| So the kids take on some goons and teach them a lesson or two, no surprises there. The blood fetish in this show has got me slightly concerned... Tokiyuki jumping up and down giggling.... Geezus Kryste he's fucking cute I still do not get the thing about having that guy wear an apron with ants on it. After he passes out, the bug-eyed dude came to rescue him and promised to give him some land so he can stop being a bandit. With how violent this show is, I was expecting him to die- but if they're saving him, it would be nice for him to reappear later as a better person and get the redemption he wants, but the way it ended seems to say that won't happen. Anyway it's a shonen, so emotions are only skin deep- the goofy ending is growing on my somehow. I love the change to the 1950s school uniforms... |
| I can't stop admiring the animation, it's really good! Ayako is so cool! And of course, the blue haired one aka Fubuki is super cool too! All of them are awesome~ I didn't expect Shoukan to survive... thought he died there. But luckily he doesn't know Tokiyuki's true identity yet. Suwa's expression when Tokiyuki told Fubuki his identity was funny xD this episode was really fun. |

| HOLY FUCKKKKKK WHERE DO I EVEN START BRO THIS IS THE BEST ANIMATED EPISODE SO FAR HOLY SHIT the animation was next level in this episode compared to the others manπππ©π©π₯π₯π₯ Ayako and Kojiro’s fight was so goddamn lit man I loved how Ayako cut off that dudes head like she was hitting a golf ball hahaha but damn the animation where the dude dragged her across the floor and sent Kojiro flying was lit as well too I knew both of them were gonna show off after thatπ₯ Fubuki cutting off that face paint guy’s head was so fucking satisfying like bro hit a pose while slicing his neck and yo why are the blood splatter in this anime so good?? I love it And let’s talk about the main course of this episode and that was Tokiyuki going SPEEDBLITZ MODE and went off against that guy (I forgot his name lol) the animation was fucking eye candy and gave me goosebumps, and it looked like Tokiyuki activated shadow clone jutsu and went crazy with the running haha and the flame animation was so fucking nice as well like I can’t with this episode straight up 10/10πππππ½π₯π₯π₯ There were so much shit to screenshot in this episode I just took a lot of them so you guys can see which parts I like haha             |

| This episode was a pleasure to watch. The fight between Tokiyuki and Shokan just looked so good. I'm curious to see what choices Shokan makes in the future after coming to see Tokiyuki as "his Buddha," then calmly acquiescing to being a soldier for Sadamune. Now that Fubuki has joined up as a new retainer, I'm looking forward to seeing how he fits in to the dynamic back at the shrine, and what else he can teach our elusive hero. I feel like it was a bit of a bombshell that Yorishige has an adult son that they just lightly acknowledged there. I need more of this "god's" story. |
| The person who cast Gojo's voice actor for Suwa I hope is swimming in cash. The animation is incredible, along with the drawing style you just have to sit back and enjoy. |
| A brilliant episode. Loved all the fights especially Tokiyuki's fight was amazing. The way he handled his opponent while smiling all the time. It was great. Can't wait to see what more this has in store for us. We have a new retainer with us now, Fubuki. |

BEST EPISODE BY FAR!!! It really showed the fact that Hojo is elusive in this fight and how well it can work on somebody stronger than him and was an amazing wrap-up to the arc. It was SO PRETTY AS WELL AMAZING ANIMATION! |

| Well, for being so-called veterans of the war, these guys lost to the kids, so yeah, can't say if they were just talk or these four kids are just too strong and strategic lol. That being that btw, again this series knows how to play with visuals. Could be one of the only few battle shounen that is so visually engaging which came out in a last few years. Though work done for now, and Fubuki has joined the gang as well, officially. |

Likewise, dude. Tokiyuki had a lot of fun, Fubuki and the others also handled those pathetic veterans well... again, a little too well. Hello plot armor, my old friend. |

| At least everything ended well for them and they all did good during their fights but I wish the other guy died for bleeding like that, the strategy to make him bleed and simply dodge all his attacks until he passes out was brilliant |
