Man this was cute. Made me remember why I loved the manga so much. This is definitely a good adaptation. Yeah the censoring of confession wasn't necessary but I feel like it made the finale a bit more special.

If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.

Just like the manga, I did feel like the latter half of this was weak and how stupid this drama was.. I mean that final scene legit just highlighted that fact lol.

But at least in the manga shit like, I don't know, A FUCKING CONFESSION OR THE FIRST KISS WASN'T CENSORED??? Like do you realize how stupid that sounds... a romcom censoring romcom things.. smh.

Don't bother watching this, the manga is leagues better. For what it was though, it was a fun watch, I guess. There are better romances that aired just today that are worth more your time.

I wont comment on the drama but I feel like the weak latter half was due to them being officially a couple. According to my experience and opinion, the good thing of a romance is when a couple isn't established but the whole story revolves around them finding their loved ones/crushes and stuff. The misunderstandings, the ecchi scenes, the perverted scenes, the tsundere scenes, the meetups etc. All these scenes before a confession are what makes a romcom so interesting. This is one of the reasons why I think many people hated Shikimori as well.
If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.

The anime I enjoyed least ended with a bang. Rin being cute is a given. I can't believe they're already a couple before both said 'I love you' to each other.

I really liked this show and this is one of the romantic animes that did feel somewhat refreshing.

It's just a cute story with a boy and a girl and living their cute lives with the acting thing in-between and there are no other forced plots like a love-triangle-hexagon and annoying characters. We even seen a KISS on the screen in this episode and a wedding.

That's more like it. It's wholesome, beautiful, romantic Anime and both characters are just wonderful playing off of each other and we have the amazing Saori Hayami as the voice actress for Rin. "Chef's kiss!!"

wasn't feeling too much the first half even if i was glad for Rin, but midway through this series finale became something else. Not my favorite of all time or anything, but a really sweet one. Beginning with her trip down memory lane, everything fell in the right place, and for very different reasons i felt a pain about not being able to choose at a crossroad... i'm unable now that i have twice her age, imagine being a teen with actual talent for something and still struggling with fear of losing her future husband. Oh, well, it happened, happy ending at all fronts, yeah.

7 or 7,5/10. In hindsight i can get the plot going really fast also because the MC "impersonates" on her own a full harem and this somehow justified the restricted number of supporting characters around her and the other lead, and sometimes the animation seemed weird (so many times it seemed like Rin and Eiji were transforming into a 30's version of Mickey Mouse)... but overall this was a nice show and pulled off something that i always look for in romcoms... changing enough details in the usual formula to always keep it fresh.

This was such a cute and fun anime. I loved watching Rin and Eiji’s love story. Their relationship was so cute and pure. I’d watch another season of them in adulthood. I think it would be great. This was a perfect ending. I think I might check out the manga because I’m not ready to say goodbye yet.

So did Rin and Eiji not see one another for years? I really liked this show, especially after the first episode where I almost dismissed it due to its slipshod animation. But the timing in the last episode doesn't make a ton of sense to me. Eiji decides that since she's got an actual career he should just not see her for ages? The whole thing felt like a false dilemma. But, I donno, maybe that's just Japan?

this was an amazing anime, nanakura rin reminds me of my girlfriend more than any other anime character does, and i cried during this episode, a lot, but i couldnt help but worry about rin when she became a big actor
i dont know what its like in japan, but in america theres nothing more evil than hollywood, no one needs to be getting involved with that
i would have preferred she not take the offer and spend that time with senpai

also it was great when they said the title of the show

i love you

A beautiful ending. Though, I was a bit confused on the drama this episode. I was thinking why can't they still be together if she's going to be an actress? If time is the issue, I still don't see how it's detrimental enough for them to be apart. Well, it was resolved at the end and it became a motivation for Eiji to pursue a strong career.

I love the leads' dynamics and cute moments but I don't really find the whole show to be that entertaining. Personally, sometimes the show feels boring.

Saori Hayami was insane in this show, she carried hard. 7/10

I have to say, at the start of the season I was skeptical about the show.. I was sure it’s gonna be some sort of gooner anime, but it’s honestly one of the cutest romance anime I’ve ever watched.
They’re both such huge green flags and I loved watching the show.

Well finally i reach this teary part with all the speed.

Finding it giga wholesome with those perfect marriage ending and how everything goes smooch to them even if its mean sad drama first at the beginning. Director actually nail this finale quite decent with all the reveal cards here. The beauty of a complete adaptation, even though the overall pacing still not on my preference, imho.

Overall, giji harem truly brings some different perception over your usual high-school romcom story. Even if its lacking the duration, but still, its quite nice from your typical harem show. Ahem, not your usual highschool harem silly one. This is, giji harem.

Was cute, I've already read through the manga and I already knew this story isn't really something big, but it's nice. It's simple and cute. Not the type of thing with a really deep storyline, but just romantic cute wholesome fun, and I think that's all it needs to be good. 7.5/10

The one thing I did not understood is, why are they forced to be separated for so long? Like, they can still meet in their free time, right? Or it's some Japanese culture thing related to work?

