| It's another one of those 'battle' based episode although this one seems to have more importance given the location. Also, starting to take Cefiro more seriously in this show now. I wish I cared more about her character earlier but felt like she was overshadowed often. Regardless, seems they are moving ahead with the ongoing plan by Ike. He's played his leadership role well. |

| The war pressures on at the frontlines of Ivalias, though I'd swear hearing the lead wolf Beio having HeroAca's Bakugo's VA of all people, plus TsudaKen for obvious reasons. But it's obviously clear that having Beio last long on battle is not a good strategy, which is where the other demon generals like orc Gamos come in to fill that gap by shifts, even having to use Florentina's alchemy if ever possible as a stopgap measure to kill as minimal beings as possible. Ike clearly has a plan against the prideful humans, most especially against their general, to hold out and wait until he decides to act, that the demons give Ike full reign of the ongoing battle. As to Cefiro, Ike positions her differently for a sneak attack against human forces in the forest, and the stint to rile the human general works to boost remaining morale, but also in anticipation of their imminent deaths. He is always one step ahead of the humans, which also show the frailty of the general being backstabbed by the dwarves that he chased out, despite Ike stopping Gunther before a death is registered, resulting in humans retreating from Ivalias. The resulting outcome is the fellow demons being enamored at Ike's strategy, whilst Cefiro deals with the hero, who gets to live another day with the retreat. A win for Ike, this war should bring more credibility to his name. |

| @Flynn_bridge Ye that felt super weird. Is that gonna be Cefiro's love interest or something cause I sure hope not as this would come out of nowhere and it was implied she likes Ike as well. Claiming him for her and saying stuff like won't hand over him. |

| As much as Ike's strategy of keeping his forces fresh while the enemy wears down is sound, the explanation is weak because there are points left unexplained, such as how they neutralized the mages. The lack of animation didn’t help either—the battle looked like dolls with little mobility. To top it off, what the dwarf said was true: an enemy you forgive can cause more harm later. The scene with Cefiro and the red knight was a bit strange, and I imagine he's the hero. I just hope he doesn't become a romantic interest. Anyway, they won the war. |

| The whole tactical aspect of the episode was cool and all but I’m sorry releasing the enemy commander after seeing the lows he’ll go to to defeat the demons is stupid. The guy was willing to kill his own men to take the demons down and you think he won’t be back with some more dastardly shit? Ike is a good guy, but there’s a difference between being good and dumb. On top of that the animation was awful in this episode. Looked like a power point at times which sucks because the Yamamoto OST slapped as usual. Sigh, at least the demons won the battle and for now at least have pushed the humans back. And ideally the rank and file human soldiers will at least see that the demons aren’t pure evil even if they’re pos commander still thinks they are. Also, Is that human dude going to be Cefiro’s love interest? That was the most awkward stare down ever lmao. |

| I suppose if you are still here after 8 eps you're a connoisseur, a real avid enjoyer of seasonal trash, hats off. I'm on the other side, the camp of people who are in too deep, those who was like let me just give it one more eps maybe it'll get good and now contemplating dropping the whole thing and wondering if its too late. Welp I suppose 8 eps of this is punishment enough, hell I'd even consider forgiving Adolf half his crimes against humanity for making it past eps 3, I'm glad I'm at least self respecting enough to have the courage to drop this anime at this point, and to the valorous connoisseurs again hats off your contributions to voluntary brain root will not be forgotten. |

If the only char you care about is the fcking Succubus then stop cobsidering and drop it allready ffs xD What does she have at all...and don't get the fanservice into here xD

| Yeah the battle was underwhelming but regardless Ike's plan was a success and I thought it was interesting how he had the different groups alternate/rotate so that one specific group wouldn't get tired. On that note I think he should've had the flying mobs take out the catapults sooner but he probably had to deal with their mages first. Regarding Cefiro, I think she had that stare down with the hero guy because she wanted to "consume" him (like killing him and taking his soul) but the retreat order saved him. |

| Yeah this alliance general was so unserious. Dude was legit sipping tea as his men were dying lol. At least Ike has his little harem now, with Jiron being the best one in it tbh. |
