Novelist Kazuki Kaburagi's series is just about as standard as it goes for the stereotypical Isekai reincarnation story. XIIX's OP is rather OK and the same goes for Humbreaders's ED. Starting off with the childhood features, the "re"birth of Shion capturing the attention of his older sister Marie to take care of him like any other close sibling would in a lower-class noble family, but for its world to know not of demons nor magic, it's a rather surprising fantasy world that's off of the stereotypical. Shion and Marie are like best buddy siblings, with the latter older sister taking care of her younger brother and her athletics better than Shion's, their good time coupled with yet another girl of Rose, who could also see the aforementioned magic through balls of light through the etten trout fishes they've been capturing. Also, siblings obviously can't get married to each other (as much as Marie wants to marry her own brother so badly), and the realization of magic only solidifies Shion's new Isekai reincarnation life to want to figure out what magic is there in the fantasy world. A kiddy-style Isekai, there're tons of them, but this is quite homey. A bit stale, but it needs more to go on with it. |

I don’t care that he liked magic or whatever. Yeah, it’s weird, but stories need some kind of gimmick, right? Like, sure, dreaming about magic and powers when you’re 30, 40, 60, who cares. But this dude? He stays up until midnight on his birthday to chant spells. What?? And don’t even get me started on how he acts with his new family. This guy’s got issues. He wasted his first life hoping magic was real, and now he’s in some other world where magic doesn’t even exist. Can’t even do a basic spell. Like, wow, this sucks. If the next two episodes don’t change something big, I’m out. |

I'm so confused, in the beginning the MC is supposed to be 3 but doesn't act like any 3 year old ever ever seen, and the dialogue is so strange. The father speaks to him in a way that is way too adult compared to how people actually speak to kids that age. Strange show |

@DexterLivingston dunno what's so confusing, the last line of the episode is "in this world I've been reincarnated into, I'm going to make magic!" |

This is smart but lazy author. In other to make this unlike other isekai, instead of taking time reinventing the genre, the story is written in a manner of being a normal isekai as usual, but the evil trick is that, the author shift the main perspective, instead of making the isekai guy the hero of the story, the leading role actually belong to his sister instead. (As in we're hearing her inner voice instead of his inner voice) And I hope this is not just the gimmick for the first episode, otherwise this would play out just like dozens of isekai anime out there. |

This looks like it'll be a fun show, but I'm a little thrown off by how the children between the ages of 5-10 talk like adults. I hope they either have another time jump so that the dialogue is less unrealistic, or that the dialogue just becomes more age-appropriate. The animation is also fairly pretty, which is nice :) |

I liked the pacing and tone, the ages were all wrong tho, I hope their siblings love stays as that but with these authors you know it won't be the case. |

The first episode is a serviceable start but doesn’t bring much new to the isekai genre. While the concept of crafting magic has potential, the execution feels rushed, and the protagonist lacks a strong presence to carry the story. The visuals and world-building are decent, but nothing stands out as particularly memorable. If you’re a fan of isekai and enjoy light, easy-going adventures, it’s worth a look, but it may not leave a lasting impression. |

Hold up, now that's a unique way to start an isekai π― Instead of the mc's point of view we get to witness things from the sister's perspective, that's so cool! Brocon shenanigans aside, she is such a caring big sister! Always looking out for her little bro π And the way she got worried when he started asking about monsters and magic was so precious! I mean I would also be concerned if my younger sibling suddenly went delulu and started asking weird question out of nowhere π
But for her to go the extra mile to cheer up her brother by helping him research this unheard magic thing was so adorable! For this episode alone she definitely derserves the award for best sister of the season imo! And hey, with how the mc said he won't marry anyone so he can be with his sister, maybe we could actually get a good take on the incest route for once? It at least sounds like an interesting take on the usual incest nonsense in anime. But I'm not gonna get my hopes up π This whole thing is probably gonna turn into a harem anyway down the line, judging by the amount of female characters... |

@Ckea you think tata shion married with her sister (Foster sister) as the main wife and the rest of the harem as concubines |

