| this looks like such a great adaptation. i like the anime version of Chinatsu and her voice. |
| Blue Box is here and from what I gathered with its first episode, this looks to be a promising adaptation. Some shots did look a bit weird and graphics weren't the best to match the ambition set out (like the zooming out shot of everyone playing in the auditorium there). Some angles even made Taiki and others look too tall in a way even though there was a joke about him still being around 170cm. But a lot of others looked good, particularly some close ups of Chinatsu as well as the opening in general. The story in general's fairly straightforward but it is a key Jump series which made it different compared to other weekly releases from there, hopefully the production can maintain these standards and maybe even improve a little in its consistency with future episodes. I like the one-shot more than the main manga but that doesn't mean I'm not curious about how this anime will turn out to be. I like that despite admiring Chinatsu and picking up a work ethic and dedication he shows to badminton from her, Taiki just wants to do the best on his own in his respective sport too and enjoys the feeling of playing in general too (even if he can be a little cringey at times). Hina's always been hit-miss for me. The story isn't one that is the most unique, special or interesting as a whole but there is still some potential here. |
| The production is very good but the start is too predictable. As soon as we hear that the two mothers are old friends and that the heroine has to leave, we understand that she is going to live with the main character. It happens in half of high school romance stories, I think. Will see how it develops because the manga has a very good rating. |

| Banger opening and ending, The story seems great and I thought the twist was unpredictable haha. Great first episode which hooked me in! Seems like this is going to be a diabetes filled journey. |

| What the fuck was that shot at 4:00? Why would you decide to include a complicated fly-by shot, only to then decide that you don't have a budget to animate it without resorting to some of the worst CG of the year? |

| Hina is already the best character, but let's see if Kano grows on me. I do respect Kano's efforts in doing what it takes to being the best player she player she can be. |
| Decent start to this series with a big twist at the end that I was not expecting as I thought Chinatsu was moving in with some relatives and not with Taiki and his family. Ngl, while Chinatsu is attractive I like Hina more for now as I think she looks a bit cuter plus seems more fun to be around than Chinatsu. Having said that I don't know if there will be a love triangle or something but so far Taiki only has eyes for Chinatsu. |

| When I read the synopsis it reminded me of Mitsuru Adachi series'. There might not be too many similarities beyond the genres but I guess it doesn't matter as long as the anime is good. I didn't expect the last twist. The heroine living under the same roof as the protagonist has to be one of my favorite rom-com tropes. Chinatsu Senpai is cute. The first episode was so beautiful (besides the CGI) I can't wait for the rest. So glad it's a 25-episode series. |

| It's pretty and all but seems so basic. Like, nothing wrong with it, and if you're into romance the execution is strong, but I feel like I need some hook. Maybe it's just me. I ran into this too with Tsuki ga Kirei where it was quite popular and did the romance well, but I wanted there to be something more to it. |
| "Haha imagine she's there" -me thinking that since their moms knows each other she'll suddenly come visit Taiki's house.. then I thought "WAIT WHAT IF THE ACQUAINTANCE SHE'S TALKING ABOUT IS YOUR MOM?" Good Lord I was right! Suddenly living together with your long time crush who also inspires you to work harder, Taiki is living the dream. Im just glad that them living together is more like being housemates rather than the common step-siblings troupe, a totally different feeling from the usual romance drama anime. Also its cool how they all have different sports in 1 anime and that the main characters are in different paths. This looks really cute and I already like the characters! I think this will probably be a love triangle between Chinatsu-Taiki-Hina? Im here for it, be it the romance or drama! |
| People are only nice to each other in the world of anime and on the pages of manga. I got hit in the face by basketballs and soccer balls even baseballs but I never got any kit Kat nor anyone made sure if I was all right. They told me to be a man and walk it off. |
| An OP by HIGE DANdism, the ED by Eve, the show looks stunning and even has my GOAT Takashi Oomama on the soundtrack. In a season this stacked this show could just end up being my favourite! |
Guys I've read the manga to chapter 164. I was delighted when I heard first episode aired and now I've come to say a few words. Firstly, the drawing is amazing! It matches to the manga %99 and the colouring is shiny as I expected. Also the adaptation is for now perfectly parallel so I suppose there won't be a problem further. I hope they produce the newer episodes sooner.    |
| That was really quite an amazing episode. It could actually be a one shot just the episode alone. It was really fantastic and I love the twist at the end. I could tell it was coming, but not until the very end right before it happened. Anyway wonderful animation, great op/ed. I can’t wait to watch the next 24 episodes. I might just have to pick up the manga. |
| Chinatsu senpai is really beautiful and I can totally see why everyone respects and admires her. Lucky for Taiki, he now has a reason to get closer to her! |
| I am a manga reader and it is so different to now listening the characters and all the animation stuff. I forgot how much "anime" reaction the characters do. I think this is already a step above from the manga experience. It progress slow but it has good moments but I don't like the current state, I think the story should be over for a long time already OP is really good |
