It’s a chinese anime (donguha), meant to be watched as such. It could take some time getting used to but you should embrace it!

I watched it in English dub and I think its actually pretty good.The voice actors did a pretty good job in this anime I guess.

Depends which language sounds more appealing to you. I prefer Japanese better as I can hear words while in Chinese it seems they're saying without any space, tho I'm not familiar with Chinese it just sounds like this for me.

Also people who recommend English dub tend to forget ofc that not everyone is American/English.

If you have an option either japanese or English, go for japanese. At least you'd be sure you're not watching a mid version

well, I watched it in the English dub and I can assure you that's really good so I highly recommend it you can check the English dub. (if you're not an English dub hater of course)

Takes a little bit to get used to if its ur first Chinese anime but the Chinese voice actors are great.

Goated show, i watched dubbed at first then went to Chinese cuz dub was taking forever back in season 1 when it was airing dubs.

Unless the new semi season is airing with the Japanese dub at the same time I'd just do the Chinese dub so you don't have to wait or have it feel disjointed.

since the usual reason for watching a show in japanese over english dub is because it was originally intended to be in japanese, same logic applies, it just works better in its original language, although the english dub is also pretty nice, i just dont see a point in watching in a language it wasnt originally in and on top of that, a language you dont natively speak

It's actually Mandarin not Chinese. Unless you speak Japanese natively why would you even consider it?

I always prefer to watch shows in their original language! This is because while it’s great dubs exist, they are not a perfect representation of the original media as the animation was lined up for the original language, not another. Dubs are just a great resource for those that need or prefer them!

I'd totally recommend chinese dub cuz imo jap dub doesn't really suit the characters but it wasn't so bad watching it in chinese is much better actually

There's no guarantee on that. Many subtitled shows have glaring translation errors as well. "Planetes," for example, frequently leaves out entire sentences.

Chinese easily. The Japanese version of that ED does not hit 10x as hard compared to the Chinese version.
