really well done, we don't know or understand shit. It may be nostalgia-bias, but I really don't think I felt this weird about it with the start of the manga, or am I alone in that sentiment, fellow manga readers ? |

@MonsieurPapillon I'm starting the manga, and even reading it at a leisurely pace, it can still potentially be confusing. Volume 0 starts media res, and there's a lot of names you have to keep track of. Reading it has convinced me that the anime has butchered it because the faster pace of the anime is not helping people at all. Too bad because the first two episodes had me convinced that this anime is an underrated gem. |
