Shit got real fast. Found more about who Kuroyuri really is, aka a legendary spy whose real name is Kuragao.

Got to also hear some storytelling about him and his background. I think Taiyo neede a better strategy considering what he's going up against. There's feeling of revenge being felt. Taiyo's simple goal seems to not let anyone else die really. Well played though. Seriously, Taiyo did very well against a former experienced spy.

It's time for the big showdown.

The escort vehicle detonates, narrowly missing Kuroyuri, much to Taiyo's dismay. Sui calmly remarks that this outcome was anticipated, unveiling Kuroyuri's true identity as Kurogao, a legendary spy presumed dead five or six years ago. As Taiyo and the team give chase to the elusive Kurogao, he unexpectedly emerges in a live internet broadcast with the Deputy Prime Minister, whom he has evidently abducted. With vengeance in mind, Kurogao points his gun at the Deputy Prime Minister, revealing the history of their bitter feud and his motive. Taiyo springs into action, interrupting the broadcast and confronting Kurogao head-on.

Kurogao remained unfazed by Taiyo, confident that Taiyo wouldn't risk harming Shirosagi in the crossfire. When Taiyo attempted a close-range tackle, he found himself easily overpowered and restrained by his own device. Kurogao explained his reliance on information in every aspect, including combat, and delved into his own backstory. Despite Taiyo's efforts to intervene, Kurogao aimed once more at Shirosagi, prompting Taiyo to rise and confront him, with backup from the Triplets. After connecting with Taiyo and understanding his family's plight, Kurogao offered to disclose information about Taiyo's family if he backed down.

Another succesful mission for Taiyo.

This was really good Taiyo managed to hold his own against a veteran and experienced spy and won. The action scenes were amazing and am glad that this show is more than just 12 episodes and that the story can develop nicely.

I have to be honest. I know this is a shonen and all, but it's kind of hard suspending my disbelief with what goes on in these action scenes makes spy family seem more realistic I'm probably thinking this way cause the action scenes in this are mediocre compared to spy x family that blind sights me so I don't question it.
Like why they giving him this aura?

The trio were Spy Family 5th and Yozakuras 1st. Wonder where the Forgers rank as?

Finally an ongoing plot for once.Kuragao was honestly justified there. He couldve shot the governor at anytime instead of Taiyo but ig he wants it to be on air to all.Actually p great action scenes for this episode,at least they know what to prioritise production at.

That was an insane mission completed by Taiyo Asano. So Kuroyuri had a hidden identity: Kurogao. I understand him, he wanted to take revenge on every people who were behind the plan of killing his daughter. On the other hand, he successfully faked his death and lived silently disguised as a politician.

Taiyo and Sui Aoi made a great teamwork and they finally succeeded to kill Kurogao and save the deputy prime minister. Beside Kyoichiro, everyone was happy that Taiyo made it back unharmed.

Apparently, Taiyo learned how to use Sui’s Walking on Flowers technique, created by Hinagiku spies. Red, Blue and Yellow were good too, but they didn’t stand a chance on Sui and Taiyo.

I recall Kurogao's backstory. I get this whole spy thing was his way of making a living. Wanting revenge for his daughter is also understandable. Sure he has to realize that through his work he has made plenty of enemies which would put his family in danger and it just needed catching up to him.

It is nice to see Taiyou reflect on this considering he could be put in the same situation later on in life if he keeps being a spy. Luckily the Yozakura Family is one of the best groups in the business so they won't have too much trouble. Or at least I hope.

Looking forward to when they reveal whose behind killing Kurogao off. This is around the time where I thought the manga was going to get the axe so I was happy when this plot point was made.

This show for me personally has a great balance of comedy and heavy drama/action.

