| Watching these type of slow romance + sport show is so much better than reading still panel of manga. I got bored when i first read some chapters of Ao no Hako, but i enjoy the anime adaptation wayyy more . (Heck , I wasn't even sure of watching this anime to begin with cuz of the manga. I thought i'd get bored watching this for sure, but how wrong I was ) The VA/ visuals/ animation make these plain and simple story much more enjoyable cuz of good execution and presentation. Also Taiki is such a likable and sometimes relatable character. Anime makes him even more likable now. |
| Taiki was fighting his demons when Chinatsu was changing lol. Kyo is such a good friend,he respects Taiki, knows how hard he’s been working, and understands that he deserves a push. But that was more than I expected—well done! That’s exactly what close friends are supposed to do. |

See, how it doesn't take 13 episodes to develop SOMETHING! I just absolutely looooove how pure romance is not the sole focus here, and how Chinatsu and Taiki push and motivate each other, in their own respective ways. Yet there still are some blushing moments tee hee, the ratio just works really well! |

| Having Chinatsu as his housemate is one hell of a motivation. Learning to relax after putting in hard work is the half the battle for any athlete. A girl picking up and returning your lost wallet is one hell of a moment though. Taiki's match though was pretty fun. Curious to see how the match ends next week. |

| There are so many wingman in this anime lol. Taiki is very lucky to have a friend like Kyo, even though he seems quiet and not very prominent, he always helps Taiki. Chinatsu in this episode is so cute, finally got to see her blush in this episode, and let's see how the date at the aquarium will go. |
| Why doesn't he walk to school with her wtf Taiki can't confess unless he makes it to nationals. He is the MC, so we know he'll make it to nationals. It would be interesting to see what would happen if he didn't though lol Thank god Taiki has a good friend who can talk to girls and explain his situation bc Taiki is a man of few words. | Chinatsu creates another fanboy wannadateher by returning that guy's limited edition wallet! I couldn't help laughing at the dramatic scene as the music is playing in his head and he sees the beautiful princess running towards him in slow motion while his mouth drops open. Hilarious. Haryuu ups the stakes by offering Chinatsu's number to the other guy if he beats Taiki! And now ... high stakes + jealousy, what a great motivator! Kyou best wingman / friend, helping their relationship by speaking some comforting things to Chinatsu. |

| The month's passing since Chinatsu came into Taiki's existence, and having to take her clothing by accident is the worst situation thus far. Finding a place to pass the clothing secretly at the AV room, just has to have the gymnastic girls in their own meeting, which convenes Chinatsu to find the usual secluded place to change clothes for her gym, it's too bad for Taiki since she only sees him as a fellow family member. With the first match of the intra-departmentals coming, Taiki beginning to lose focus is just so like him, and while Chinatsu having to witness his 6-pack out of his own nervousness gets her blushing, the worries amount more than feeling at this point. Being together with Haryu means easy passes for Taiki, but that's no reason to slack, and for the former to meet his former doubles partner of Kishi Shoichiro from another school being in the same cohort as him and as another rival of Chinatsu, having to sub Taiki as a way to keep the promise of giving her contact to him, Haryu's a mannered jerk in his usual sarcastic way. With the bet of Chinatsu's contact on the line, Haryu's expecting great things from Taiki, and so too is Kyo understanding the situation between the two...enough to give a reward to him if he wins against Kishi in the form of an aquarium date. Taiki, you'd better win this if you don't want Chinatsu's details to be spoiled... |

| Ngl I think it'd be less embarrassing for Taiki to admit that Chinatsu was living with him rather than saying he hasn't washed his gym uniform in ages. But he's protecting Chinatsu too at the same time, so good on him I guess And yeah Taiki's mom is right for suggesting that he bring EIGHT towels. When characters in anime sweat, they SWEAT. And Taiki is like an extra-sweaty boi, like his palms for instance. How else do you explain just randomly dropping a water bottle like that lol It's anime, so this is a given, but still, Taiki is shredded. Man has got a six-pack AND Chinatsu acknowledges it. W's in the chat The second half of this episode was giving Haikyuu vibes not just because of the games, but with the character interactions. Man can't wait for more Haikyuu. Anyway we got a new character who is actually gunning for Chinatsu, so Taiki better start acting fast if he doesn't want to lose to mr. steal-yo-girl Good on Chinatsu for realizing what she said may have rubbed off on Taiki the wrong way, and I'm glad Taiki was there to eavesdrop on it all. Just in time to get his head straight for his upcoming match, where Kyo comes to shed some light concerning Taiki on Chinatsu's end. I hope Kyo gets even just a little bit of appreciation later for being such a good wingman. A small misunderstanding has been cleared up thanks to him, and this probably isn't the last time he's going to be working in the background to fix up some things. So next episode: aquarium date, hopefully...? |

| What a cute episode, I love seeing the MC work so hard for his goals and especially when we see that he improved as well. Not only in skills but also in confidence, I am totally rooting for him. I also love how his bro helped him out by telling her she should take him to the aquarium if he wins the game |
| It never fails. This show keeps throwing misunderstandings at us, but they're never really big. And both Taiki and Chinatsu end up being very understanding. By the end of the episode, I'm smiling, and have that warm fuzzy feeling inside me. It's still so very early in the series, but I'm really enjoying it a lot. |
