| I do love myself a chase scene from time to time and this one ranks up as a great one in my eyes. The use of William Tell Overtue while Okarun and Momo were running away from Turbo Granny while the animation pops off with plenty of sakuga to boot was very entertaining and awesome. =D The battle was tough, but with their chemistry and teamwork, they did defeat Turbo Granny, much to their relief. The dinner that they had with Seiko afterwards was certainly amusing, but I did like the goodbye scene, where Momo cheerfully calls out to Okarun to say "See you tomorrow!". It was pretty wholesome. With this first arc done, I can fully see as to why Dandadan is very well received. This series and crazy and chaotic and I'm all here for it, so I look forward to seeing what craziness the next arc has in store for Momo and Okarun! |

| That was one hell of a challenge that Momo created. Though the granny sure exploited the rules. The chase through the city though was damm cool. Boiling the crab was some good thinking. The escape through the horde plus the music was just perfect. The showdown with turno granny was really well done but the revelations about the spirits sure were sad. |

| Really fun episode! I'm glad that people mentioned the first four episodes being the "pilot" because at the beginning of this episode, I thought to myself this feels like the end of an "episode." This show entertains me how the original FLCL did and I'm often taken back to being 17-18. That feeling was missed. Onward, to more! |

| So i accidentally turned the dub on instead of the sub, and now i have to say THE JAPANESE VAS ARE DOING A PHENOMENAL JOB THIS IS A SUB ONLY KIND OF ANIME. Like the experience is totally different! Anddd here we finally are, in the real Dandadan craziness which i'd say begun with this ep. BUT THE MUSIC WHEN OKARUN WENT FULL OUT FOR THE SECOND TIME OMG AND THE SHOTS OF THE SECOND PART OF THE CHASE!!! Apeshit, i tell you, APESHIT. And when granny Seiko showed up in the end, oh my god she is pure badass energy And in the next ep we'll meet Aira! Can't wait to hate her and then love her, and then and i can't wait for it to come bc the anime itself will get a new dimension and SO much more depth and leverage |

| Quite the insane episode this was, and not really because of what was happening, that was pretty simply really, but the art and animation man, it went so crazy that I couldn’t tell what was happening at a few points, and I mean that in a good way lol. And although I said the events were pretty simple, it was still a wild goose chase of a battle with that ghost granny, was not expecting a giant crab or a hoard of ghosts, that took me back to Sabikui Bisco, where’s season 2 of that btw lol. And the use of classic music during one of the parts was cool too, I actually never knew it was called William Tell, there’s a song the Grateful Dead play with a really similar name that comes between St. Stephen and The Eleven called “William Tell Bridge”, not sure if they’re related or not but that’s pretty cool to learn. But after that wacky race/battle, super fast grandma and her crab minion are now done, the scene where she went poof looked awesome, and afterward the gang had a crab boil where Ken nearly got molested by Seiko, I’m glad our boy has his dick back tho lol. And from what I’m seeing this is just the beginning of what Dandadan is, I can only imagine it gets even more wild from here, I’m excited to see where it goes, and I may just watch next week’s episode day of on Halloween since I feel this show somewhat fits the season, we shall see. |

| Dang, what an epic episode! Animation, colors, story, characters, music...everything was on fire! 🔥 Got goosebumps watching this! It's been a while since I've seen something so lit. Add the reason why Turbo Granny was trying to steal Okarun's weenie; because of the girls who were violated. Shucks, not a moment of waste on this episode. And the "See you tomorrow!" line made the closing perfect. 101/100! Hands down. Looking forward to the additional characters. |

| Ayase and Ken just WORK as a pair. This show is insane and it works. The character interactions are more engaging than the action itself and the action is insane. I love this show. And on a superficial level, I didn't think Ayase could be any cuter....then she got a ponytail. |
