| Awesome start to the season and great new opening and ending It does feel like there has been an upgrade in scale since the last season, I think it looks even better. It's also one of the only anime I've seen that really nails CGI animation within 2D Yhwach is great as an intimidating presence and I love the scene of him reaching the Soul King. Once again another great episode for this arc! |
| Sorry but I found episode 1 boring. What so good about this? For 5-8 minutes it's same scenes from the last episode. It was all just my power can do this.. my power can do that.. surprise I'm still alive. I don't get it I don't understand Why the rating is so high for this mediocre episode? |

| aside from the recap bit, this episode is already better than the entirety of last cour, which was a chore to get through. this new op so much better than the last one as well but ofc the inflated score of every cour is pretty much a tradition at this point. |

| The 20th anniversary trailer with the current art style was just chef's kiss. So much nostalgia. A trip down to memory lane. Bleach will always hold a special place in my heart. Yhwach is way too OP. He's pretty much a new game + build that has completed the campaign and has all the perks/abilities. Squad Zero were easily wiped out. |

| From the OP we can assume we will be getting three fights against the Schutzstaffel: Askin, Pernida and Lille. Particularly I hope to see some improvements to the latter, it was too much of a fever dream, Askin and Pernida though are perfect. Orihime's boobs look bigger than Matsumoto's in the ED  |
| The Uryu vs Senjumaru fight was the highlight this episode when Treachery started playing I was cheesing mad hard, and the additional scenes were so peak. 10/10 |

| At this point, the "story" feels like a sequence of random elements with the amount of asspulls and whatnots, but I find I can tune that out and just watch it as an audio-visual art project. And as such, it's fucking stunning. Soundtrack and VA depts especially, absolute peak. ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป And then the ED song, a complete and utter paradox in contrast to everything else, completely ill-fitting... and perhaps that's why it works. Kinda. |
