| And...Mayuri makes a timely save! Seriously though, she came in her cosplay outfit when they needed it the most. However, it looks like this episode build a bit more into Mayuri's rivalry with 753. I think this episode is tense, filled with energy fueled by the rivalry and adds a bit of drama to it too. The world of cosplay can be deceptively complex. Characters like Mayuri shows that with enough talent and work, they can attract an audience. |

| The cosplay conflict between Ririsa and Nagomi, the latter seeking Okumura, but with Mayuri-sensei in her cosplay absolutely stealing the show thereafter in her Lustalotte cosrom, it's the everlasting battle between old and new gen cosplayers. That's how Mayura is separated from the competition being a tour de force of a renowned popular cosplayer who embraces her character completely, and that's how competition between cosplayers SHOULD be: stealing the spotlight at the least expected. No matter how Nagomi chooses to embrace her character, her popularity just never correlates well with her personal life, not understanding how cosplay is the way of life despite being shadows of one another, despite giving all of her efforts to outshine even Mayuri-sensei being fellow veteran cosplayers. With Mayura being thankful to Ririsa for reinvigorating that fight and handing her role over to the next generation through her Liliel, the next protégé who will charm the hearts of many, bringing back the former popular character into relevance. The all-judgmental Nagomi vs. the all-compassing Ririsa, it's easy to tell who got the L here because her looks and personality sold her before friendship with fellow cosplayers even ever was a blip on her mind, And like Mayura, Nagomi fixed her ways to be a good ival to Ririsa, because cosplay should NEVER be a fierce competition, but of embracing the fun. Nagomi's comeback has begun, and this will be a fierce rivalry of the new gens. |

| So great to see Mayuri Sensei walk out to cosplay one more time to give Ririsa time to get ready. Nogomi really needs to understand that cosplay is all about fun and not trying to destroy others fun. |
| I was so locked in on Nagomi's heartfelt introspection on why she loves cosplaying as much as she does and what made her lose sight of enjoying what she's passionate about, but lmao, our guys getting hyped up about Ririsa finally making her entrance as not just Liliel but as "Chaos Form" Liliel (i.e. Liliel but with a few extra cutesy accessories that are apparently really important to the lore) cracked me up so hard. |
| I did not expect that much monologues but it was fun seeing the perspective of the different characters. Mayura-sama is as heavenly as the day she left. I need more Ririsa though.... On the game side, I just finished chapter 5 which is episode 8 in the anime so maybe I can pass the anime by next week or I hope |
| I’m constantly surprised at how great of a story this is. While yes it has the ecchi stuff, that’s far from the main draw here. This is a genuinely heartwarming anime about pursuing your passions and being true to who you are and moments like Nagomi realising why she cosplays and falling back in love with the hobby make this show so rewarding. Mayuri sensei was the MVP of this episode driving the major plot progressions and looking amazing while doing it. I love that she paid forward the encouragement Ririsa gave her a couple episodes ago both to Ririsa last week and now to Nagomi. She wasn’t calling Nagomi out, but calling her up to the level she knows she can be at. She’s an amazing teacher and role model. Liliel delivered her best cosplay performance this week in my opinion. She looked like a totally different person with a renewed sense of purpose and drive. So happy for her. Okumura pep talk saved the day. I think she and Nagomi will go on to become good friends now especially now that we know Okumura looks just like Kai sama lol. Doesn’t matter why you cosplay, just matters that you have fun and do it for you! Nagomi was beaming there at the end, happy for her! |

| The episode was ok but I thought there was a bit too much monologuing going on. At least Ririsa finally came out in her cosplay and with the sensei there they should be able to get their report done. On a side note, was Nagomi referring to Okumura when she kept saying that she wanted Kai to see her? That character looked a lot like him but as far as I know he hasn't really cosplayed other than acting out a scene or 2 with Ririsa and I think with Mikari too. |
| Okay, I've been confused for some episode now since I found out the manga is called "2.5D Seduction" In the title it says "2.5 Jigeno yuuwaku" (with Ririsa above it in talk box) which means roughly "The Temptation of 2.5 Dimensions" which matches up with the show perfectly as 2.5D women tempt the MC who's dedicated to 2D. However 2.5 jigenno ririsa doesn't make sense to me, except to be a less ecchi title. I assumed Ririsa meant seductions, but both in on-reading and kun-reading I'm not seeing this. (note, I'm sub-N5 level) Another lovely episode, while I can very much relate to the heart hardening, I don't really understand what the hell Nagomi's deal is, but if she's still a teenager, I guess it makes sense? Maybe even early 20's? Still pretty cringe. I'm really happy Mayura-senpai and Liliel-chan were able to help her out <3 4/5, Nagomi irritating the hell out of me lowered the score. It's crazy how much a show filled with perverts is so good to me, and so wholesome and makes me want to cosplay. MC's are all very much perverts who love manga, anime, doujins, ecchi, hentai, et cetera, then camera men (which are all guys LOL) are also looking for ecchi content/angles. Elf-senpai (forget names) is in shocko, next episode will likely involve a phone call between the two, hope it's a happy one <3 I just noticed this is 24 episodes not 12 episodes!!! Yippeee |

