Nah I don't blame Himekawa. Contacts are kinda weird, and I ain't want them at first. But once you get some, there's no going back, that's all I'll say lol. But yeah yeah yeah, everyone's had their time to shine, background characters included for some reason (not complaining), but now it's time for the main character himself, Aqua, to get his time in the spotlight. And some Arima... again ig too lol.
Damn though, Arima's mom is awful. She fr used Arima to chase her own old dreams and got mad when Arima's acting career struggled. Anywho, one of my main issues with this arc showed up in this episode, with me kinda finding it kinda cringy how they add shounen-style energy to the acting. Though, Doga Koba made it hella fun to watch, so whatever lol. And damn, I ain't expect for them to use that much blood wtf.
People will call it edgy, but it's anything but. It might be edgy, but it's more realistic more than anything. That entire scene though, Doga cooked holy fuck.
Play would end next episode, going off the pace they've been going.

| @IzanaSolos I thought the blood being shown was in Aqua's head used to trigger his PTSD. The way it flowed didn't look like the way fluid flows in reality anyway, more jagged and chaotic. |
| In the manga, I was thinking this is some edgy shit but now it's feeling a bit more on the tragic side. They have some good direction. |

| Kana's brilliant performance. It was nice to see Aqua has to suffer with this. Don't enjoy acting. Do everything for real. Defeat em' all, Aqua. Become the star you're supposed to be. |

| Keep in mind they have to do this over and over again instead of just once for camera. Sooo did he actually bite him? Lol Director seems like his only jobs these days are in JAV yet he is the most caring adult around. |

| It's Kana special episode. Sometime I hate Kana, sometime I love Kana. Lol. This episode is full of AquaxKana. It is a beautiful scene of them both. I never wanted to wear any contact lens. It's so creepy to touch my own eyes. Haha. |

| Director Gotanda out there helping/saving child actors left and right. Man, I had no idea his role would be this relevant. Cool episode. Kana shone so much the animation started looking blurry and it seems Aqua has learned to use his PTSD to evolve into the ultimate edgelord. Impressive. |

| Poor Kana I can't imagine the pressure she got as a child actor by her mother... and now we're getting Aqua's berserk mode related to how he feels towards everyone regarding Ai's death... we're seriously getting some deep development for most characters during this stage play, it's just great. |

| Kana thought that she was handing over the stage to Akane. However, it turned out to be quite the opposite! The things Kana does on stage actually make her stand out even more, shine even brighter. And, like the last 2 episodes, we were shown Melt and Akane's back story, now it's time for Kana's back story. |

| Himekawa throws ad-lib and Aqua picks up on it and throws it at Arima. Arima’s past is shown and how she went into survival mode and did bare minimum to exist in the industry. Aqua pushed her back to her true talent, and Akane is fangirling π€£. When Aqua’s scene came, Aqua channeled his anger and hate into his role. Aqua is determined to defeat Himekawa, Arima and Akane to get the recognition he needs in the industry, to get his revenge. Acting will be the tool to his revenge. |

| Kana giving it her all and shining so brightly even Akane had to start fangirling out again! With so much weight and responsibility on Kana's shoulders. I'm glad she can still find joy in acting. Aqua may not be using the healthiest mindset to fuel his acting, but he's giving off the performance needed to portray the grief of Toki. This was another gorgeous episode. I'm super pleased by it! |

| Kana suffered a lot in her childhood, there were some pieces about it before but this episode gave even more about that. Damn, Aqua is legit terrifying! |
| I like the anime but I'm kinda getting bored with all the flashbacks. Time to do a little break and watch something else. |
