| @Miiisha She's such a distasteful character at this point with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. Just a boring, by the book overpowered Mary Sue. She really is by far the worst character in this show. I suppose the source material has some sort of redeeming arc for her at some point, but there's little she can do to win me over from now. It's a shame because I really, really like this series, but whenever she's on she pisses me off. |

I was also reminded of that One Punch Man episode when he punched a meteor and the debris destroyed the city anyway. It really looked like a needle poking a giant water balloon, so that it would just explode then and there. Otherwise a very entertaining episode with great animation. |
| Seeing Kafka being held at gunpoint by the same comrades he was bawling out of sheer appreciation of them hurts, but man. The goosebumps I got from the moment everyone realized the truth was on another level. And while Kafka stole the show, the animation of Hoshina running and slicing all over the big red dude was pretty badass too. |
| best episode so far, that was hype af. pretty much sealed hoshina as the best character with that flashback and cool fight, then doubled down with the kafka transformation. pretty cool reveal to the rest of them. i'm even tempted to increase my score, but let's see if it ends with a bang. |

Well Kafka let himself get busted. The action scenes in this ep were a little bit disappointing compared to the manga. Ichikawa didn't arrive at the training zone and was talkin' to Kafka over microphone in the manga. They changed it I see. Kafka givin' up his security for his friends' lives definitely W

| I've always really liked Hoshina as a character and this episode has made me like him even more. I knew it was a matter of time until Kafka exposed himself but this was sooner than expected. I hope we get to see the 3rd division oppose his execution. |

| Ngl, that fight vs. the kaiju was taking somewhat long and I was losing interest; but man, I didn't expect Kafka was going to show his kaiju identity to everyone there. This anime always finds the way to keep you interested. |

| I asked myself, 'If the kaiju did destroy the city would I care? Would I be sad?' and the answer is no. This show is like the zoomer Attack on Titan with nothing to set itself apart. They haven't given a reason to care about any of the characters in 10 episodes. |
| This was the inevitable outcome of Kafka joining the defense forces. In fact it was so obvious I figured they'd do something different as a curveball, but nope. Oh well, at least the stakes were high enough to justify it and he looked awesome saving everyone. With only two episodes left doesn't seem like a lot of time to resolve much this season. I wonder if there'll be some major threat and they have to resort to Kafka bailing them out. That would be a little too obvious, but, well... Also I don't really blame the defense force for taking Kafka into custody. Even if he'd been upfront with the authorities from the beginning, some creature burrowed into Kafka and transformed him into a different organism for unknown reasons. How could they ever trust him fully or really know he's can't be influenced by the kaiju? |
| How can heroes just keep getting back up. No matter how powerful those suits are, there is no way he should be able to fight through the pain and those injuries. Human bodies are comparatively weak. Welp, the Kaiju is out of the bag. I'm guessing he will have to prove he is actually the human Kafka Hibino, explain what happened to him and that he is not a danger to humans, next episode. Or, Ichikawa and Shinomiya will stick up for him. Or both... Probably both. I wonder if Hoshina will say anything... Cuz he and Mina seem super pissed. |

| Felt a roller coaster of emotions this week. I was so pissed when Mina jumped in before he transformed. Total cock tease. But then they fixed that a few minutes later in a pretty cool scene. But then the writer does the stupid shit where they put him under custody after the reveal. It's so fucking stupid. They would have all been nuked if not for him. So is he a threat? Furthermore, they came up on him with handguns to get him in custody, lol. Even in his weakened state, what could they possibly do? Gotta stop reading this thread though. My head is going to explode with all these idiotic AOT comparisons. This is like the most superficial power-battle anime. The characters have been very one dimensional. Probably seen them like hundreds of times in other shows and manga. The story has been a very straight forward super hero-secret identity story. Unless you guys are teasing something from the manga that's coming I can't see how you can look at this at compare it to AOT based on these 10 episodes, unless you guys are memeing. AOT from day one was all about the mystery of the special titans and the world. I guess there's the whole Kafka getting infected and being given powers stuff, but I'm not really expecting that to be an interesting plot point if it's every explained. |
