Ye, this case got strange. Not only did we get a second murder but it also connects to the past and events from years ago in this arc's story.

Ron's emotions were definitely boiling this time around. It seems that guests in this episode might all be suspects in one form or another.

I'm actually shocked at what the doctor done to the researcher, injecting anesthesia is very invasive practice. His crime is very close to murder.

Was the whole menu thing really that not obvious that it needed such pointed and dragged-out exposition? Thought it was pretty clear after the very first one. And Sakai yet again only there to cook...

The plot twist is neat though, if a little expected. Seeing Ron completely shut down and switched off is actually scarier than all the murders, especially as it was such a crash to zero right after his stress level went through the roof with all the revelations.

Well, I knew this was a giant trap for Ron. And now it's sprung, it's aim is to break his Spirit. Maybe they will try to claim him as a prize.

Yes! It's strange how they act as if they weren't doing anything that could possibly let other person do bad things to the man

For the sake of my own sanity I hope the orange hair women is the killer. Finally this is getting interesting with Toto taking over the case instead of just being Ron's lapdog.

Holy shit this was an awesome episode. I had just been complaining about the lack of House of M content over the last few weeks and they turn around and give us more than we could ever have hoped for today. So much good lore and revelations about Ron’s family!!

Had a hunch Ron’s dad was connected to House of M, but holy shit being a Moriarty himself! IIRC they said Ron was a mix of Holmes and Moriarty blood so I reckon that Holmes bit comes from the mom side? This explains his murderous tendencies, sadly we can’t control our parents but we can control who we become.

Just because your dad was evil doesn’t mean you have to be, Ron! Also, I’m kinda thinking the blonde dude in charge of House of M and Ron are brothers and this whole game is a way of showing Ron that. Someone clearly wants to try and break Ron with this and so far they’re doing a good job, but thankfully they haven’t accounted for Toto

The audacity of the one lady to blame this on Ron for being the son of the murderer meanwhile every one of them bums were more than ok with being accessory to murder for a damn emerald and a dinner. Only one who’s innocent is the 17 year old girl idk why she had to get involved she wasn’t even alive lmao

Everyone insisting on going to their rooms is such a classic “characters being dumb” move in a murder mystery. Why would that make any sense?

Anyway, Isshiki might try to solve this one on his own? That would be hype if he does! We’ll see if Ron snaps out of it before then.

I yelled at the screen when they all said that, so stupid. 🀣
Overall though the episode was really good, I wish we had gotten more of this instead of the filler cases that made up most of this season.

Figured this would be one hell of a reunion but dang. Now Ron is broken and Toto is trying to solve the case without him. He's a true mare for sure but I don't know how he's going to handle this.

Kind of crazy to have hung out with your possible cousins when you were kid while mastering crime skills. Considering the house of M hates him so much and left that scar, I got a bad feeling for Ron when he eventually picks himself up from the traumatic reveal.

On another note, Ron should've known something was going to happen when they picked up the frame. Lack of attention due to overwhelming curiosity in the moment perhaps?

Now that I'm older the drama just hits different. Dude is going though a mental crisis but in my eyes all I'm thinking is "such vanity". It almost want to make you roll your eyes that the lil man is being a complete child right now. Maybe disassociation and objective thinking just become easier the older you get.

Oh man now we’re really getting into the meat of this arc, lots of reveals in this episode. As expected, each of the guests were involved with Ron’s dad 17 years ago, but it’s funny how they’re all claiming to be innocent when they did in fact help kill a guy lol, like most of them I get, Dan just led a guy to a pregnant woman, taxi driver just drove them to the hospital, security lady just unlocked a door, but the doctor shoulda known he was doing bad by injecting the dude with anesthesia and leaving him outside lol, and then there was Gardner who drove the unconscious man and dropped him off, some are more innocent than others for sure.

And then there’s poor Mia, she wasn’t even born yet but ended up in this situation anyway, I hope over the rest that she gets out of this alive, unless she’s the killer lol. And then there was the stuff with Ron discovering his dad was a Moriarty and unlocked core memories, sad to see Ron in this state but hopefully Ron being out of commission means Toto can truly shine, I just hope he can help Ron realize that he doesn’t have to go down the same path as his dad just because they’re the same blood.