It’s why I was never crazy about spy x family. I felt it really pushed for the comedy overall. But this show has the perfect balance for my tastes

Holy shit if I recall from the manga and I KNEW it was gonna happen but this is the part of the story where shit picks up and gets even more interesting I don’t want to spoil who I think it was who shot I forgot but I have a good idea as to who it was and I can’t wait for the reveal to happen in the anime🤩🔥🔥🔥

The animation is actually so good in this anime Silver Link is actually doing a solid job like I deadass had no hope in this show having great animation but everytime Taiyo pulls out his gun the blue electricity so so vibrant i love it and the camera angles are a nice touch as well👍🏽

I remember parts of this because it's why I kept reading the manga when I couldn't decide if I was getting bored with it or not lol

It's put together better in animated form thankfully

It feels sad, he couldn't avenge his daughter. In the end, they were all products of the war, affected by betrayal. It's unfortunate that the misdeeds of that minister didn't come to light. Now, I'm curious about what will happen with the pig.

And on the other hand, there is now a being above everyone else, maybe a mole? Whoever it is, they're definitely beyond the best detection abilities of the Yozakura.

What an incredible episode, we will finally enter this arc of investigation into the death of Tayo's family, firstly it was super cute the family preparing surprises for Tayo when he returns from the mission except his eldest brother who continues to want to kill him, we enter the spy part killer disguised as a police officer and this part in particular was sad to see the death of his beloved daughter in the manga, it's already sad, lively, it became even more exciting, his fight against Tayo was incredible, he used the flower step, and in the end when he would tell me he was silenced by someone and now Tayo will investigate everything that happened to him and his own family, thankfully we have 19 more episodes to enjoy of this wonderful work

Incredible episode. Looks like this arc about Taiyo's family will be great. Glad I put my trust on this anime from the start great action, romance, comedy and good drama this time too and the animation quality improved too.
Kurogao is brilliant antagonist has justifiable motivation for his action and regrets nothing.
Taiyo was brilliant this time learning flower-movement so fast to turn the tables and using siscons steel spider technique as finishing move was perfect.
Mutsumi reaction at the end was so precious.

Hmm, so there's a powerful assassin that killed off Kurogao that even gave Sui the shivers, interesting. Makes me wonder if that assassin is connected to Taiyo's parents death.

The Kuroyuri incident isn't quite over, as the Yozakura Family worries so much about Taiyo, much less both Kyoichiro and Futaba. The conspicuous politican was once a spy named Kurogao (which Sui knows) who captured the Deputy Prime Minister Shirasagi, because he's also the victim of a family lost, just like Taiyo. And him being a legendary spy says it all when he knows about the Yozakura Family way of spy operation, for someone who turned to evil for revenge because his family was too in the strikezone.

Both Kurogao and Taiyo may have similar connotations beind the loss of their families, but if there's one thing, the latter doesn't want any lives lost. As Sui takes on Red Blue Yellow, he defeats them easily, while Taiyo takes all he learnt from both sides and integrate it into his battle with Kurogao, which he concedes defeat and is silenced by an assassin not before passing a slip of paper telling him of his daughter's grave and respecting his last wishes.

Taiyo is getting better with progression, and that's for the best.

Really good episode. My biggest question for now is: Where the heck was Kuroyuri assassinated from?

One Piece episode 914 & 915 & 1027 were a mistake and 957 brought the salvation - FMmatron

This show just keeps getting better and better. I wasn't expecting Kuroyuri to have such a tragic backstory as Kurogao. That plotline of Taiyo's also got kept open in such a mysterious way. My curiosity has been piqued!

There’s definitely more to this…

For whatever reason, when Kurogao tried to tell Taiyo everything about his family, he was silenced by an assassin. So this assassin may be the one who killed Taiyo’s family and led him down this path of becoming a member of the Yozakura family.

Well at least Taiyo got a win against the dude by utilizing Hinagiku’s Walking on Flowers, Nanao’s antidote embedded in his tooth, Shion’s combat tactics data, Kengo’s fake skin neutralizer, Futaba’s Jiu Jutsu moves, Shinzo’s jamming gum, and Kyoichiro’s Steel Spider. Taiyo pulled out all the stops.

Now, what about the events that resulted in his parents getting assassinated and him being the last one alive?