Another brilliant episode to followup previous week's one. Can be summed up to battle of Past v Present v Future The rivalry between Mayura and Nagomi both of their past was very well described. I for one really enjoyed their respective monologues. It was very intense and dramatic. Still not the biggest fan of Nagomi for what she did to poor Ririsa but now seeing her entire backstory, I feel bad for her in what she turned out. But Ririsa might have rejuvenated her spark with her passion, dedication and joy towards her Lilleal. Mayura is gone but now Nagomi has a new rival. Spectacular way for Mayura to go out, can unannounced stole the show refused to elaborate leave. She also set the stage for Ririsa to shine. After so much struggle Ririsa and her Lilleal shinned like angel. |
| This episode covers chapters 28-31, so were almost done with Volume 4. Mayura made a brief appearance to prevent the crowd from leaving after Nagomi's photo shoot until it was finally time for her to pass the torch to Ririsa and her Lilliel cosplay. We got a brief look into her Nagomi's past as her reason for cosplaying was to appeal to the fictional Kei-sama as she used to be an ugly duckling. Nagomi quickly forgot how much fun cosplay was supposed to be as she became more popular causing her to have an identity crisis. Thankfully after seeing Ririsa cosplay she was reminded that cosplay is a fun hobby. |

| I loved how they portrayed Nagomi's journey. You don’t necessarily have to know or love the character, but you do have to appreciate what you've done and how you've changed from the beginning. It's about having respect for yourself and your own progress. At the same time, Ririsa's and Mayura's perspectives aren't wrong either. As long as you love and enjoy what you're doing, who cares what the world thinks? |

| All 3 cosplayers featured in this episode had really different backstories and motivations, but all equally great and I love how they're all kinda interconnected here. Really think I like this show better as a cosplay drama than romance/ecchi. The love for cosplay is real! |
| I feel like this is an episode that will be best understood by those who actually love to cosplay. the way they present it is so... rough? straightforward? and that's a good thing because yeah they just bare their feelings here without too much touches. it makes things... intimate, with the peope who do understand them. |
| Jeez I forgot how much paranoid melodrama there was in the early parts of the series. Mayura and Nagomi both really just all up in their own heads inventing problems to worry about. At least Ririsa gets it. No need to overcomplicate a simple hobby |
| I was initially considering to hate this episode. No Tachibana again. But it recovered. Ririsa came back and has shown Nagomi back that cosplay is fun. What a character growth! |

| While I did feel the inner monologues maybe went on a little too long, this was still a banger of an episode. Apparently Hanyuu wasn’t done assisting Ririsa, because this time she appeared as Mayura to the crowd and bought Ririsa more time to get dressed as Lilliel, this turned into a battle of the cosplayers even if that wasn’t Hanyuu’s intention lol, but I really liked it, it felt oddly intense despite it just being two beautiful cosplayers surrounded by photographers, but this was mainly due to what Nagomi was feeling inside thanks to the sudden appearance of Mayura. And I gotta say they really sent me on rollercoaster with Nagomi in this one, she almost seemed like a villain when Mayura was pissing her off, but by the end of the episode she was also shown a good light when she came out of her shaken state and began posing proudly too. This was also thanks to her backstory which definitely made me like her more, she did what she had to do to change herself which allowed her to love herself more, I’m glad this didn’t turn into Ririsa defeating Nagomi and more like the two of them empowering each other. And speaking of Ririsa, nice to finally see her back and in full cosplay too, this time being a variation of Lilliel, but I hate to admit I couldn’t tell it was any different at first lol, still awesome of course. Also ngl wish we could have got more shots of Nagomi in full, I wanted to see more of her after she stripped that skirt off lol, at least those photographers are getting full service. |
| The showdown between Mayuri and Nagomi was shorter than what I expected. Surprised that Ririsa showed up in full cosplay during the middle of the episode. I can totally understand that folks who wanted an actual confrontation between these two Heavenly Queens of Cosplay might end up being disappointed. With the amount of internal monologues, it became more of an expo dump on Nagomi's backstory. Could have been handled better. |
| On one extreme, a 753 cosplays characters she doesn't even know, on the other Ririsa who dedicates herself to cosplaying one character, Mayura before her was sort of like that too. Both have their disadvantages, 753 getting hate online for being a model, Ririsa potentially not breaking out of her mold. But when it comes to a convention, both kinds of cosplayers attract a ring of photographers. 753 fake smiles to keep her vitriol in for Mayura and Ririsa who can genuinely smile while cosplaying non-trending characters, in truth she is angry at herself who once smiled like they still do when she first changed herself and cosplayed in order to be her husbando's 2D girl. Conversely, Mayuri had quit cosplay and felt jealous 753 continued it despite the loss of integrity. She has come back this one time to both inspire and hold the crowd for Ririsa. Although she cosplays Liliel again it is a different form of Liliel that her Senpai recognises. So Ririsa has shown 753 she can still dedicate herself to one character yet still be fresh. When it looks like 753 is done, she recuperates with a buzz. Her old cosplay rival had come back and now she may have found a new one that she can compete with. Still, I expected 753 to react at a real life person who looks like Kai rooting for her rivals instead of her. |

| This episode was really good ! Im really enjoying this anime, because its about the world of cosplay and cosplayers, which I really love and be part of, and its so nice to see all the sides of this wonderful hobby, talked and explained in this story Because its so true, some are doing cosplay as a hobby, some for a career, some to be popular, and of course some for money too.. The way I see it, its just having fun cosplaying as the characters we love, it shouldnt be a competition Maybe more ecchi but I feel like its better cosplay explanations than My dress up darling, which is more focused on the making of cosplays, both are good and can be complementary ^^ Any cosplay fan and cosplayer should watch this show ! Or anyone else, so they can learn more about it |

| I felt so bad for Nagomi this episode. While some people found this backstory to be a little bit boring or slow, personally I really enjoyed it. It gave Nagomi more character and for us an understanding why she is the way she is. Plus she looked absolutely adorable in her cosplay  |