And there goes the doctor, RIP, I mean he kinda asked for it by going to his room alone (why would anyone want to be alone in this situation lol) but still sad to see him go. I really am curious as to who is doing this, is it really one of them or is there someone else there? My money is on Winter being disguised as one of the guests but we shall see, I mean she does have very convincing skin suits and acting skills.

When I was watching this episode, there were three people I found suspicious.

1. The doctor - being that he was a medical expert, he could kill someone and make up clues to hide his involvement with the crime.

2. The orange haired lady - While she lacks any involvement, she seemed to notice things similar to Ron. So, she could have set it up as well.

3. The Chef - he has plausible deniability. Anytime people ask him something, he keeps saying, “I’m just the hired help.” He could play a straight man and no one would suspect him.

While some things changed this episode (like the doctor dying and orange haired lady girl turning out to be the child to the pregnant lady), I feel like these are still the most suspicious to me. Especially since I’m not sure if the doctor is truly dead. Unless he suffocated because of the fire extinguisher foam, there isn’t as obvious stuff to prove he is dead.

@chenfeng I completely disagree. He was brainwashed by his own father, and his father is a part of the most evil crime sindicate in this story. And he just remembered all of his lost childhood memories. Hard to expect he won't experience CPTSD effects. More, contemporary murders are done by someone from his father's family. It's all personal now, not a fascinating brain teaser like before.

Like from all the people the only two I can consider kind of innocent is the lawyer and woman who opened the door. The others were pretty much understanding that they are abducting someone (maybe taxi driver is too) especially doctor and gardener and everyone is too relaxed about it and my most hateful criminal trope used 'lets go to our rooms where we gonna be alone' Its such a lazy way of writing and I hate it

Well at this point it is basically easy to understand and narrow down the suspicion to Tiger Dan and Karen Lily...
And I kind of wonder at this time both might be doing this together...
First Gardner was murdered in closed room and we really don't know about his picking skills(Karen knows)
Gardner holds a flower named Tiger Lily(checked on web)which Tiger tried to check/remove from his hand(Toto interrupted)
We weren't really told about seperate bathroom sets and if the corpse of Sasaoka is carried it might be difficult for Tiger alone...
Bill basically created the opening for his murder while Tiger took the advantage...Karen did the diversion...

Now im curious how the Moriarty-Sherlock parents got together.

Hoping that Mia is not the culprit coz I think she would have the motive to avenge her parents, probably being manipulated by Milo.

Still don't know a thing about the Chef except from being sus.

These are the kind of episodes that makes this series great and at the moment I'm not really sure whodunit as everyone that is sill alive is suspicious (minus Toto and Ron) and that includes Mia, the 17 year old girl. For all we know maybe she was manipulated by the House of M to avenge the murder now that she's a young adult and is after everyone that was involved. For that matter, the same could be said for the cook as he continues to play dumb by saying he's just hired help. Regardless of who it is I'm looking forward to the next episode.

ron finally learns his father is part of the house of m (whom i suspect was the former head). that fact really knocked out his psyche, leading toto to shine in the next episode! i was hoping fucking karen, i mean lily was the next victim considering what a fucking bitch she was towards ron. but nah, the dumbass surgeon gotta become the next victim after wanting to be alone and rest from the info dump while knowing there's still a FREAKING killer running around the place. idjits, the lot of them.

This is so very similar to Agatha Christie’s book “And Then There Were None” that I caught on immediately. The mystery is pretty obvious and the plot twists are what you would expect, but it is still very fun to see it all come together. Also poor guy Ron, he’s been mentally addled with and seeing his struggle is heart wrenching. And especially after his talk about knowing how to think like a killer we figure out he dad orchestrated a whole murder (and possibly more. AND taught him how to kill). It makes me sick.
My theory is that the blond guy in Ron’s memories is an uncle (father to Max and Molly, who are the young blond dude and Winter) and is related to the Moriarty line, and Ron’s dad is of the Holmes line. But doesn’t Ron have both Moriarty and Holmes blood? I don’t know, I’m very intrigued by this mystery. This show is never dull!

Edit: ok so I wrote this before I finished the ep and…welp, that makes a lot of sense. So I guess the blond guy, Elliot Moriarty, is Ron’s dad? Dang, it would have been cool if my theory was right.

Ron's father was involved in the incident that happened 17 years ago. We even learnt that his name is Moriarty. Could that be? Another murder happened and Ron is in a mental mess.

These victims are so retarded they deserve to be murdered tbh, what did you expect would happen if you went to rest alone in your rooms with a killer at large.
