The visuals are amazing, probably the best looking Bleach opening, not a big fan of the song though, but overall it's pretty good

@SakurRAgi yeah exactly, seeing the visuals I expected the song to be... louder? maybe a rock/metal song similarly to the rumbling, something like that

I mean, look at the color palette choices, it’s so different from other shonen anime I don’t even know how to explain, Bleach is truly on another level when it comes to aesthetic. |

| Great OP, kinda similar vibes with the OP from TYBW part 1. For the ED, hmmm, not a fan of the rap part at the end of the song but at least it started out catchy. Also the characters superimposed on the very realistic background visuals of the ED were done nicely. |

Shounenheads are generally low-brow consumers who don't understand the concept of artistry, so their only benchmark for high production value anime is how much "sakuga" is in it and if it has moving parts in every shot, even if the anime is audiovisually ugly regardless. TYBW is a very high quality anime. It has excellent direction, art direction, storyboards, compositing, sound design, music and some of the best animated sequences in the medium in its key episodes. Its general animation is also above the standard. Not every shot has moving parts in it, but it can make up for that with all the other things--audiovisually it is very aesthetic. The level of artistry you see in this anime is atypical for a shounen and greater than the majority of them put together. |