The final episode of the season. Rin is having a hard time choosing between an acting career or go to the same college as Eiji. In the end, Rin went with acting as Eiji promises to catch up with her in the entertainment world. Move forward Eiji got a gig at the TV studio where Rin is filming a drama series. Then Eiji told Rin his dream of gettng married with Rin which delighted Rin. Rnd scene where Rin and Eiji had a reception at the old drama club at the school with the members.

Honestly, I didn't really get the drama. Why does she have to choose one or the other? Why can't they pursue their dreams together? At least they gave us a clear, happy ending. And Rin looked great in her wedding dress.

Loved these two goofballs so much. Their interactions just made me grin sometimes. It was a nice, lovely watch. Simple, little drama. 8/10.

I found this cute and sweet and enjoyed how there was more relationship progression than you often see in anime but throughout it felt like such an odd way things were done where you literally only have focus on two characters and all the side characters are so absent you forget they exist entirely a lot of the time even though they do have their personalities that just made things feel boring how it always played out. Then the ending felt a little rushed like a few episodes back it was a love confession, and this episode it had moving into acting quickly then a time skip and a marriage in a single episode. I guess I just didnt like the format of the show even though there is some likable things about it

I usually wait for most anime to finish airing and then binge it cuz I hate having to wait weeks to see what happens next. But trying to binge this anime was a mistake. I almost dropped it after a few episodes cuz it felt very repetitive. Then I decided to watch this one episode at a time every few days and it felt just right. I am glad I managed to finish it though. The overall story was cute and heartwarming and the ending was sweet and perfect. I especially enjoyed the voice acting of Hayami-san and Okamoto-kun which was the main selling point of this show imo. Overall, I'd give it a 7/10.

Once again, Rin and Eiji are the main characters of this short film. And yes, it turns out to be true, the story is completely based on Rin's love experience. The film was a big hit (went viral) everywhere. Many people are interested in Rin because of her beauty and extraordinary acting abilities.

Anyways, at the end we are shown that in the end they got married (after a time skip of several years). Congratulations on your marriage and best wishes for a happy and fulfilling future.

Man, I'm crying so much. This was such a rollercoaster of a ride 💖

My cheeks hurt so much because I've been giggling nonstop while watching this, so they are now sore. All the previous episodes were so good, but this one was even more beautiful. I absolutely loved seeing all the versions of Rin chan throughout the anime. She is so precious. We even got to see them get married and live happily ever after. I'm so happy for them and for myself, too, because I was able to experience this masterpiece. But at the same time, I'm really sad now that it's all over, and I won't be able to see all of their interactions anymore 😭

Watching this always put a smile on my face and filled the hole in my heart "The Dangers In My Heart" left after it ended. Somehow, watching and hearing the OP and ED felt like I was watching "Kaichou wa Maid-Sama!" again. Thank you, author, for giving us this masterpiece. It'll always have a special place in my heart 💖

I read the manga 2 years ago, so I can't really tell what was added or excluded, even though it feels like some things may have been added, and apparently a fair amount obviously cut.

... Nonetheless. Incredible Adaptation.
From the teaser trailer, I had the impression that the duo's voices didn't fit, but they were both great.
I'm usually not a big fan of that screeching male voice actor, and his last scream in the end was awful, but he was awesome. The VA for the heroine was great as well!

After he graduates, the story just like the manga slowly falls apart, along with the awkward drama of them not being fully together or whatever until he can work alongside her to then marry as well, 7 years later,
but the buildup of them at first until he graduates is the best. 9/10 at that point.

Their dynamic is hilarious and adorable!
I think the heroine is the highlight when I first read it, but I don't remember the male protagonist feeling so perfect in complimenting her with his own jokes and demands of the harem.

Cheeky-chan (Imp-chan) remains my top favorite.
Tsundere-chan and Cool-chan are really fun too.
Although brief, mature onee-san, little sister are sweet too.
All of them are entertaining in their own right, though. From class rep-chan and spoiled-chan. I might be forgetting one...

Anyway. Where the story starts declining a bit in the fulfilling focus of them two alone is when jealousy off college gets introduced. Re-enacting their love life, and ultimately the weird drama of her feeling like she can't stay with him if she pursues acting.
We never know in those 7 years for how long they had a long distance relationship if at all, or since when they moved in together after she started working professionally as an actress,
but I think they obviously lived together at some point. Which makes him finally being able to work alongside her to be together 24/7 a little... I don't know. Weird. Great for them, but it makes the whole drama feel exaggerated if they stuck together anyway at some point. I don't think they had a long distance relationship. Who knows.

I'm not a fan of Kuri. That maybe lesbian for Rin girl. She's meaningless and random. Rin's little sister is alright.
It's really when the drama starts that the story becomes a bit awkward and less perfect. 8/10.

Here goes all my excitement and expectation for the adaptation.

Technically, this anime is decent. Though, if the story didn't do well, I bet this anime just wouldn't make it. The pacing still feels horrible until the very end, and that's the only problem I have with but it's enough to make me wanting to drop the anime. The ending... meh, let's just not talk about it.

Yeah, actually, overall it was ok. I just can't feel the hype like others do with it.