Starting the show from the perspective of the active daughter / sister, when the boy is reincarnated ( or "isekai-ed" ) into this world, was interesting. He is going to "make magic" in this world, hmmm interesting. I am curious what they are going to do with this plot. Also, it seems the "magic" in this world, is from pure love, or some sort of "feelings" between living creatures. Curious that only a few people could see it though. |

MoistGal said: Magic through incest!?! That's certainly new Or is it? Also That's definitely not how a 3 year old looks or talks You gotta be watching something else mate, since incest is a sexual relationship between 2 related people, which I didn't see here. Also very astute of you to notice that shion is in fact not a normal 3 year old. You're almost there buddy, just use your one remaining neuron from all the masturbating a little more and you'll figure it out. |

So I guess, it's not like magic in itself didn't exist in this world, it's just humans were not using it/have not found it yet. Maybe people in the past also saw these glowing spheres of fish mating, but since they didn't know what it was, since they didn't even have a concept of the word "magic", no one really investigated it. I hope the show won't go the incest route, specially since the MC is reincarnated. |

If only they had not included the Sister & Brother love thing, I would absolutely have loved everything about this show. But that weirdly made it feel like the start of some weird taboo hentai. Well hopefully that 1st impression is wrong or kept toned down, because I found the rest of it fairly interesting. The idea that these children are the ones discovering & developing magic in this World caught my interest. |

Goofy show. 35 year old shoved in a babys body, looks up to his sister. Finds out magic is formed when fish copulate and then gets the same reaction when hugging his sister? This is going to turn into incest garbage no doubt in my mind |

Magic through incest? Bro are you fr? Um, this is quite new and idek what to say but I'm feeling conflicted sorta. OP is catchy, ED is decent, animation is decent too. As for the concept of making magic by mating or bonding by the opposite sex or whatever, it's new. I guess I'll stick with this to see where it goes. |

I know they are just kids, and the sister doesn’t understand what marriage means which is pretty normal, but Shion saying he’ll never get married or have kids so he can be with his sister is super disordered. Imagine letting your bloodline die so you can be with your sister and create magical incest sparkles. |

Err, did I miss something or they didn't even introduce the MC in his previous life or why he's looking for magic? Did they not even both setting up basic Isekai truck-hitting-mc premise even? This is the start of a trash-tier anime. - Godawful premise and storytelling? Check. - Incest? Check. - Loli/pedo softcore for perverts? Check. - Kids acting like adults cause the fucking writer can't write kids but still wants his loli-porn so made the lead a kid anyway? Check. - Garbage animation/art? Check. - Generic "magic" with floating shitty orbs trying to be "magical fish semen"? Check. My first impression from looking at the art on the main page itself was, "Wow this looks like shit." Not sure why I still watched the first episode, expecting something different (definition of madness). |

@patkarunungan Yeah I only knew it was an Isekai cause of the description here. This is just lazy. Did they think they had some groundbreaking story to tell and couldn't afford to spend time doing a MC intro? It'll be hilarious if they try to give his background info in a flashback in later episodes, like they're surprising the viewers with it. Basically, opening episode doesn't show the MC as anything special. Has no cool skillset, is not a genius, has no emotional background story to identify with him, nothing. He is basically an uninteresting side-character to his sister who's chewing the scenery with her generic "I'LL PROTECT YOU CAUSE I WANNA MARRY YOU LELINCEST" shtick over and over again (seriously, they repeated her two lines using different words for the whole episode). This story is 100% written as a incest-loli fetish for the writer, director and perverts. Maybe I'll endure two more episodes to see if they do something interesting with it. Some shows take a bit to get started, who knows? Maybe loli-incest is just in the first episode and the pigs will fly. |

The borderline lolicon, incestuous nature of the first episode kind of killed it for me. The "boy" is still mentally a 30+yo man, declaring his love for his child sister. I get that the idea was to use it as a gimmick to introduce the main plot of the story. But, yuck... There are certainly less creepy ways to go about it. |

@DexterLivingston Well, from the context of the scene, the boy was always too mature for his age, so the father should be used to him. Besides, maybe he is noble, or education matters a lot in his universe. Come on, it's just an anime series. |
